Purchased this as a replacement for the battery in my son's Razor Dune Buggy. The battery is slightly wider than the original so it required a minor modification to the battery hold-down bracket used on the go-kart.

I got these batteries for a razor e300 after installing they worked but I come to find out the razor had other issues. I can't say for sure if they hold charge or anything more except that they did charge up and when tested on another device(not a scooter) they powered it up.

They did get here quickly and the order was expedited quickly as well. I was even surprised they got here the day they did because it was during hurricane sandy so kudos to your company for sending it out quickly and to the post office for delivering it.

I've been using this charger for about two years now, I bought it when I bought my Sony ebooks, it works well with b0th the 505 and the 700. I've used it in the US and Europe without problems. There are better ebooks out there now see the Kindle but I recommend the charger.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program None of these cheap inverters produce a nice AC waveform. They tend to produce square waves, and this device even says that it has a "non-sinusoidal" waveform. This can actually damage some electronics. Be sure to read the owners manual.

They really hampered this by not putting at least 2 USB ports on it, as some cars have only 1 12v outlet up front by the driver, so if I need to plug in two cell phones to charge, this doesn't help me unless I use the AC adapter for one of them. I had some odd behavior with the AC port as well, my touch screen wouldn't respond on my phone when it was plugged into the AC port. Probably related to the poor AC waveform. Powering my small devices it is cool and quiet. It didn't get warm or anything.

This is the second unit I purchased. One from Walmart & one from Amazon. The two units did not power 3 different laptop ac chargers, 2 smart phone chargers. I called Duracell and they said I would need to contact Duracell Direct which is actually a third party vender. Duracell Direct said I would need to pay for return shipping if I want a replacement. So I just returned to Amazon & Walmart & got my money back. I purchased these with good faith. What a disappointment. And time wasted. I have 2 other power inverters and they have been working for years with no problems. I would stay away from this product. I see that other reviewers liked the unit. I guess I have no luck to get stuck with 2 DOA units.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program We go camping a lot, and we like to take our iphones and ipads. This is state park camping, not serious camping. Normally we don't have power on camp outs so we charge iphones in the car, etc. but that's a time consuming thing. This adapter plugs into your car's power port (once called a cigarette lighter) and gives you both a usb and a regular 3 prong ac port (like you have at home). We were able to charge the iphone via the usb port and the ipad via the power port with no problem. The device gets a little warm but it has vents to expel the hear. Also, it's very rugged and sturdy and has a user replaceable fuse. It also says it has an auto power shutoff in case of a surge.

We also recently used this at the drive in movies to power a boombox, worked like a charm. I would be careful about using it without the car running as it might drain your battery but we didn't run into problems.

The usefulness of the inverter are clear: it saves you from needing an adapter for each one of your electronic devices that you want to use in the car -it's one stop shopping. Anything with a two or three-prong plug can plug into it.

The inverter is small enough that it can easily fit into a glove box (taking up about as much space as a GPS) or into your computer bag.

During use I didn't notice anything unusual about the operation. Despite the fan it runs pretty quietly.

My one complaint is that the chord that goes into the cigarette lighter is so short that the inverter cannot reach the back seat or rear of the car. That means passengers are dependent on the people in the front of the car to plug and unplug devices. I took off one star for that.

I've spent a lot of time trying to locate a car charger that has a short or retractable cord so that I don't have my regular length cord dragging all over the car. I thought this retractable cord device would be great! BUT...the connection to the iPhone is shorter than the standard plug so if you have a bumper or other cover that the plug has to fit with, it's too short to get it into the phone to make a live connection. It powers my Iphone4 just fine. I like that I can have the excess cord rolled up!!! A Negative would be that the Plug is a bit large and so doesn't fit into my Iphone 4 Bumper. I have to take the Bumper OFF. Then again, to fit my Iphone 4 into my RAM mount, which the Iphone 3gs RAM mount does work with the Iphone 4, though there will be a Iphone 4 version released in a couple weeks hopefully, but will have the same problem of not working with a case on it, which includes the Bumper. So I have to take it off anyway when it's in the RAM Mount anyway. Wear and tear on my Bumper having to come on/off could be a issue later, kind of a hassle, but what can I do. The other Negative I think is the cable/wire is really THIN!!! Hoe good it holds up who knows. I don't let it roll back up and then later pull it out. No need to. I think it would wear out quickly doing that. The cable stays locked into the length that I need it. Pop my Iphone 4 into the Ram Mount, then this Power Adapter to that. I'll see about getting a picture of my setup posted. Then I use Navigon for my GPS Navigation. I really like all of it's features. Also I use Trapster. Check them out.

I will start out with reason why I purchased this one:

My 2006 Magnatec Parallax 500 series converter that was installed in my RV had failed to charge the batteries. I researched and find that its reliability is very poor approximately between 3 to 8 years. Further more, it is a "dumb" charger, because it will keep charging approx 13.5 volts and not shut off very well. It wont desulfate the batteries either. As such your batteries will be boiled over if you don't keep a small load on it. I could not even upgrade this converter because there is nothing out there that can easily swap out converter section. I took off the converter section and drilled out the rivets from the cover and find that there is sticker that says "made in china" on the board and various parts. It is basically very simple non microprocessor controlled charger with two large heat sinks and capacitors.

I wanted smart charger and I researched and found this one Progressive Dynamics Intellipower charger with smart charger wizard computer built in. It had good reputation and and reasonable price so I bit the bullet and bought it along with remote pendant.

Package arrived 5 days after order. When I opened the shipping carton, I found that its just wrapped in a plastic bubble wrap. No retail packaging. It is definitely for OEM installers not retail. What I mean by that is that when the factory ships components (in bulk) to RV manufacturers for installing on RV's before being delivered to customers, they do not include pendants or other hardware items or even put into a nice retail packages. Retail version of this is what you as customers see on store shelves, they include pendant as part of the retail version so keep that in mind when you shop through Amazon and your local RV parts store. In my case, thankfully I had a set of instructions included inside the shipping carton but its minimal at best. Since the new charger had 3 prongs 120V plug at end, that was complete surprise to me since I expected to hardwired charger to 120V circuit just like any other charger.

I removed the guts of the charger converter and threw in the trash and put the metal "shell" of the converter back into the power distribution panel because I need to reuse the DC fuse holder panel back on. I ran new romex wire from the back of power distributor to the front of the RV where the batteries were at. I put in 120VAC outlet for the charger plug to plug in. I observed correct wiring polarity of the new outlet (black wire to short prong hole (brass screw), white wire to wider prong hole (silver screw) and ground to ground terminal). The power is fed from circuit breaker that was used to power the old charger.

I mounted the new charger next to the battery compartment (not inside) with self tapping metal screws into steel plates. I ran 2 foot long #6 cable from battery shut off switch to the positive leg of charger. I ran 2 foot long #6 cable from other leg to the main 30 Amp 12VDC circuit breakers. In other words, I installed it in between the battery cut off switch and the main 12VDC circuit breakers. Finally, I ran a short #6 black cable from negative to the chassis ground since my batteries negative posts are grounded to chassis already. The charger positive and negative DC lugs requires allen wrench (not phillips or slot screws) to secure the cables a testament to thoughtful design of this charger. The charger housing is grounded and I didn't need to run ground cable from the ground lug to chassis because I had three metal mounting screws that mount the charger to steel plate (its part of RV chassis). If you going to mount this on wood, you need to run ground wire from the ground lug to metal chassis for safety reason.

Now, you might be wondering why I didn't just put this new charger in place of old charger, I could do that but for the best and fastest charging efficiency, you want to locate the charger close to the battery as much as possible and keep the battery cables short as possible so that generator does not have to spend more time charging up the batteries when you do camp out without hook ups. 2ndly, its much easier for me to keep the new charger cool and service it if I locate it in storage compartment if need to than if I had it locate it in old spot next to propane furnace which can keep it too warm.

The remote pendant is plugged in to the charger, it looks like a telephone jack but little narrower than standard jack. The wiring length is about 6 feet long much too short for my needs. I will have to take old telephone wire and splice in longer wire in place so that I can mount the remote pendant on the battery monitor panel. I have not done that yet so I can't comment on this one yet.

The new battery charger works well. And it is quite heavy and best of all, its an American made. Here is the instructions: %20english%20manual.pdf

Works perfectly and will extend life of all my electronics and expensive batteries. Heres the info on making a Charge Wizard Pendant remote extension cord if you have to mount it further away than the 5ft cord on pendant allows. The connector on the pendant they use is an rj9 4p4c type modular connector. Its used for telephone HANDSETS, not the cord that goes from phone to wall. The wall type modular connector is an rj11/rj12 6p4c which is wider. You can buy the rj9 4p4c connector, cut ends off standard phone extension cord, cut to needed length, crimp new rj9 connecrors on, and buy an rj6 handset cord coupler to connect pendant cord to extension cord. Done and done correctly!!! Or you can just use something like a 25ft curly handset replacement cord and coupler. Your choice!

I bought my camper new in 2005 in 2008, I replaced the original WFCO 9855 with another WFCO 9855 A friend in a local RV shop tried to get me to use PD unit, but I stubbornly stuck with the WFCO the WFCO has had a tendency to 'cook' my batteries it may not be the WFCO's fault for two reasons one, I don't check them as often as I should and secondly, I have a long power line from the converter to the battery (about 15 feet) I think it's #6, but it may not be large enough for the converter to correctly interpret the battery's condition -

This time when the WFCO started acting up, I decided to try the PD unit and so far I like it the install was a bit tricky as space was cramped, but the unit fit with some wire rerouting connecting the two wires and plugging it in was a breeze -

It's not in an easy access location, but I left the optional pendant connected for a while and the unit seemed to be cycling properly in spite of being 'cooked' once by the WFCO, the battery appears to be working fine I'm thinking the cycling on the PD unit has actually helped the battery back to a decent condition after a couple weeks, I removed the pendant and put the breaker panel back together -

The WFCO was a 55 amp unit and I replaced it with a 60 amp I have had two deep cycle batteries, so I thought it would be smart to increase the size slightly in case I add another battery these days, I haven't parked anywhere that I haven't had at least a 110V 15A circuit available for battery charging so I haven't bothered adding the second battery -

The real issue is how this unit performs over time so far, so good -

I bought this specifically because it's touted as being able to charge an iPad. I've tested it now for over 6 months with iPhone, iPad, and (with adapter) AA camera batteries at several latitudes (Phoenix to Seattle) and over several seasons (summer-winter). It's performance far surpasses that of a MUCH more expensive 10w B*u*t*n model purchased at REI a year or 2 ago that I returned due to worthlessness.

As you'd expect, it works better in the summer in AZ and at higher altitude than in the fall & winter in WA & OR. Solar cells need strong sun to work well, period. It easy charges an iPhone about as fast as wall outlet in strong sun (45-80 min.). iPad performance is OK, not stellar, it does work but plan to set aside most of the afternoon (4-5+ hours in strong sun). I've really never achieved a full, 100% iPad charge but it did keep me going for extended Kindle reading at remote campsites. I have had success charging on the car dash as well.

Chinese solar cells have come a long way in price & performance in the last year or so. BTW, this model has increased 20% in price in the last few months, and I would still give it 4 stars at the higher price. It's a bit too heavy for extended backpacking (maybe on an overnighter it'd be OK, but I'd think twice before humping this brick on a long trail). The sleeve has a very handy pocket for the battery, cables and adapters, and the loops make it a cinch to hang from a tree, etc.

Summary: Well worth the purchase price, I'll give a solar panel 5 stars when it works as well as an outlet.

The solar panel is impressive and the battery is effective. However, the battery is described as 5600mAh when it is really 5200mAh, a different product. The battery's output is 1amp which is not effective for charging an iPad 3 or 4. The panel will charge the iPad 3 directly, however, in direct sun. When charging an iPad 3 directly, if a cloud passes by, the charging will be interrupted. Instapark sells a 6000mAh, 2amp battery.

I used this to keep my iphone charged while doing my two weeks of military training this past month. It worked great charging as if it were plugged into the wall (lots of good sun). I would plug in my phone first thing in the morning, and in a couple of hours while eating breakfast and getting ready for the day of training my phone was at 100%.

There were two days out of the two weeks we had rainy overcast weather. I used the 5200mha battery on those days and I was never without power. If I used the battery, I would charge both the phone and the battery the next day simultaneously. The phone still charged quickly while charging the battery as well.

Even in slight overcast, this would continue to charge my iPhone 4S quickly. Great for emergencies or hiking/camping.

First of all, if you are looking at this panel, make sure you get it with the battery pack.

The panel charged the battery quickly even with partial cloud cover which is extremely important. Fully charged, the battery pack recharged my Galaxy S3 twice and my Kindle Paper White twice as well; and it still had power left. When using both USB ports on the panel, charging is a about 1/3 longer, but, that still only took a couple hours (probably less, but I had more things to do than just watch the charge level on the devices).

Obviously, this isn't designed for larger devices, but it works great for our phones, kindles, and garmin.

Small enough to easily pack in a backpack or strap to the outside of a pack or tent, this is one addition to our gear that is already indispensable.

This product appears to be a genuine original equipment Blackberry car charger. It has the Blackberry name and logo on it. The plate on the bottom of the cigarette lighter plug of the unit states that the electric output is 5 volts, 500mA (500 milliamperes or .5 ampere). The plate on the wall charger packaged with a new Blackberry 8800 states that the wall charger output is 5 volts, .75 ampere. Thus, it appears that the car charger produces two thirds the electrical charge produced by the wall charger (.5 vs. .75 amp.)

This car charger is used with a Blackberry 8800 and has performed admirably and without any problems. It costs a fraction of the price charged by AT&T ($29.99), apparently for the same product.

If you look carefully, this charger fits nearly every Briggs and Stratton and Generac portable generator out there. A bit pricy for what it is, but when it comes to charging my generator's battery, a little piece of mind doesn't hurt. Would recommend to friends and family.

It was shipped well before the estimated date which was nice. Apart from that, it works fine. Plug into your charger and voila! Although two improvements could be made: Retractable cable, on/off button on the plug (my car does not shutdown power on the charger when it is turned off).

One important thing is this thing does not check the current going through the charger. I plugged this device before turning the ignition on, it starts to charge the device, but during the period where car drains power from the battery to start, the current decreases which might damage your device. Just be aware. Otherwise good product.

I find this item to be very useful for long drives, especially when you want to keep using the player after the long drive. The end piece fits into the lighter hole with a nice snap to it so it doesn't fall out, ever. I had this problem before with a discman charger quite some time ago. I do wish that the cord wasn't coiled. Where i set my mp3 player makes a bit of a stretch and it almost pulls my player out of the pocket that i have my player sitting in. But i suppose the coiled cord is for incase the cord is snagged on someone trying to get out of the car and doesn't rip the charger out of the lighter which may cause damage, or even damage your mp3 player.

This device performs above, and beyond what I expected of it for such a low price.

I use it to power my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (SGH-T889) while I use Google Maps + Pandora + GPS&WIFI&Bluetooth on, and it still manages to put a very good charge to the battery while performing all the above.
