Go look at the only picture and read the description. It does state what it will work with, but I don't own a solar panel by noco, but I did buy the NOCO Genius GC015 12V Eyelet Battery Indicator. I wanted to connect that to the battery and the use this noco fc009 sae adapter to connect it to another sae connection. The only problem is that the NOCO connection is female. It does not state that it is female. I would not have bought if I knew this. How would you know?? Now I have to buy the male to male NOCO adapter to then connected it to my noco Genius Gc015 12 v wywlet to then connect it to the noco gc009 sae adapter. Lol all I was trying to get is have a way to see if my battery had juice, not i'm in over $30 bucks just for that.

If you are trying to have a way to see if your battery has juice get something like this instead. 3 of 2 Wire Blue DC 4.5-30V LED Panel digital display Voltage Meter Voltmeter.

Just bought two of them and that was cheaper than just one of these adapters.

I searched quite awhile to find a charge controller that could connect to my 36-volt, 250-watt solar panel and still give 12-volt output to charge a battery; this charge controller does the trick. It's been plug-n-play so far, stupid simple hookup and it's just working. Time will tell how durable it is, can't comment on that yet. So far, so good.

I ordered this item to charge my VX6000 phone and it did not work (DOA). After contacting Amazon, the supplier sent a replacement very quickly that also did not work. Both of the chargers had the plug end that plugs into the phone incorrectly wired. By email, I notified the supplier of the problem and suggested that they stop selling these until they can have their vender correct the problem.

I would like to add that the supplier was very responsive and helpful in addressing this problem.

Since then I have purchased a Verizon charger from another source that works properly with my phone.

Bought the charger for my TomTom GO920. Installation took about 10 minutes and most of that was deciding exactly where to run the wires for a cleaner look. Took a little while to get delivered from the UK but I am happy with the product. Looks and feels like it is solid and weather tight. Great that it can handle various charger adapters. They even have a USB adapter and you can run most of your gadgets through that using your own plugs. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a gadget charger for their bike.

This product has two major issues:

1. While it's description claims it has a 2 Amp port and a 1 Amp port, the reality is that it has bridged the two ports and it can only source 2 Amps total. It is not capable of delivering 3 Amps combined like the description implicitly claims and could never simultaneously charge an iPad and a smart phone. (UPDATE: The technical details section now indicates more clearly the 2A total, which is appreciated.)

2. The 2 Amp port appears to be using the Apple protocol for USB power, so that port will only provide 0.5 Amps to most other devices.

The upside of this is the 1 Amp port somewhat over delivers, and can source 2 Amps if nothing else is connected and 1.5 Amps if the 2 Amp port is sourcing 0.5 Amps for a non-Apple device. Thus this product can support one-high power non-Apple device (in the 1 Amp port) and one lower power device (in the 2 Amp port).

Now some more background/details...

First, a little background on USB charging for those who don't know:

The USB power spec is for 0.5 Amps at 5 Volts... or 2.5 Watts. This was great up until the last couple years when devices have gotten really power hungry, particularly smartphones and tablets and to a lesser extent dedicated GPS's. Some of these devices use over 2 Amps, particularly the tablets like the iPad (or in my case the HP Touchpad).

Manufacturers of these devices therefore had a dilemma. If they had their devices pull more than 0.5 Amps, they risked damaging the power source, which could be a computer, that was only prepared to source 0.5 Amps. Thus the manufacturers have used tricks to determine whether their device is connected to an unknown source, at which point they purposely only draw 0.5 Amps, or to the dedicated charger that was provided with the device, where they can draw all the power they need.

There seem to be two common tricks used. The first is to short the two data-wires together in the charger. This is what most non-Apple devices do. Since a computer or older device wouldn't have done this, the device can assume it is safe to draw all the power it needs.

Apple seems to have taken a different approach, one that I don't fully understand but know can be seen by the fact that the data lines are neither open nor shorted when the charger is plugged in, and is more sophisticated and probably superior, because I suspect it allows the device to know exactly how much power it can use.

While Apple taking a better approach might be nice in concept, it's created chaos in the USB charger product category. What is the non-specific charger to do? They can't support both.

This device chose to go the Apple route for the 2 Amp port. I don't own any high-power Apple devices, so I can't say for sure, but I suspect this unit performs well with Apple devices. Using electronic equipment I was able to draw 2 Amps when putting a fixed load on this USB charging port. However, when I connect any of the 3 high-power devices I have (HP Touchpad (2 Amps), Motorola Triumph Android phone (0.85 Amps) and the LG Optimus Slider (0.7 Amps)), none of them drew all the current they could have, because they were expecting a shorted set of data-lines.

Luckily for my purposes, the 1 Amp port on this device uses the data-line shorting method. As such, it was able to deliver all the power my Triumph and Optimus wanted. However, for some reason, even when it was the only device connected, it would not fully charge the HP Touchpad at the 2 Amps it could have, because for one reason or another, the HP Touchpad rejected it as a high power charger.

To be honest, this surprised me because it was able to source the 2 Amps the Touchpad claims it needs and the HP Touchpad charger has the data-lines shorted. So I'm not sure why this didn't work.

Thus this device gets 3 stars (UDPATE: 4 stars) because it can source the current it claims (minus the somewhat deceptive 2A + 1A notation (UPDATE: Which is now more clear in the technical details)), would likely support an iPad like it claims, but falls short in other regards noted elsewhere.

For non-Apple users, or even more so mixed users (say an iPad and an Android phone?) this device is superior to the other device I purchased, the "Kensington K33497US PowerBolt Duo Car Charger" (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003PU01M4/ref=oh_o02_s00_i00_details) because on that device, NEITHER port works with non-Apple devices (although it performed better power-wise, see my review over there for details).

2. Of the 4 models I purchased, it's one of the two I kept and it's the only one I kept in unmodified form. That's got to count for something. :)

The contacts on this charger do not work at all with either of the power outlets in my 2007 Honda Accord EX-L. I have tried jiggling, rotating, wedging, reinserting, and every other motion I can think of to try to form a solid contact, but the most I've gotten is a couple of short blips from my iPhone indicating that it detects a power source; a moment later, the contact breaks and the phone no longer charges. This charger is absolutely unusable in my car.

However, I put charger in my girlfriend's 2002 VW Beetle and it works perfectly. So I just let her keep it instead of dealing with return shipping, and I ordered the Kensington K33497US PowerBolt Duo for myself.

So 1 star for not working in my car (and not warning me about it before ordering), but since it works fine in another car and I'd probably give it 5 stars if it worked in mine, I'm averaging it to 3.

I had ordered a car charger from another seller that was supposed to be for my Garmin GPS some time ago and had it in the car along with the unit. Imagine my surprise when I tried to plug it in and discovered it didn't fit. Wasn't in the least happy but figured it would cost me more to send it back than it cost. Went on Amazon again looking for the right charger. From the picture, I felt fairly sure this one would work. I plugged it into my Garmin as soon as it arrived and it works. I am very pleased and like that the cord will stretch out so far. I also like the fact that it will fully charge the GPS unit and then stop charging thus ensuring the battery on the GPS the longest possible life. Definitely recommend this charger.

To be brief, I bought this a few years ago (from Amazon)and I have used it a handfull of times to charge dead car batteries and it has worked as advertized. It works well. I am pleased with the purchase as I got it for a good price. I would suggest it to others who are looking for a "lessor amp" power charger who don't mind waiting a little longer to charge something versus a chager that is is a faster charger with higher amps such as 10 or 12. Very good value for the $$.

I purchased two of these chargers. They worked great for three months. As with all car chargers, the metal tip is spring loaded. On these chargers, the spring 'sprung' internally. This caused a short internal to the unit and blew the fuse in my car. As I said, this happened with both chargers in two different cars. The charger would probably work fine if you don't remove it much. Mine was typically removed a few times each week. Everything else on the unit worked fine. The retractable cord worked great. The button to retract the cord is a little hard to press. You have to push and slide it at the same time. You can't beat the price.

BOTTOM LINE: If you don't remove the charger much, it should work fine. Otherwise, spend a few more bucks on another charger.

I have used this with my LG enV3 and so far it works great. The only problem is that the retractable cord can hurt you if you're not careful when it's rewinding (it retracts VERY quickly).

UPDATE: I ordered another one (using this same link, from the same seller), but the charger I got was by a completely different manufacturer (than listed and than what I ordered before). This one is more cheaply made. It works OK, but I haven't had it very long, so I can't attest for its longevity yet.

Please note that not all compatible phones are listed in the product description here. We use it for our LG enV3 as well as the VX8360. It is the same exact charger as this one: which claims to work with LG Rumor2 LX265, Xenon GR500, Versa VX9600, Wine UX280, Secret CF750, VX8360, CF360, and Swift AX500 (double check with your cell carrier first).

Just be prepared to receive some generic charger, not necessarily one by the manufacturer listed here (I ordered at two different times from this same link/product/seller and I got two different items, NEITHER were by Eforcity as promised; I should have received two of the exact same item!). If you buy this from BargainCell, you never know what you're going to get! (Yes, I have left seller feedback. I even contacted the seller first, never heard back, so I filed a claim, since I'm guaranteed to receive the EXACT items I ordered; the seller has VERY poor customer service!)

The issue with lots of third-party iPhone sync cable is that the plug can be thicker or wider than the original iPhone cable's plug, making it not fit the opening of some iPhone cases. I have a Lifeproof case (love it!), and that was the issue I had with cables like AmazonBasics 3.2 feet 1.0 Meter USB Charging/Sync Cable for Apple iPod, iPhone, and iPad.

This cable has no such issue. I didn't measure it with a ruler or anything, but as far as I can tell, its plug has exact same width and thickness as the original Apple cable plug, so it should have no problem plugging into any cases you have. The plug is slightly longer than Apple's, but that's a good thing. It means the plug won't be "buried" deep in the case when plugged in, and you won't have to yank the plug by the wire to unplug, which I had to do with the original Apple cable and Lifeproof case.

The cable itself is built with sturdy material that easily should last me until the time I upgrade my iPhone to a Lightning connector model. And 6-foot length is perfect for me. I am very pleased with this cable. Highly recommended.

I spend much of my time on the road, and a find a 6' charge/sync cord very useful. This is the best of the several I have tried and broken... I have only been using it for a few weeks, but the build quality seems significantly better than anything else I have used. Hopefully this one will last...

It also seems to charge my iPad significantly faster than the previous 6' cable I was using, although I have not measured this objectively. I guess some manufacturers use smaller gauge wire?

In any event, I would recommend it.

Finally a cord that is worth the money spent!

Price-I have purchased between 5-10 charge.sync cables from amazon, ranging from $1-6. All have have issues either they overheat my phone, the connection between the charger head and cable becomes loose and wires get exposed, or they just stop working after a couple of months. Let me be clear this is NOT the case with this cord. And its available through prime need I say more?

Convenience This cord is 6foot long, which makes it perfect for Desk/Office Charger, Hotel Rooms, Airplane/Airport, and particularly when charging near your bed if you don't have a dock. Highly reliable due to the thickness of the cord and connections.

Save yourself the frustration and spend the extra money for this cord. Highly recommended.

PS.. if anything fails with this cord over time, I will be sure to update this review.

Got this for my small boat, it was on sale at West Marine and listed as 'waterproof' (who wants a boat radio that's not waterproof?). Takes multiple power sources, does dual watch, weather band, and the price was right.

After it charged up it worked great. We used it several times for coordinating activites without incident.

Until, while helping trailer the boat, my friend slips on some seaweed and this 'waterproof' radio hits the water. It was in MAYBE a foot of water for half a second, but that was enough. The PTT button was stuck on, the button would physically push and release but the circuit stayed active and the radio kept transmittingsalt water had shorted the PTT switch.

Turning the radio off and on was no helpit refused to power up with the PTT switch held down (just made a beeping noise).

Further research reveals that this unit is rated JIS4. According to , JIS4 means 'splash resistant'.

Most of the other marine portables are rated JIS7 (same as IPX7)can be submerged under 1 meter (3 feet) of water for 30 minutes with no ill effects. Some are rated JIS8 (indefinitely submersible up to mfr. specified depth).

Many of the other units also float, and most aren't that much more expensive than this one.

You might check out the Uniden MHS75, which is actually cheaper, smaller, and is JIS8 rated. It also has SAME weather radio alerts, which this doesn't.

I'm giving this 2/5 stars because I think a boating radio, to be used on the water, should be more than just 'splash proof', especially when nearly all the competition is JIS7. And had me and my friends been stuck on the water instead of on the boat launch, the unexpected failure of this unit would have put us in serious trouble.

I use this radio for open water swimming events in salt water as a Pilot in a 15' Zodiac Inflatable or kayaks.

Pro: Good ergonomics, has both 1 and 5 watts, clear communications, rechargeable batter or AA pack.

Con: I was trying to make it through some waves in a kayak and the boat flipped. The radio was attached to the kayak and got wet, not for long and not at all deep. Now the display is fogged up and it doesn't seem to turn on.

The ad says "Water proof", JIS4/CFR46 Waterproof Level. This is actually a level 4, out of 1 to 8, which only rates it for sea spray.

Net: If this WAS water proof, I would recommend it. Since it is only rated for sea spray, I can not recommend this radio for boating. How does this get put in the Marine section I wonder?

Was working on zodiacs doing an FTX and had some decent sized seas but at no point in our night did I or the radio go in the water. Apparently that was all it took because because now the window is completely fogged up and I have nothing but problems transmitting on it now. I wish companies could be held responsible in some fashion when their marketing for an item is "waterproof" but the radio shouldn't even be anywhere around water.

It is already the second Uniden Atlantis 250BK Marine Radio we use on our motorboat on waterways inside and outside Europe. Perfect to handle. Nice looking. Well working. And really waterproof. My wife let it fall down into the water last week. But after we got it back on the boat after some minutes and dried it it was working like before without any fail. By the way: The white color of the item was my wife's request. She loves it and she promised never let it fall into the water again. Wait and see.

This charger is very durable and even better is the amazingly cheap price! I would recommend this to anybody needing a cell-phone car charger! Charging time is fast, too. Also, the cord is long enough to have the phone near you to talk on while charging.(With speakerphone engaged, of coarse).

This charger is not designed for the TomTom but for cell phones. The USB end is too large to fit into the TomTom and so out of the box, it did not work. I whittled away at the corners of the plastic around the connector and then it did fit and it now works just fine. Because of the price, if you are willing to do that minor modification this is not a bad deal.

the USB plug housing wasn't as big as it is. I followed another reviewer's suggestion of carving off some of the black plastic at the end of the USB plug with a utility knife. NOW it works just fine. A note of caution: don't get too aggressive with pressing down on the knife as you will be cutting into the metal. I took off about an 1/8" and it now inserts snugly into the TomTom. I would have given this five stars for the price and utility were it not for the requirement of a customer modification.
