I purchased a similar spotlight by Cyclops approximately a year ago. I have used it three/four times. I went to use it again this week and it won't turn on. I tried calling Cyclops and their Customer Service number was busy 24/7 for three days straight! I ended up sending them an email. Another week went by and no response; I wrote them again. Still nothing.... bottom line is the spotlight worked great but if you need replacement parts like a battery or bulb forget it.

I had had the Cyclops C15MIL, rated by the manufacturer 15 Million Candle Power, before I bought this from Amazon. I tested the light intensity output of both only to find out that not only were they identical, but they also fell far below the fantastic claims of 15 and 18 Million Candle Power. ... Actually candle power rating is such a misleading method of rating light output that it should be outlawed!

Instead, I measured their Luminosity in terms of Lumen Units; both have registered identical readings of 1423 and 1417 Lumens respectively, where my older C15MIL scoring the negligibly higher rating.

I then removed both their Phillips 130 watt quartz halogen lamps and replaced them with a pair of Seoul H4 55 watt 6000K Xenon HID bulbs which were parts of an auto light replacement HID kit that I bought on eBay and hooked them to their Hella ballasts which came with the kit and tucked the ballasts under the reflectors where there is an ample volume for that. I resealed both spotlights, fully charged the batteries and turned them both on.

YeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!!! The Sun shown at 11:00 PM PDST!!! .... I instantly ended up with a pair of Cyclops 4500 Lumens each, turning the Pacific Northwest late summer, early fall night into broad daylight at a fraction of the cost of buying an HID Spotlight.

This is the best spot light flash light I have owned. Great light concentration with total focus. The instructions are not clear on the recharging procedure. I e-mailed Cyclops twice and have never heard from them. It's too bad a company makes such a great product but has no product support. The light gets a 10. Cyclops gets a 0.

Pros: Very bright light with great range. Can cast a usable beam diagonally across my 20acres.

Cons: Lead acid battery makes the unit very heavy, slow to charge, and the useful battery life drops quickly.

I would not purchase this product again, look for something with modern battery technology.

It didn't work from out of the box. I charged it for 15 hours per instructions and still didn't work. When I tried to take off battery cover with phillips screw driver, the screws stripped! Done, finished, returned, refund.

This is the second blue tooth device i've owned. It works fine with my iphone...connection is good with clear sound quality. The only improvement it needs is better lighting on the device exterior. The various icons and button markers on the black colored unit need to be illuminated as the little "buddy" disappers on your car visor at night. If the "LED-LIGHTING" issue doesn't bother you, than this supertooth device will be a good "buddy" to you. Did I forget to mention the nice low price?

Long term report with this product and I am very happy. It has just 5 buttons; power, volume up, down, pairing and answer/hang-up. Big icons are hard to miss and answer/hang-up button is away from the others so there is no fat-fingering the power button. It has a strong visor clip that is held to the device by a magnet so the device can be removed for charging. It has a rechargeable internal battery, so it is environmently-friendly. The only downside is when the battery goes dead you can't charge it on the clip, because the charge connector is on the back side of the unit.

I will never go back to an earpiece again.

Purchased 2 of the Buudy Supertooth Hands free devices. ! for my vehicle and 1 for my wife. They work very well. Are clear and transmit clearly. Easy to operate and almost completely avoid distraction. The only problem we have is our cell phones need to be manually connected every time the bluetooth is activated. Reviewed many auto Bluetooth (BT) devices on websites and on Consumer Reports. BlueAnt was rated in the top 2 on each site because of send and receive sound quality. I would totally agree!!! Sound is clear on both ends at all levels and the receive volume can be turned up quite loud. It has some great features AND has better sound than my luxury auto.

Why purchased: for my wife and son that never answers their phone while driving.

Likes: Sound quality, volume, no feedback on receiving end, allows 2 phone connection, connects automatically when in range of the car, which is my only dislike. Also, this device is MUCH cheaper than other auto handsfree devices.

Dislikes: BT range is excellent. With car in the garage and when my wife is anywhere in the house she gets frustrated when she makes or receives a call because the BlueAnt connects the call just remember to turn off your phone's BT or the BlueAnt when you're at home

Because of everything mentioned above the product makes an EXCELLENT gift! I see myself purchasing many more for family.

Well made and durable. We tow two kayaks on a boat trailer and they stick out a few feet from the end. These bright red meshes attach easily with caribiners to the kayaks and provide an added measure of safety to cars behind us. Our State also requires something like this when carrying long items on vehicles and trailers. This is a very inexpensive safety device for towing and hauling long items on truck beds and trailers. Highly recommended.

I saw there is 1 other review giving this power inverter 1 star but I had a very different experience with it. Washington state got hit with an ice storm. In the greater Seattle area, 460,000 people lost their power (and we are still in the middle of it right now). Every home improvement, costco, Lowes, Home Depot stores were out of generators. We are going on our 4th day without power and not expected to get it back for another 3. I was desperate to get a light going, a tv going, something to entertain our 2 yr old at night time in the dark.

I went and got this inverter at home depot (btw, I paid $75 there so it is cheaper on Amazon), hooked it onto one of our cars, plugged in a 50 foot extension cord and ran it inside our home then plugged that into a 6 plug power strip. We can now power our TV, 2 laptops, modem, router, a light (with a halogen bulb) and 2 cell phones (via the computers usb port). We could probably power more but only have 6 slots on the power strip.

No this is not a generator. I would not plug in a refrigerator, washer / dryer or anything like that but given the fact we had no power at all, this thing is amazing. We have a gas fireplace, gas hot water heater and gas stove range so we are warm, clean and can cook but now we can see without using candles and stream shows onto our tv for some entertainment.

I recommend this item! It helped us when we needed some help during a hard winter storm.

We were looking for something light weight and easy to hook up for our tailgate. This worked perfectly and was very simple to setup. My friend was worried about draining his battery with this, but the device comes with a light indicator that gives you a status on your battery. We were running a TV and a computer off of this, and it worked perfectly. I'm sure it could have handled more, but this is all we needed.

I would definitely recommend this for a small to medium size tailgate where you a running a few items. It sure beats lugging around a huge generator and you don't have to break the bank.

Our power went out for 4 days recently. My wife reminded me we owned the inverter. I conneced it to the refrigerator for a couple of hours and then the freezer and the food survived just fine. I also had enough power to run a fan and a few lights. We tried a few other appliances like the iron (it was her 30th reunion weekend and she wanted to look her best)but was too much.

Bottom line: Its as good as its gonna get for less than 40.00, as long as the wattages are realtively low your good to go. Just leave the car in the garage and run an a couple of extensions to what hurts the most.

My LCD TV buzzed like it was going explode plugged into this...

My laptop power supply started charging, but within 30 seconds stopped and would not re-start

My line-interactive UPS would not accept power from it

The plugs on the front feel cheap and are difficult to actually plug into, when you do plug in you hear very worrisome sounding "POP"s and other electrical type noises... doesn't instill any confidence

It DID generate power, so I suppose if you're running a regular light bulb or something it would be fine... but if you think you'll be able to run a small modern TV, laptop or other electronic devices--look elsewhere.

I can see why it's discontinued on the B&D site (something I learned afterwards)... I'll be returning it.

I bought this to plug onto my battery tender harness so I could have a 12 volt outlet on my bike to charge my electronics as I rode. It seems to work well however might need something to help keep the 12 volt plugs secured in place as they tend to self eject over time and you are no longer charging. I think it is a better option than some of the costly options (power pod) for this issue that are out there however it is not perfect.

i think this was the first install i was able to do on my own on my bike. it wasnt hard at all just a little time consuming. Only reason it took so long is because i removed some of the plastic side panels on my honda cbr 600 09' to get the wire behind the plastic sides so that it looked cleaner. it works great doesnt suck up power as long as the bike is turned off. great buy and i would definitely recommend it to anyone that may have long drives and a bluetooth on their helmet for important calls and you cant have your phone dying.

I bought an RV several years ago with this brand of converter in it. I was so impressed with the charge wizard, I recomend Progressive Dynamics to everyone I know with an RV. I bought a new fifth wheel, and the first thing I did, was to change out the converter that came with the RV with a Progressive Dynamics. I bought this one for my son for Christmas. Product works and functions like it should.... the product came loose with out the box or the Remote Display that plugs into the Converter.. The serial number was scratched off the product but a note to and from the manufacturer said they would cover warranty.... An email to the supplier got the Remote Display mailed to me..

I was very excited to recieve my FM transmitter. It works great. However whenever I plug in the battery charger I get an annoying whistle noise that is some how connected to when I press the gas. I think has something to do with a power surge from pressing the gas. I am not an engineer. I do like this device. Charging your phone and playing Itunes is great at the same time is great.

This EVSE works perfectly with my 2012 Nissan LEAF. I installed the outlet for it myself and then just plugged this in when it arrived -although, a word of warning, you probably don't want to do it like that. Wait for this to arrive before installing an outlet, because the included template shows you good places to put the outlet -mine was actually a little bit too close. The cord is very short and very stiff, so the valid locations for the outlet are limited.

My only complaint is that these things are so expensive. Considering what it does: When it gets an appropriate signal from the car, it turns on the AC current in the cable. It doesn't seem like there's a thousand dollars worth of technology here.

We had been trying to buy this product for about a month on Amazon but it had been sold out. We were able to order it from aerovironment directly about two weeks ago, before it reappeared on Amazon. We did pay a bit more but weren't sure when we would see it here on the site. So far it has been great. We had the outlet installed for around $250 and that made installation very easy. Didn't take much over twenty minutes and we were charging the car with the Level 2 charger. Having the charger is great and relieves a lot of the anxiety range you can get with the level 1 charger and a Leaf. If you can get over the fact the manufacturer also builds drones, this is a good product. One other issue is it is a little harder to get the nozzle into the car than the charger that comes with the car. Our 5 year old loves setting up the charger but has had trouble with the new charger.

I am using this charger for my 2013 Leaf (6.6 kW). It works perfectly. I have the unit in the garage but plugin to my car outside the garage, even in the rain. I recommend getting the receptacle at the same time in case your electrician doesn't have one handy. Only, compliant is that I wish the chord from the unit to the receptacle was longer. But it is installed now, and I've had no problems.

If you want a portable charger to charge your device wherever you might find yourself do not buy this one.

I was expecting a charger that had male prongs and could be independently pluged into a wall outlet. This charger has the advantage of making the wall outlet available for dual use but the disadvantage of not being able to be used independently to charge you cell phone or other device.

For what it is it works very well but unfortunately it does not suit the purpose I had intended for it and I will have to purchase an additional charger.

I was intrigued by the design of this adaptor and bought two right off the bat. Even though I have the OEM charger for all my personal electronic devices (Galaxy Note II, Huawei MyTouch (T-Mobile), Kindle, etc.), they are all pretty clunky and of course each one takes up a plug-in slot, with some also covering another plug-in making it unusable as well.

Even with two separate plug-in strips on my nighstand, I had run out of room, since I have a lamp, CPAP machine, alarm clock, etc., all plugged in along with the aforementioned portable devices. I originally thought I would use the Mediabridge adaptors just for travel, but now I have gotten rid of some of those bulkier adaptors instead.

Did NOT work with my Magellan 1470 GPS. Packaging listed only cell phone applications. It did work with other more generic devices, so the charger doesn't appear to be defective, just not compatible with Magellan 1470.

Quick shipping, response and refund from seller (Bastexwireless) and from Amazon, but the product applications have not been changed and they should be.

My wife broke our Magellan car charger when she adjusted her seat forward when the cord was caught in the railing. We had a car adapter for a cellphone that fit (i.e. both mini USB), but the charger didn't have the proper power output, which meant that the GPS had to "charge up" for a few minutes before it would turn on, and it would run out of power while we were using it.

My wife was getting mad, and thought that the GPS was broken and wanted me to buy a new one. However after some research I learned that I simply needed a new car charger, which led me to this product.

This car charger does exactly what it's supposed to do. It keeps the GPS charged, and there is no longer any "charge time" or random shut downs during operation because my GPS is now getting all the power it needs.

My only complaint (and this is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5) is that it gets pretty hot when it's being used, and I'm worried that it'll burn out in a few months. However, for the time being at least, it works great.

This is a cell phone charger and will not power my Magellan RoadMate 1470 GPS. When I used it to power the RoadMate it turn on for an few seconds then turned back off. Clearly not able to deliver the power needed to run the GPS. It may be able to trickle charge the GPS battery when the GPS is off, but this does not help me since the outlets in my civic are not active unless the keys are in the ignition. Plus on a long trip, the charging will not be able to keep up with the battery drain.
