I like the fact that the electrical prongs can be folded for easy carrying,

and the removeable USB cord, gives it a small footprint.

My husband and I have tried both, charging my daughter's Zune with the A/C plug and USB cable as well as with only the USB cable to charge through our brand new Gateway computer tower. This item is not working. I tend to believe there may be a short in the USB cable considering the fact that the Zune software program states that "no device is connected" along with the fact that my automatic settings on my computer never picked up on the device being plugged in. My daughter's Zune is almost brand new. She's had the device stored away in a safe place until bringing it to me. Beyond that I can say the seller was prompt on shipping.

Honestly there's not too much to review on this charger. But I'll set up a pro/con anyway.

Pros:

1. Works as it should.

2. Blades fold in so they wont break or get crushed.

3. Cord disconnects from charger and is a standard 2.0 usb.

After reading great reviews of this on Outdoorgearlab, I bought this for a long bike trip I went on. The size and weight is excellent but it just didn't work reliably. I left it out in the direct sun on multiple attempts to charge. Although this should have charged my phone to full, I could only get 50% or less.

One of the problems is that there isn't enough feedback about the charge state of the battery. There is only one LED on the unit and their instruction manual says it turns from red to green when the battery gets 80% charged. You never really know how much charge is in there. Also, on a few occasions I charged it to green, took it out of the sun, then set it out to keep charging and it started over from red.

It did give my phone partial charges, so if you just need something to casually top off your phone while at the beach, it probably would work fine for you. However, for long trips where there is no access to electricity, reliability and consistency is important. I eventually returned this product. For my next trip, I'll probably try a more expensive panel from a different brand.

it may not be as effective as one of the more expensive ones but I have no complaints. Have used it on several occasions and it charges slow but who cares.

I use my Mercury 4S to charge my GoPro when I go backpacking. I leave the charger in the sun all day at camp while I'm out exploring, and charge up my camera at night. The Mercury 4S will fully charge my GoPro with an empty battery and even has some juice to spare. The charger is well made, easy to use, and super lightweight. The corner grommets make it very easy to attach to a backpack to charge up on the go.

One piece of advice, charge up your Mercury 4S before you leave on a trip. The battery takes about 4 hours to charge, so juicing up before an adventure makes sure you've got power when you need it. Be aware that weather conditions will effect performance. Cloudy conditions mean longer charge up times, but that is to be expected.

I highly recommend this item for anyone who needs to charge up their USB-powered mobile devices (phones, cameras, etc.) on the go. As long as you plan ahead, you'll have a charge whenever you need it.

Have only owned the product for a month, but am completely satisfied.

Does everything I would have expected. I collect motorcycles and never remove the batteries. I'm too lazy to move a charger from bike to bike. I've plugged in most of the bikes plus a car that I seldom use in the winter and leave them on. No worries.

Only negative I've found is the leads from the charger to the battery are only 6 feet long. If you require more, you need to purchase a 25 foot extension. 31 feet is much more than I need. Wish I could purchase leads of 10 to 15 feet long.

I live on a small farm and have many pieces of equipment that have batteries. I was able to remove the batteries and place them on a work bench and charge 10 of them at one time. Plus this unit will keep them at peak level until spring arrives.

Have charged many groups of batteries and everything has worked as advertised. However note that if you battery is dead this charger will not start charging unless it senses 3 volts (safety interlock feature to protect against loose cable ends shorting) so you will need to connect another battery or get it started with another type charger first.

I absolutely love this charger. It charges really fast and conveniently. All you have to do is plug it into the wall and leave it to charge. It is so much nicer than the USB charger where you have to leave your computer on for 8 hours to let it charge. Cheap Premium Vehicle Power Charger for Samsung VGA1000, A680, A740, A760

This items was shipped 20 days after the order was placed.

This item is advertised as compatible with LG PM325 however as packaged, the connecter does not insert all the way into the phone. There are no instructions included with the device. Fortunately, I figured out that there was a small plastic sleeve that could easily be removed from the part that fits into the phone to allow the connector to go all the way in.

So far the device works fine.

I bought this with the slim travel charger, and both have the same problem. Previous reviewer didn't indicate that they had problems with it, so maybe I'm the problem. I'm a fairly savvy electronics user, and I don't see how I could be screwing up the process of -plug the charger into working DC jack, plug charger into phone-.

Yes, as noted in previous review, I slipped the piece of plastic off, the charger plugs all the way into the phone.

When the charger is only plugged into the DC jack in my car, the LED shows a steady green, but when the other end is plugged into my phone to charge it, the LED blinks red. I'm assuming that's a power issue.

The product tends to get the job done more or less, but tends to be glitchy, as does the Zen itself. Sometimes when you plug it in or pull it out while the Zen is playing, the zen will freeze or shut off. But overall this product tends to get the job done if you learn how to work it.

You use to be able to get this stuff at any parts store, but not anymore. I guess they're trying to sell new batteries. I've saved a number of batteries over the years and with this purchase saved a $90 motorcycle battery in about 10 minutes and an overnight charge. This stuff works, period.

This stuff really works. It will extend the life of the battery by dissolving the sulfate build-up in your battery. The build-up of sulfation is the number one cause of battery failure. I used this in the past when it sold under the brand name VX-6 which is no longer sold. It works in lead acid batteries that can be re-filled. Naturally, you cannot use it in a 'sealed' battery. This is excellent stuff to totally clean the sulfation from the battery terminals too.

This will NOT save a dead battery. I highly recommend this product. My only regret is that I did not buy the one quart size. The 2.5 oz. size is good for only one battery. It cost slightly more but you get over twelves times the amount.

I purchased this stuff 10 years ago and put it in my wifes Suburban battery. The battery was a bottom of the line 2 year battery. I saw this sitting on the shelf and thought what the heck, for less than $3 (at the time) I can afford to give it a shot. The same battery still starts that Suburban even in freezing weather! Without a doubt, it is the best $3 I ever spent on a vehicle. I am about to buy a bottle to put in my Goldwing battery. Based on experience I anticipate the battery lasting at least 5 years. I bought a used car in Sept 2009 and during the winter/spring of 2010, I had trouble with the battery holding a charge. I recharged the battery many times during that period trying different methods to rejuvenate the battery until it would only hold a charge for a few days at best. I decided to just invest in a new battery when a friend told me about a battery additive he heard about many years ago. He didn't remember the product name so I searched the web and found this product on amazon. I decided to take one more shot to save the battery and ordered this product in May 2010. I added it to the battery and recharged the battery. The battery held the charge this time but I wanted to wait some time before declaring it a success. As of today, my battery is still going strong and I've had no dead battery situations since adding the Charge-It product. This product worked great for me.

If you have any of the Goal Zero Solar Panels you will need this controller to charge any 12 Volt batteries that are NOT built by Goal Zero (per the "NONE-Goal Zero Batteries" in the subject title). The 12 Volt Battery list includes: Home/Business Security backup batteries; Basement Watchdog (sump pump) batteries; AGM Batteries; Flooded batteries, etc.

Note that the maximum input wattage (from the banked Solar Panels) to this charger is really 90 Watts and not the 150 watts that is misprinted on some Goal Zero brochures. This means that, for example, the controller can handle three (3) Goal Zero 22003 Escape 30M Solar Panel Briefcase at one time. My review on the Panel Briefcase (and other Goal Zero products) is found elsewhere on these Amazon pages. (As a side note, Before knowing about the printing error, I have successfully charged batteries using four Briefcase Solar Panels without any problems, but do not recommend doing so for an extended period of time.)

I use this with 2 Boulder 30 panels and a 12V Interstate battery. After a summer of trying to keep this battery topped off for camping I have decided it doesn't work and doesn't do what it says it is supposed to. The more I read the product information from GoalZero and reviews I think the whole produce line seems to be fabricated on specifications that fuzzy to put it nicely. BUYER BEWARE!! I'll be looking for alternatives over the winter.

The Android charger appears to be a nice one, however, I do not have an Android phone! As indicated on this survey questionnaire, I ordered a "Nokia E5" car charger. The charger sent to me said "Android," and the approx. 1/4" wide end of it DOES NOT fit my phone, which has a tiny hole in the head of it. My phone accepts the "pinhead/needlehead" type charger for E5s. I would like to return the unopened charger in exchange for the correct one!

I"ve had a couple of these for over 7 months & came back to write this review because I've been so pleased. It's small, very light weight for a battery & best of all it charges the phone, so you don't have to have it attached all the time... once the charge goes from the battery to the phone, just disconnect it & your back to a fully charged phone.

I travel in exotic places that may or may not have access to power for a few days... with these little puppies I can charge my phone fully overnight without a power outlet anywhere near. (No it doesn't take overnight to charge the phone -it's actually very quick to transfer the power -but it's handy to do overnight just like an outlet if you don't have power available.)

You can also use it as a power adapter to charge the iphone -just put the battery on the phone, plug it in & it charges both the phone & the battery. Handy to not have to carry a separate charger.

It's also got prongs that fold in and a very spiffy reel on the cord of the charger. These things matter when you're traveling.

Some reviewers mention that it doesn't work with older iPhone... well, no, it doesn't & that's pretty clearly stated above. Hardly a reason to give a bad review -it's like complaining that your car doesn't fly very well.
