I have the DROID Bionic, which is notorious for sucking down huge amounts of battery power to do just about anything. Using the 2.1A slot on this charger I can use navigation, play music, and actually have the charge on my battery increase. Typically I use my phone to play music through my car's speakers for my commute home (30-45 min), in that time I can usually go from ~50% up to ~75-80% on the extended battery (normal battery will be full charge in that time). All of the other chargers that I have used w/ this phone will barely keep up w/ the demand of just using navigation, and I would end up "charging" the phone just to stay at the same battery level (or just below).

I have not had any issues that the other reviewers have experienced. I don't know if I lucked out and got one from a good batch, but I am very pleased w/ my purchase.

Product was received quickly and appeared to be a decent item. I bought this for a small road trip so I could charge 2 cell phones at once (HTC Evo and HTC Arrive). The charger took some finagling to keep the led light on so I knew it was getting power, but didn't have any problems with staying on once in place. After just over 2hrs of driving, both phones had less power than when I departed, despite the appearance of charging the entire time. I was the driver and didn't use my phone at all and had the screen off, so I don't know what the cause was, but my Sprint charger doesn't do this at all...

It has two different ports with different amp ratings. I am not sure what was the amp rating that my lumia 900 needed. I tried charging my phone from both ports for a decent drive lasting over 30 minutes (redmond to rattle snake lake). On one port it didn't charge at all. On the other one charging only lasted for some time.

I bought other car charger form AT&T which worked pretty well for me(charge lasts much longer).

This item worked perfectly for about one and a half months after that it began to make an extremely high pitches sound off and on as long as something is plugged in. This type of sound is usually a precursor of complete failure and is a clear sign of cheap materials. As of March it has now completely stopped functioning

I ordered this and received it quickly. It came in their professional packaging (which looks just like anything else related to smart phones).

The coiled cord is nice. It tends not to kink or get in the way, and it is certainly long enough.

As most car charging devices seem to, this charger charged my iPod 5th gen faster than a wall charger.

The light on the charger that indicates it is charging is a blue color. It's bright and nice to look at.

The overall quality of the charger is what I'd call better than most of the things you'd buy at a retail store (especially places like AT&T or Verizon).

I only have one small issue with the charger. The plug that connects to the device itself is a little too beefy. I had to take my Otterbox off to plug it in, It was just large enough not to fit. This is by no means a deal breaker, just something to think about in the future. I recommend this product.

I ordered this product because it clearly stated that it worked with the iPhone 5S. It did not. The connector slips right out, it won't stay in and therefore won't charge the iPhone 5S. Very disappointed. This is the first time I've ever written a review on a product. I wouldn't have purchased the product if it hadn't stated that it was compatible with the iPhone 5S.

I really like this charger. It has a broad 'X' on the base that lights up with a blue light that lets you know its on. No more flipping the car charger over to see if its on or not. You will know right away.

This adapter works well, but I have concerns about the durability of the cable itself (not the connectors). The wire is very light guage and does not have the outer cover that the OEM adapter has.

Edited/updated review: The item shipped IS NOT the same as pictured in the product listing. The cable does not have an outer jacket and consists of two very thin wires with light-weight insulation. After just 11 months of moderate-to-light use, the cable frayed and broke just where it enters the 12-volt power connector for the cigarette lighter socket. I don't believe this adapter is worth the money and would not purchase this product again.

I purchased one of these replacement power cords last October through Amazon. I was surprised to see how thin the cord was --not the same thinkness as the original Garmin cord. Despite this, I used the cord through the Winter only to have it break one morning due to the cold temperature. While I do live in New England, I still would not expect a car power cord to literally snap due to cold weather brittleness. I've never had this issue with any other mobile power cord. I attempted to contact the seller in February asking for a refund but never received any response. I ended up buying an original equipment Garmin power cord from ebay, which works fine. A bit more expensive but worth the little extra cost. Don't waste your money with this product or seller.

I ordered this in July for my Garmin c340 and it worked just as it was supposed to until this morning (in early Feb)when I went to plug it into the cigarette lighter, the cord had completely snapped off of the part that plugs in. I spend a lot of time on an island that gets frequent power outages. So I keep the charger in the car. When the phone's power reaches about 20%, I plug the removable plug in battery into the phone and it will transfer about 30% extra. What I love about this is that I don't have to remember to plug my phone in when I get in the car, and I can take that little charger with me when I leave the car. I never use the wall charger. But I was unable to buy the car charger separately. This is the second one I've purchased. The first one is still in use after 4 years.

The shipment of the item came in no time, amazon rocks! But the only thing is, it isn't compatible with my 3G IPhone! Perhaps because it is an unlocked one. When I plug it in to charge it begins to charge and makes that noise and then starts twitching as if someone is unplugging and plugging in the phone. Weird. The Easy Heat system seems to be well made. The 3' cord is too short for many applications (including mine.) Since it's 90 degrees in the shade now I can't say how well the Easy Heat system will work. One thing you should be aware of is that this item in NOT A THERMOSTAT. You will need to buy a separate thermostat (and also a spool of heat wire) to make a complete system. I bought the Farm Innovators model TC-3 because the Easy Heat thermostat got so many poor reviews. My common complaint with Amazon listed items is that there is often not enough information given.

Mine arrived yesterday inside a box that was inside a box that was inside another box. Although the boxes were undamaged during shipping, the cabinet of the charger was dented on four sides. Why? A transformer capable of delivering 50 amps of current continually is a very heavy component of a good battery charger. It is much too heavy for the cheap, flimsy cabinet that Schumacher calls "Heavy Duty". It's a little like having an anvil bouncing around inside a tin barrel. The thing is just too heavy for its container.

Because the Amazon website says that it is "non-returnable" I took it apart and pushed most of the dents out of it. Only one dent required a hammer and a block of wood to fix, the rest I could push out with my fingers! Yes, that's how cheap the cabinet is on a Professional Series Battery Charger from Schumacher! I pushed out the dents with my fingers! No amount of packaging could ever protect the eggshell that was built around this thing.

While I had it apart to fix the dents, I checked the connections (good) and the mountings of all the components. The mounting base of the transformer was bent (due to its weight) but the rivets holding it down were still tight.

Electrically it is a well-designed piece of equipment. Structurally, it is crap.

Schumacher! Wake up! We'd gladly pay twenty bucks extra for some heavier gauge sheet metal! You put quality into the rest of this "Professional" charger -why not the cabinet? I own four of your (smaller) chargers in all. They are all decent and reliable chargers. I was expecting more from your "Professional Series" Chargers than what I got. I really feel like you guys let us all down on this one.

Cheap Vmaxtanks AGM 125ah for Solar Wind Power Emergency Backup Generator

Like another customer, I did my own extensive research. This is an amazing battery for the price, and free shipping to boot. I currently have primarily wet cell batteries which are extremely dangerous and a pain to transport with that given danger of spillage of sulfuric acid. I purchased an Optima battery, which is a great product itself, however its capacity seems to max out at 66AH. That, and they seem to be a little bit overpriced. These batteries solve both problems with being AGM batteries, and 125AH. I bought two and run them in parallel and they lasted a good few days powering my entire multi-media center (Power guzzling TV, 7.1 700W surround sound receiver and speakers with separately plugged in 12" sub, PS3, Modem, router, various fans, etc.). Only down side is that they are EXTREMELY heavy (about 75lbs. each). But having worked with batteries and power for a living, I understand that that is just a fact of DC life. There is no way around it! The bigger the capacity, the heavier the battery. Plus, these are dry cell (NO MAINTENANCE).

These batteries are perfect for the applications they describe (solar). Like another customer mentioned, it even has its own torque recommendations. Given that I don't leave it with a float voltage or anything and move it back and forth from the solar panel system I built to the house to be hooked up to an inverter, I don't really pay much mind...but if you plan on leaving these in a stagnant location, I would definitely follow the torque recommendations to get maximum potential and efficiency from these batteries.

I still can't get over the free shipping! Anyway, coming from the point of view of someone who worked with batteries and DC power for a living, these are awesome batteries.

A very heavy object delivered right to my doorstep. The packaging was intact, the battery was in pristine condition. I have been using this battery for a solar test system. It charges well, maintains the charge, and discharges well. Years are needed to determine how it lasts, but so far, so good.
