Used this product often since purchasing. Jump starting my two vintage IH Scout II's is but one use. I also camp, but need a CPAP for sleep appnea. This unit gives me many nights of 12V power without recharging. It also allows phone recharging and running of a laptop without 12V sockets connected to a camper deep cycle battery by a long wire and alligator clips. The 300 watts inverter is a simple plug and go capability. When I charge my Cammper Deep Cycle Battery with a 2000W Generator, I just hook the unit up as the same time. Though I have not used it with the Wagan EL9796 Easy Quick Jumper In-Car Jumpstarter I purchased at the same time, I feel secure that if I lose the charge on my Chevy Silverado while remotely camped and in bad weather, I can get it started using both these products through the 12V in cab outlet.

Purchased the Economical Version of this product directly from their website. These solar panels are solidly built. They feel really solid. They also come in sturdy storage cases. After spending a month or more looking all over the web, I chose to purchase from this vendor because of the storage cases and the great customer reviews on their website.

I have three (130W) "economical" versions of these panels. What is offered here is the "professional" version of their 130W system. This is actually a nicer product than the economical version. The difference between the economical version and this version is a) inclometer (to check optimal sun angle), b) CEA Solar patented control charger (for blow by blow geek status updates :) and 3) theft-alarm deterrent system.

My version does not appear to be available on Amazon but is available from their website for about $645. ). As soon as the inverter arrives (A Samlex PST 200S 12A 2000 W Pure Sine Wave inverter), I will be running 390W Solar arrangement with the Samlex inverter and 4 Optima Yellow Top Dual Purpose AGM Batteries.

The reviews on their website are right on. Their customer service support is exemplary. They will NOT sell you what you don't need, and they give good advice about accompanying products. I chose to wait until my panels arrived to purchase the inverter, since I had heard horror stories about UPS guys and glass panels shipping with inverters.

Seriously, go to their website. Look at their products. Call Bob Nichols and ask him questions. Fill out their questionnaire to figure out your actual solar needs. These guys are cradle to grave merchants and I feel very secure that if any thing goes wrong they will work with me to find solutions.

I was interested in both of these impacts individually, it just so happens that it was less expensive to buy them in this kit than individually. The light was just an added benefit. The 3/8" impact is the one I use more frequently. This impact is relatively compact yet it has a very rapid hammer action that sounds similar to a hammer drill. It also has an LED light that is helpful to ensuring that you are on the fastener. I use it to remove medium grade fasteners but I wouldn't recommend installing them with it due to it's strength. It is strong and fast enough that I can quickly run down lugnuts on a passenger car before using a torque wrench to finish tightening them. The 1/2" impact is very strong and hammers much slower than the smaller impact but has no problems removing most fasteners on an average sized vehicle. It is a little nose heavy due to its sturdy hammer mechanism but it is not unbearable. I am also very pleased with the battery run time and the convenience of the "charge meter" on each battery. Something to be aware of with the charger is that it appears to be designed to be mounted vertically. It will charge in the horizontal position but at times I found mine having a difficult time getting a solid connection to get a charge. The light is probably the only thing I would want to improve on in this kit. It uses a bulb and is reasonably bright but the light that is put out leaves a dark spot in the center of the lit area that is a little annoying at times. It uses the battery quicker than the other two tools and is noticeably dimmer than my M12 LED light which I would highly recommend.

This seemed like a really good idea. A portable charging source AND a flashlight that fits into a small, convenient package for use when needed, and in a solid metal casing, too. Except it doesn't work. Not as advertised, anyway.

I have an HTC One with a 2300 mAH battery, and expected this to be able to deliver one full charge when needed. Instead, after leaving it charging overnight on this device starting at about 7% remaining charge in my phone battery, it brought my phone's charge up to just over 50% before quitting. This would indicate that the charger offers less than half of the advertised capacity of 2600 mAH. Obviously, that is not what I, or any other buyer of this product, is paying for. There were some other minor build quality issues, but none of them are even worth worrying about if the product fails to perform its most basic function.

Mine is going back.

UPDATE:

I've been in discussions with EC Technology about this issue. 2 things appear to be causing my issues. The first is that they assume that you will be charging your device in a powered down state. If that is not the case, your device will consume power and charge at the same time resulting in less than a full charge going to the device battery. Second, and more importantly, the expected conversion rate from the charger to the device is about 70% (NOT mentioned in the product description) meaning that the 2600 mAH battery advertised will, at best, provide about 1800 mAH of charging capacity. If your device is turned on during charging, it will achieve even less, which is reflected in the performance I observed. So basically, this product will probably work fine for a device with a 1500-1800 mAH battery. Anything bigger and you should probably be looking for a larger charger.

Let me assure you this is a 100% completely satisfied approval from me. The flashlight is very very bright and I charged my iphone from red line dead to fully charged in just under 2 hours. Real neat item. But it is cheap -I hope it lasts. We've been using them for 4 months so far with no problems.

Instructions are terrible, but if you have a little tech. common sense, you don't need them.

I bought a Blue one for me and a Plum one for me wife. They are designed differently! My Blue model has a Y-cable dongle for all adaptors, and it also charges. The Plum (purple) model has a flush USB connection, a single cable for adaptors and charging (flip it around and charge with the mini-usb), and had two more adaptor plugs. The Blue one I received seems a little cheaper and does not look the same as pictured. I think I got an older revision -but it works OK.

The light works well on both and they look the same. The blue has a flush lens, and the plum lens is curved in with a bump in the center. Almost as good as my LED maglite, and if this truely is 2600mAh, then it should last just as long.

I'd buy this again.. Good luck, because who knows what type you will get!

** If the product photos are still there, you can see what I mean. The WHITE end with a hole -this is the for Y-cable dongle and there is a little switch for the flashlight. The BLACK end has the nice, flush USB socket and there is a tiny button for the flashlight. Both work, but I prefer the flush USB socket because I'd rather not carry around another Y-cable.

I purchased one of these from a different manufacturer on Amazon some months back, and was very impressed. So I purchased 2 more since my partner asked for one as well. This is a versatile, convenient flashlight, but what's really cool about it is that it's also a charger for your smartphone or tablet. Now this isn't going to get you through a week in the wilderness, but it is going to get you through the day if you , like most of us, have a smartphone that you use some much that the battery drains on you. Most of us have to tether our smartphone to the desk or near an outlet to charge it. But with this you can just plug any USB cord into the end of the flashlight and charge it up on the go. When you get home at night recharge the flashlight's battery and you're ready to go.

The light itself is pretty powerful. We sometimes walk for exercise at night, and in South Florida it's pretty dark, some of the streets don't have street lighting, and using it as a flashlight is convenient. It's a nice compact size for a flashlight and having this around is really a wonderful tool for anybody who needs a portable recharge available for their smartphone. Also this is easier than bringing a smartphone's cord and the part that plugs into the wall. With this you just need the cord part. Most smartphones and tablets have a cord that unplugs from the part that goes into the outlet. So instead of carrying that I'm happy to carry this instead. I don't think the brand matters too much. The other brand was a bit more money but has a little blue led on the opposite end from the flashlight, where the USB and micro USB are. I guess that would be convenient for getting one's keys out at night, but that's about it. In any case, between the two of us we now have 3 of these and they are extremely handy.

If you can't start your car or truck with this thing, you have bigger problems than a dead battery! This unit is one of the most powerful portable battery jumpers out there at 1700 peak amps. That's almost twice as powerful as many other lower quality competitors.

This is not a "multi-purpose" unit that you will find at the local big box store. It's not an air compressor, radio, flashlight, food processor and battery jumper. It's only a battery jumper, although it does have a "cigarette-lighter" style socket to power other items if needed.

This is a great product, but consider this before you buy it: This model may not be for everyone. This is a professional grade item and is not intended to be used by people unfamiliar with proper battery jumping procedures. Here's why I say this:

1. Some battery jumping devices have a feature that will alert you if you hook the jumper cables up incorrectly. This unit has no such feature.

2. Some have safety switches that remove power to the cables while you are hooking them up. This unit has no such switch.

3. Some battery jumpers have sophisticated chargers that won't allow you to overcharge the battery. Not this one. When you plug it in to recharge it, you can't just walk away for 2 days and let it charge. You have to monitor it during the recharging process.

4. Some battery jumpers have a set of generic lights to tell you the current state of charge of the booster box. Not this one. It has a voltmeter on the front and you need to know how to read it.

Now, none of these items is THAT big of a deal, but I thought it was worth mentioning. If you aren't familiar with how to properly jump-start a car, you may be better off with another model with more "dummy-proof" features.

One last comment: This Jump n Carry comes with a redeemable certificate for a one-time replacement unit. If (for ANY reason) this unit stops working during its lifetime, you send it back to the company with the certificate (along with $50) and they will repair or replace it, no questions asked. Not a bad deal!

Bottom Line: If you need the most power in a single-purpose jumper box, buy this one!

Per the manufacturer, all of the JNC660's manufactured AFTER May 2010 now have an AUTO CHARGE feature that allows for you to plug the unit into charge and not have to monitor the charging process. This was a very big drawback of this unit prior as noted in one of the 5 star reviews from G.Powers [Looking for the most powerful battery jumper? First off let me just say that this unit is a heck of a lot better than the ones in your box stores. I have a construction company so there is always something with a dead battery everyday. This unit works good for the first, second, and 'sometimes' third jump but that's usually it. After about 8 days of heavy use I can only get the unit to recharge to about 70%I may return it. My only other complaint is that when you are in a hurry and wrap the cables back up its very easy to slice into the cable with the handles.

I bought two of these from seller Boho Tronics I did NOT receive the Cellet charger as described and pictured. I received two generic, unbranded, very cheap chargers with no packaging in a plastic envelope. The micro USB end is difficult to fit into the phone and the cable is extremely thin. It does appear to work but I have very little confidence in how long it will work. To me this is blatant false advertising. I'm disappointed when you buy something you expect to get what you purchased not a knockoff.

Update 4/4/13: The one I used broke about a month ago. The micro USB end does not make proper contact to the phones USB in so it will not charge without holding it and applying pressure.

I bought two of these car chargers for our new HTC Sensation phones. Works like a champ! The retractable feature is a very nice touch allows you to have a relatively long charger cable without it laying around your car getting messed up or looking "messy." The retractor works very well.

I can't compare the speed of charge on this charger with others, as I haven't used others on the Sensation. It does seem to charge at a rate of speed not noticeably different from our wall chargers.

When we first got this charger it looked nice, but the wire is really thin. It worked for like 3-4 days (Less than a week) and just stopped. This pair is a decent entry level compact two way radios.

If you are looking for simple, compact, short range two way radios, this is perfect for you. It's very simple to use, fits right in your palms for easy grip and handling. It's got a belt clip which makes it easy to carry around. You can use the rechargeable batter it packs with or use your own AAA batteries as back ups, which can be helpful on longer trips or usage.

Some of the negatives:

1. this model do not have 'sub-channels'. this can really bother you if you constantly have other users on the same channel jamming.

2. battery level only shows up when it's low. this can be an hassle unless you carry extra AAA batteries.

3. When on 'LOCK' status, you cannot change volume because it locks all the buttons.

4. volume is somewhat low and voice cracks on highest setting

Purchased this charger / conditioner specifically for my 36V SLA battery packs on my electric bike. Bike is my daily commuter and had been only charging at home. This charger is small and light and fits in my controller bag on the bike and allows me to charge the batteries up at work as well as at home.

I have noticed a significant improvement in my SLA battery packs. I am now getting a few more miles per charge out of them and better high current delivery on inclines.

My batteries are at least four years old as of the date of this review and were not new to me to start with. They were salvaged from a UPS system in a computer data center.

I would have to say this charger is well worth every penny, a quality built product and still less expensive than other chargers that HAVE a proper conditioning / desulfate cycle.

UPDATE 2011-07-28: Still going strong. Rides with me on my Ebike/electric bike in a handle bar bag along with motor controller to charge at work and at home. Does not get hot while power charging two 36V 7ah battery packs (2x3x12Vx7ah) SLA's are REALLY old now and still pushing me 11 miles each way and up one long hill in each direction. I still highly recommend this charger.

This charger replaced my (third) Soneil 36v charger I use for my commuter electric bike. I noticed an immediate improvement in battery performance after switching to this charger, and a gradual improvement over the next couple of weeks. I'm impressed, and the plug connections at the charger are much sturdier than the molded strain reliefs on the Soneil. Those strain reliefs have been the downfall of each one I have owned. Wish I had bought this charger earlier!

Worth the risk due to the low price.

But make sure you test it for a while before tossing the packaging !

Mine failed and I had to dig through the garbage.

The second one appears to be reliable and fully functional.
