Cheap 2 Rapid Car Chargers with IC Chip for Sprint, Alltel HTC Touch Pro
These are excellent for their price... they work perfectly, well until I broke then end of one of them... they are just not heavy duty so if you can take it easy with these you will be happy with them..I just received these today, and tested them both out on the little lady's HTC Touch Pro. Both worked perfectly, and for less than $4 total, it's awesome. They're made by a Chinese company called GTMax, and come individually packaged. I will update this if something goes wrong, but 5 stars on initial quality.

I was looking for a cheap "smart charger" and stumbled upon this charger from this page:
http://www.amazon.com/The-Best-AA-Battery-Chargers/lm/R1MD2AX62GW80A
It was the cheapest one in the list, and I had a very limited budget, so I decided to buy it and try it out. I ordered it on September 4th, and it arrived on the 10th. When I opened it, the first thing I noticed was that it was not the same charger as pictured. Then I saw on the package, "highspeed charging from 30 min" and immediately decided that I didn't want it, because I know that fast chargers are not good for your battery's health. I wrote to the seller telling them that I was returning it because I didn't want a 30 min. charger, and I recieved this response.
"The charger you ordered and received is not a 30 minute charger. Its maximum output is 600 milliamp which means that a 2400 mah AA battery (for example) will charge is approximately four hours. (If it were a 30 minute charger, it would have to charge at 4800 mah; however, this charger's maximum output is 600 mah mathematically impossible to charge a standard battery in thirty minutes.) What the charger packaging and information is telling you is that within the first 30 minutes of charge time, the charger will reach its maximum charge based on the type of battery and its condition. There is no battery that this charger will charge in 30 minutes. From the manufacturer's specifications:
THE CHARGING CURRENT: The maximum charging current per channel can be up to 600mAh or 2.4A total. The charging current is adjusted permanently according to the quality, inner resistance and fast charging capability of each individual battery.
I hope this clears any misunderstanding and that you will choose to keep the charger and enjoy it.
Thank you for your order."
So I decided to keep it and try it. I have some 2500 mah Tenergy Batteries, so I plugged them in to see what would happen. I monitored them carefully, and after a couple of hours, they started to heat up. They got hot enough that I got worried, and put them and the charger in the fridge for a while. After they had cooled down, I put them to charge again. But again the batteries began to heat up, so I put them in the fridge again. Then charged them until the green lights stopped blinking which means they are done charging. The total time elapsed was about 4 hours including the refrigeration! As it says in the description, each of the batteries stops charging individually when it is done and you can charge from 1 to 4 batteries.
If this charger hadn't heated up the batteries so much, I would have given it 5 stars. Perhaps I could just set the charger in the fridge when I am using it? :-)
P.S. See my customer images that I uploaded to see what you are actually getting, as the product description does not have accurate photos.
Update. I have used this a number of times since I bought it. I even bought the same brand 4 pack AA batteries for a digital camera. I charge in pairs and it always seems like one finishes charging and then other one won't stop charging. I have used Ni-cads for years and I know when they start to warm up that usually means they are at the peak of there charge. I am not sure if I have a bad battery but it does it with another brand I have also and it doesn't help to change charging bays. I also just bought cordless phones that use AAA size Ni-MH batteries and this charger is supposed to be capable of charging them, well it wouldn't charge them. I stuck then in there and it showed they were fully charged but when I put the batteries in the phone they showed dead. I ended up having to just charge them in the phone charger.

This charger charges batteries as well as I could have hoped. It is much faster than the last one I owned, but I wish it also had the capacity to charge the larger batteries like C and D cells. You also have to have two batteries charging at the same time, which is only slightly inconvenient. I think it will meet our needs.Best Deals for Accupower Accu-manager 2010 AA-AAA Battery Charger Charges Nimh

Extremely high quality with German engineering.Honest reviews on Accupower Accu-manager 2010 AA-AAA Battery Charger Charges Nimh
Even though I have only used it a few times it works great for AA batteries. But I recently bought a phone that used AAA rechargeable Nimh batteries and even though it showed they had charged them when I put them in the phone they showed they were just about dead. I used the actual phone charger and charged for 7 hours like recommended and they charged to full fine on the phone charger so not to sure about charging AAA with it. I like the fact that I can take it with me in the car and use the 12v system. My camera seems to be a battery hog so it will come in handy when I take a trip.Update. Cheap Motorola MJ270R 22-Channel 27-Mile Two-Way Radios

We live on 23 acres and use these almost every day to stay in touch while I am in the barn, hills etc. They work fine from inside a metal building to inside the house about 500 feet away. Actually they work from anywhere on the property. I tried them from down the road about 1/2 mile away, on the other side of a hill. Could hear the paging sound but we could not understand each other. I like the LED light, it is actually bright enough to be useful at night. Battery life is good, an over night charge lasts all day and then some.
Do not plug the headset when the radio is on. If you do that, then the radio immediately starts transmitting and does not stop no matter what you do until the head set is unplugged.
To use the headset, turn off the radio, plug in the headset, open the radio. When you do that it goes into VOX mode, it will start transmitting in about one second of your speaking. If you press PTT button, the VOX will be cancelled, and if you want to enable VOX again just turn off and on the radio.
1 Star reduction for the distance claim. While I was not naive enough to believe I would easily get 27 miles, I'm lucky if I'm getting over 2 miles around where I live. I've tested it a few different ways but the range can easily be reduced to a significant extent. Having known that would be an issue going into the purchase, it works great for almost all the uses we had intended it for that didn't involve moderate distance.
The LED is a nice feature, although we haven't had need of it, it has come in handy once or twice. The unit is easy enough for a 3 year old to understand it's basic use and all the features have worked as expected. The charge so far has held up well and we've used it infrequently for about 8 months. If you have neighborhood friends/babysitters/kid's friends then it works great as a replacement to a cell phone. Although our kids are not old enough for a cellphone, it's definitely an alternative.
I tested the range. It's about 2 miles in the city.
If we ever need another set of radios I'm definately buying Motorola ones again.

I purchased this with Motorola Earpiece with Boom Microphone. I couldn't first make them work together but the manual has an important detail:Do not plug the headset when the radio is on. Honest reviews on Motorola MJ270R 22-Channel 27-Mile Two-Way Radios
The one big issue I have with the radios is the battery. The battery does not hold a charge for very long. I finally gave up and pulled it out to replace it with rechargeable AA batteries (3) That worked fine. The sound quality is OK at best. These were used for a cross country road trip and we had areas of limited coverage and areas of ok coverage. We were never more than a mile away from each other. I probably would NOT buy these again.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Motorola MJ270R 22-Channel 27-Mile Two-Way Radios
I used these on a road trip with 7 other cars. They worked great. I could hear everyone in the group and everyone else could hear us nice and clear. I had a set of Cobra radios the batteries only last about 3 hours and were dead. The Motorola radios only used 1 bar on the battery level and that was after a 6 hour drive and chatting almost the whole time.I tested the range. It's about 2 miles in the city.
If we ever need another set of radios I'm definately buying Motorola ones again.

I love this charger! It is compact and fits nicely into my glove compartment. The best feature is the retractable wire. I don't worry about it getting tangled and fighting with it to attach to my phone for a charge. Worth every penny!!!!
It charges my phone in good time, works great and is tangle free. I love tangle free.

Mediabridge High Output Dual USB Car Charger For iPad and iPhone Review
Although I would've liked this product a little more if the amperage for BOTH ports were 2.1, this product is the best car USB car charger out there in my opinion (as of 5/13/2012). High output, and two ports instead of perma-mounted cables, which gives you options for what kind of USB to use (mini, micro, etc). Although I don't own any devices that would require 2.1 amps (such as the iPad), the high amperage allows my phone to charge faster than even the one wall charger that the phone originally came with, WHICH, by the way, isn't the case ALL the time, but it is for me (Motorola Razr Maxx). No, I don't know what the max amperage my phone pulls, but the high amperage shaves about an hour (from four hours) off a full charge. It depends on the device and how much its allowed to pull from the charger. For those people who are worried whether or not the charger is too "powerful," it's probably not, if it's a USB device you're trying to use. While the VOLTAGE (which will always be 5V ±5%, hopefully) is sent by the charger to the device, the AMOUNT of power is PULLED by the device itself. Think of drinking water. You're going to drink as much as you NEED, regardless of how much water is available.
Edit (2/9/2013): So, after some use, this charger seems to have broken :-( I was pretty excited about this product in the beginning, as very few car chargers have such high amperage on top of multiple ports. However, it broke. With moderate use, it stopped functioning as it should in about 2 months. A bit late on the update, but I was reminded of this product by another review I was writing. So, my initial rave review is now down. I don't know if this is the case for all of these, or if I just received a lemon, but there you go with my experience with this product. All that stuff I said about how this stuff works is still correct, though, so I'd advise anyone looking for a charger keep that in mind.
The packaging was very well done, simple enough instructions, and is a nice tight fit in the holder. Not sloppy at all and stays put. I also like how well they marked the two ports for 2.1 and 1.0. Very easy to see and read. The pictures that another reviewer posted are exactly the way mine arrived also. I was very impressed with the packaging.
Pros... you just read them :)
negatives: none
I plan on buying a couple more.. one for my personal vehicle, and one to keep with the laptop, and a couple of guys at work like it well enough to order one for themselves. I highly recommend this. You won't disappointed
Long story short: This device will not charge an Android device in AC power mode. As soon as you plug it in, the Android device enables USB charging mode.
I'm hoping that I can figure out a way to crack the unit open and short the middle pins (which forces AC charging mode for Android devices on other car chargers)...
I'm giving it two stars for excellent build quality and packaging.
Update: I figured out how to disassemble the unit and it turns out to be quite easy.
The high build quality of this unit actually enhances it's ability to be disassembled, modified and reassembled. You can do it all with a single flat-bladed screwdriver (and a soldering iron). Resassembly doesn't require any superglue like some of the other units that are popular to mod.
Once the unit was disassembled, I looked on the back of the circuit board and found 2 places where there were 4 small pins in a row. I put a small blob of solder across the middle pins on each of them and reassembled the whole unit.
I went out to the car to test it and sure enough, all my android devices see it as an AC charger and start charging in high-speed mode.
I will add one star to my rating due to the excellent build quality enabling an easy modification.
Be careful, even though many dual USB charging devices (both car and electric) say they can charge multiple devices at the same time, it usually doesn't charge the i-device at FULL speed. Make sure the device provides at least 3.0 amps total output...most will just provide 2.1 amp total, so if two items are charging at the same time they each only get 1 amp.
I have been using it for several weeks now and I'm very happy with this purchase. Have used with iPhone 4s and iPad (3rd Gen) connected at the same time and the charger works great.
In addition, the adapter seems to be very high quality. Sturdy plastic and spring loaded steel pins. I was also happy to see that the adapter is smaller than it appears in the photos. Very reasonable size for the specs.
I wouldn't trade this charger for any other charger on the market regardless of brand or price. Highly recommended.

This is a little bulky, and I knew this when I bought it. Altho it is a little smaller than I thought it would, which is good. I bought it to be used in my work vehicle where I need power.. plenty of it. I charge specialized meters for testing communications cables, use an iPad out in the field along with a Kindle Fire, iPhone, and other things that can be charged thru usb. This works flawlessly with everything i've thrown at it, and a couple of techs are looking into getting one for their work vehicle also. This charger almost always has something plugged into it to be charged up, if not two things at once, and this does not let me down. Easily 80% of the work day it is being used to charge at least one thing, if not two.The packaging was very well done, simple enough instructions, and is a nice tight fit in the holder. Based on the reviews and product description of this device, I was lead to believe that it would charge an Android phone at full AC power mode (not USB 0.5amp mode). Based on that information I ordered several of these for a medium-scale deployment of devices at my work.Long story short: This device will not charge an Android device in AC power mode. Honest reviews on Mediabridge High Output Dual USB Car Charger For iPad and iPhone
Works as described. Can fully charge iPad (2.1 amp) at the fast speed (3 min/%) while also charging my cell phone (.9 amp). Apple devices are finicky; you have to plug in both cords, then connect to the iPad for 5 min to charge and only then connect to the other device. Otherwise the iPad stops charging. But when it is hooked up properly, it does both at full charge.Be careful, even though many dual USB charging devices (both car and electric) say they can charge multiple devices at the same time, it usually doesn't charge the i-device at FULL speed. Buy Elk ELK-1280 12V 8Ah Sealed Lead Acid Battery
First, the shipping packaging is a joke, and I'm not even sure if it's legal. They shipped me my lead-acid battery in a usps bubble envelope. Yes, you read that correctly, the put a ~5lb lead acid battery in nothing more than a bubble envelope. As a result, one of the terminals was bent and required straightening.
Not that straightening the terminal mattered, because this battery (not an Elk-branded product as you might have expected based on the product title) had terminals that were too large to fit the wires in my ELK M1 system.
I've uploaded pictures so you can see the non-ELK branding, the odd-sized terminals and the poor packaging. If you have an ELK M1 system and are looking to replace an old battery, stay away from this product and seller.
The seller has not returned calls or emails. We are going to have to recycle the battery and purchase another battery elsewhere. A waste of money and time.

We ordered this because our security alarm battery needed to be replaced. The battery actually says to replace every 3-5 years. The ELK we were replacing was dated 1/07.(We mark them with a Sharpie so we know when to replace them)This battery lasted 4 years and 7 months. Anyway three days after we installed the new battery, Irene came through and we lost power for a whole week. The battery backup worked alost the whole week, but we thought for sure we'd have to buy another because it had probably been fully discharged. Amazingly, it recharged when the electricity came back! I would not recommend this product unless you are absolutely sure the connectors will fit your need. If the connector on an Elk battery you are replacing is more narrow at the tip and flares wider at the base, this is not the battery for you. The connector on this item is uniform in width from base to tip.The seller has not returned calls or emails. We are going to have to recycle the battery and purchase another battery elsewhere. Not much to say about it, as it works like it should! My husband had lost the charger he had and I found & ordered this. No problems with delivery or packaging!Exactly as described. It worked perfectly out of the box. Hopefully it will continue to do so over time. Great value when compared with similar chargers.

Discount Rapid Car Power Charger Adapter With IC Chip + Wrist Strap
I was skeptical this wouldn't work without having to buy something else, but it does. We have an '07 Hyundai Entourage with the original factory entertainment system. I plugged the charger in to the powerlet in the back seat, then connected to the WII console, then plugged in the audio/video cables (you can use the wii cables but I bought an extra set so i wouldn't have to unplug from our TV) and we were playing in no time.
Strangely enough, the IR Sensor on the car's system picks up the Wii Remote's signal, so you can point and use the Wii remote WITHOUT having the WII Sensor bar. I don't know how it works, but it does in our car.
We're going on a 18 hour roadtrip with four kids, so this is a nice to have for them.

We got this when we took a trip to Florida. We own a conversion van with a tv and we wanted to keep the kids occupied for the trip of 20 hours. This adapter made it possible to power up their Wii and play it in the vehicle it worked great. It ran the game as well as the ac adapter that came with the unit with no power problems at all I highly recommend this product.Honest reviews on Rapid Car Power Charger Adapter With IC Chip + Wrist Strap

I recently fractured my wrist in 4 places which ended up requiring 3 surgeries...one of which included inserting a metal plate. During the winter the plate got so cold it was nearly unbearable to stand which limited my mobility. That was until I purchased this heat wrap. It provided me with enough warmth to my wrist which in turn enabled me to be pain free as well as made my wrist more mobile. Due to complications the plate then had to be removed and arthritis set in quickly. Thankfully, I had the heat wrap as it continues to help me get thru the cold and the increasing stiffness.

The PLMCA90 1200 Watts Amp and 4 Speaker system is my third Pyle motocycle stereo purchase. For the price you can't beat this excellent 4 speaker system. I Have all 4 speakers mounted to the handelbars and at 65 mph (I Have a Windshield) the sound is crisp and clear. The USB charger is a plus and charges my Ipod Nano with no problems. Installation is streight forward taking about 2 to 3 hours. Everything you need is included. I do recommend using in-line fuses and heat shrink wrapping your connections especially the Male/Female connection between the amp and speakers for extra protection against the elements. I've installed an older Pyle 2 speaker system on my friends bike 2 years ago. After seeing and hearing my new system it looks like I'll be installing another Pyle PLMCA90 4 Speaker system on his bike too. Keep up the good work making Affordable/Quality products.
UPDATE
now 18 months later and still loving this system get LOTS of comments about how good it sounds and looks people don't even notice the amp that is in plain site lol the only problem is the volume control has never really "broken in" it is still very touchy but a minor gripe for a system that cost a fraction of what other systems cost that it blows away.
NEW UPDATE riding back home from dinner & bike night, one of my speaker brackets just snapped ( NO reason at all no bumps in the road NOTHING ) and when I went to turn left the speaker was between the tank and the triple tree causing me to be unable to turn left and almost got us KILLED.
SO BE AWARE of these "Z" brackets and MAKE SURE IF YOU USE THE "Z" BRACKETS TO HAVE A ZIP TIE ON THE WIRE CLOSE TO THE MOUNT SO IF IT SNAPS THE ZIP TIE WILL HOLD YOUR SPEAKER UP OUT OF THE WAY.
and the volume control has only gotten worse so I am dropping my review to 2 stars still sounds good enough but when you can't control the sound and a speaker almost kills you it is hard to love it.
So onto the stereo the contents were well ackaged and protected. The instructions were somewhat lacking, but installation is rather simple, and I had previously installed a Shark 250 W on another bike I had. The stereo and wiring is plug and play. I put this stereo on my 2002 HD Road King, the T Tap went in perfectly into the harnes located under the seat but on top of the fender. Mounting the speakers was easy -I don't have a fairingI put a speaker on either side of my Tac using the P clamps and one under each mirror. All the wiring I ran through the Nicel and under the console above the tank.
Here is where the problems began, there was not sufficient length to run from the handle bars to the wiring harness out of the amp, which I mounted in the compartment under the front part of the seat. On top of that the harness made for a bad connection to the speakers so the sound was junk. To fix this I clipped off the harnesses and direct attached the wires to each other, and also added some length to the wires by patching in additional wires, still sounds like junk. Then I realized that both my USB charger and volume control disc had frayed wires. Again I did some patch work, and wow man did the stereo sound awesome! It's clear as a bell over the pipes, not an issue. The wire, connectors and heat shrink came to about 30$ at Canadian Tire (but if you're American, remember that we pay double to triple on what you guys pay).
Overall, the speakers blend seamlessly into the look of the bike. The amp and wiring was very easy to conceal, as the amp is quite small and there are plenty off nooks and crannies on the bike. My only gripe style wise, are the USB charger, which is big, bulky and difficult to conceal on the handle bars. Also, the volume control knob is poorly designed and only moderately concealable on the handle bars. If PYLE and SHARK paired up, they would probably be putting out the best and loudest stereo at this price point. But I have to say that I enjoy the Pyle stereo over the Shark.
It took under an hour to install the stereo on the bike, but several more hours to make the necessary repairs, so I could use it while I await replacement parts.
Hope this helps

Ok, seeing as Michael never replied to me I bought this system anyways to find out for myself how good it is and I am GLAD I DID it ROCKS. I would like a bit more bass ( if the speakers are mounted to a trunk they do produce more bass than on the bars ) but for the money you are not going to beat this setup. Installation is up to you, everything it pretty much plug and play, the only "problem" I have with it is the included volume control it TOUCHY sometime it will gradually adjust the sound and sometimes it goes to the extreme ( either up all the way or down ) really a minor gripe though as this system BLOWS AWAY the other shark systems I had ( pretty much all that were worth buying ) The PLMCA90 ROCKS plain and simple, have been running 70mph and can still hear it and understand what is playing even through the wind. STILL loving this system months later, even added two more speakers on the trunk for the passenger to get "direct sound" and I have two speakers mounted to the bar and two mounted to the forks for the front sound and it ROCKS, running 80+ on the interstate and STILL ABLE TO HEAR MY TUNES !!!UPDATE

I ordered this direct from Amazon on a Friday, the stereo arrived only a few days later -surprising as I live in Canada and it normally takes a while I did have some issues with the item but Amazon handled the issue quickly and better than I could have imagined. Customer Service was so amazing I wondered why every retailer couldn't be this good! So rest assured that if you have issues, Amazon will look after you.So onto the stereo the contents were well ackaged and protected. Bought the Pyle system after reading several reviews on a lot of system. Loved the cost for the quality of product. It's loud enough to hear over the custom loud pipes and the sound is very clear. Fairly easy to install, big PLUS! Very happy with this purchase!Tuesday, March 18, 2014

I own a car shop and the item is robust, and its capabilities described are the same as the ones the item has, maybe the only disadvantage is the union between the cables which will be better if they where more compact. also no where to stand by the clamps and the cableGreat Product, I am very pleased with the quality of this product.
