I bought this adapter to charge my laptop during my semester abroad in Italy. It works really well for grounded appliances--any device that has an American-style plug with 3 prongs simply plugs in and the adapter then plugs into the Italian outlet. You can also use this adapter for an American-style plug with 2 prongs.

As one other reviewer mentioned, the only downside is that some Italian outlets only have 2 prongs and do not work with the grounded plug. However, I have not had a problem finding an outlet that works with this adapter, and I live in a pretty old apartment. I have four outlets in my room and all are grounded, as are the other outlets in my apartment.

Also, make sure to check that your device can convert power on its own. The easy way to do this is to check the label on the box for your charger. It will usually say something like 100-240V if it can convert power. If it only lists one number, you will have to purchase a converter to convert the voltage, since the adapter is not capable of doing so by itself.

I work in the US but live in Italy (sono Italiano), I would go with the two prong adapter rather than the three prong any day. No need for the "grounded" middle prong unless you want to hit your head against a wall when you find out that the place where you had in mind to charge your electronic toy will only accept the two prong! In short..with a two prong adapter..you will NEVER run into any problem..with this three prong...you better cross your fingers..dont say I didnt warn you guys. Also find the cheapest two prong adapter out there! There are plenty for around 1 dollar..remember..this will not work as a transformer!! Make sure you read the power voltage label that is on your device..in Italy the power is 220v in the US its 110v so if the U.S. device you plan on bringing to Italy is also good for 220v then a two prong adapter is all you need to bring to Italy. I would buy more than one just to stay on the safe side just in case you lose one. They also sell them in Italy but only at certain electronic shops that are mom and pop owened and you would need to drive around for ever to find that place that carries them. Otherwise you can purchase an adapter at any airport..only thing is that you will end up spending 20 dollars for one if you choose to go that route and like I said before a 10 cent adapter is all you really need.

If you have a grounded US plug (3-prong) this will let you use Italian plugs. If you only have a ungrounded plugs (2 prong) then you can use the standard rounded 2-prong outlets common in the rest of Europe (with a 2 prong European adapter) in Italy as well.

If you only get one adapter for Italy, this is the one to get. (Remember to make sure your device can handle Italian voltage (240v), this does not convert voltage).

This is a great price for a grounded adapter. I arrived quickly and we used it throughout our trip to Italy in Rome, Florence, Siena and Tuscany. No issues at all, product is very well made and not too bulky.

One note to be careful of many outlets only have 2 prongs and are not grounded, so this adapter does not work. We ran into this in the airport where the cell phone charging station only had 2-prong outlets. Fortunately we'd purchased 2 of those (via Amazon as well) but just keep in mind that 2 prong outlets make this virtually useless. We never hit that issue in any of our hotels though, as they were all 3 prong outlets.

Works well. Wife and I went on a camping trip and I wanted to make sure I had enough juice for my new Samsung Focus phone. Battery indicator went down to about 1/8 on the phone and the Gomadic charged it up fine. There are four indicator lights on the Gomadic indicating how much juice it has left and after charging the Samsung with about 1/8 left, the Gomadic still had two lights, so I could have gotten more juice if I had needed it. As a plus, the Gomadic has a LCD flashlight. It also allows you to pull out cable and have it fixed in place so you have some slack to use the device while it's being charged. Push a button and the extra cable is pulled right back into the device. Only downside for me was that I was hoping I could have charged it from a wall outlet, but it only gives you the option to charge the Gomadic from a USB connection. Maybe there's an adapter so I can charge from the wall if needed? Anyway, overall I'm pleased with it. Going to keep it in my backpack with me as a backup.

I really like the little machine when it works, BUT, I am having trouble with it not working part of the time. We have plenty ol Sun here in Texas, but it only works part of the time. I recently bought several battery charging products to get ready for winter, including a Schumacher SEM-1562A (bought at the local Tractor Supply Co.), the Schumacher EC-25 25' Cable Connector Extension Cord and this extra connector cable.

The charger works great. The extension cable works great. This connector works great as well. But....

I was a bit disappointed in the over all design of this connector, tho. I was expecting it to be the same as the one that came with the charger, but it falls short in at least three ways. It's shorter, the cable is less robust (it may be the same gauge of wire, but it feels flimsy compared to the original and doesn't have as good a plastic sheath around it), and it doesn't have a cover for the plug to keep dirt and grime out. As the point is to leave this attached to the vehicle year round, it seems like the chances to get gunked up are pretty good.

For the price, I think this is a swell product. However, for a couple bucks more (which in this case I grant, is close to 50%) you can get the Battery Tender 081-0069-6 Ring Terminal Harness with Black Fused 2-Pin Quick Disconnect Plug which has none of the drawbacks of this connector that I mentioned above. It's by a different company, but the plugs are identical and it hooks right up fine.

So, in short, this is a fine product that does what it claims but there are better products out there.

I bought 2 sets just for the 240V capability. I got 2 sets both 110V only. I just realized that the 6 pictures actually show 2 different chargers, I got the second one. I wrote to Electromaster. They replied that they want their customers satisfied, what is the problem, what should they do? I thought the problem is clear and they must know what to do. So I asked them to replace my chargers with the correct 110-240V versions. They never replied to that.

works ok but the insert into the phone doesnt stay in place very well and always slips out of my chocolate... when its in the phone it works but it doesnt stay there unless you hold it in place with your hand or something else

I purchased two of these chargers. They worked great for three months. As with all car chargers, the metal tip is spring loaded. On these chargers, the spring 'sprung' internally. This caused a short internal to the unit and blew the fuse in my car. As I said, this happened with both chargers in two different cars. The charger would probably work fine if you don't remove it much. Mine was typically removed a few times each week. Everything else on the unit worked fine. The retractable cord worked great. The button to retract the cord is a little hard to press. You have to push and slide it at the same time. You can't beat the price.

BOTTOM LINE: If you don't remove the charger much, it should work fine. Otherwise, spend a few more bucks on another charger.

I have used this with my LG enV3 and so far it works great. The only problem is that the retractable cord can hurt you if you're not careful when it's rewinding (it retracts VERY quickly).

UPDATE: I ordered another one (using this same link, from the same seller), but the charger I got was by a completely different manufacturer (than listed and than what I ordered before). This one is more cheaply made. It works OK, but I haven't had it very long, so I can't attest for its longevity yet.

Please note that not all compatible phones are listed in the product description here. We use it for our LG enV3 as well as the VX8360. It is the same exact charger as this one: which claims to work with LG Rumor2 LX265, Xenon GR500, Versa VX9600, Wine UX280, Secret CF750, VX8360, CF360, and Swift AX500 (double check with your cell carrier first).

Just be prepared to receive some generic charger, not necessarily one by the manufacturer listed here (I ordered at two different times from this same link/product/seller and I got two different items, NEITHER were by Eforcity as promised; I should have received two of the exact same item!). If you buy this from BargainCell, you never know what you're going to get! (Yes, I have left seller feedback. I even contacted the seller first, never heard back, so I filed a claim, since I'm guaranteed to receive the EXACT items I ordered; the seller has VERY poor customer service!)

I bought the helmet as I was looking for bluetooth so I can talk while riding. I am going to break up this review into 3 parts. 1. The bluetooth feature 2. The style of the helmet 3. The sound level First the bluetooth feature. The bluetooth feature works as long as you are not moving. I have a quiet motorcycle and you can't even hear the person you are talking to on the other end. Even with the volume up all the way it is too quiet. I am very disappointed in that I was looking forward to it. I have already returned the helmet waiting for refund. If you don't mind a bluetooth helmet where you can talk while standing still then the bluetooth helmet here will work for you fine. But you will not be able to ride and talk at the same time. Now let's move onto the style and appearance. I would rate the looks of the helmet a strong 5 as it is awesome looking. Now lets move onto the sound level. The sound level is too loud for a bluetooth helmet. People say you can hear the wind and this is unacceptable and it's even a blue tooth helmet. You think they would make the helmet quiet. Here is my honest review and final statement. If you don't mind a helmet that only works when stopped and not moving you will love this helmet and its perfect for that. If however you want to talk to people while riding I would not order it.

That is the key. Make sure you are ok with stopping and talking to someone then it will be ok for you but when you think about it, if you can stop then why wouldn't you just use your cell phone and save the money on getting the helmet? See it doesn't make sense.

For the price, this helmet seems ok. It dosent have the liftable front face, which I have noticed is rather shakey on these models. Dosen't have the sun glasses, which I hear gets loose and drops out of the helmet at random times. Was dissapointed in the quality of the Bluetooth. I have tried others that was way nicer. You cant hear anything on the highway, not even music. The one speaker just isnt enough. You can hear it on regular streets however, and the battery will last just about all day with a full charge. The helmet if outfitted with a slot for another speaker, but the wires are hard wired in, so any tampering with the system to make it a two speaker system will void the warranty.

I bought this hoping for the best, mostly because it matched my bike. Everything is nice and secure setting up the Bluetooth isn't difficult at all just put the battery in and let it charge. I be used it for listening to the iPod while riding and sound quality is great. One thing I got a medium and it was a little smaller than I intended so if most mediums are snug on you this one might be a little bit tighter. But I got it worked in and it fits snug now. Like any other person I wanted to be able to listen to music while riding and answering my calls at the same time. This is a very nice helmet that can do both. It has lots of padding on all sides. The graphics are really nice. The helmet looks sturdy as well.

Coming down to the bluetooth functionality, it is very easy to set up. when you are riding within the city it is easy for you to listen to the person on the other side. when on a freeway riding at 70-80 mph it will be a little hard to hear everything, but you will be able to hear most of the conversation.

The microphone in the device is a little on the downside. I was talking to my wife and she told me that she could hear me clearly but the volume was too low. I tried increasing the microphone volume on my phone as it is in the pairing mode but then it didnt help a lot.

Also Amazon uses a 3rd party shipper called OnTrack for the delivery so, if you have a gated entry to your residence then they wont be able to enter the premises and leave the package outside your front door if you are not available. UPS, FedEx, USPS usually have the access to enter the building premises and leave the package outside the door. If you miss the delivery then they won't redeliver/or charge you for redelivery. you would have to go to their warehouse to pickup your package within 3 business days of delivery or else the package will be returned.

Overall I will rate this helmet a solid 8.5/10

Graphics: 10/10

bluetooth: 8/10 (due to the microphone volume issue.)

Other that this it is a great helmet for the price.

And yes to add to this make sure you take a size bigger than what you actually wear as this is on a smaller side. I usually wear an L but took an XL and it fits just about right.

I have never had a problem with Shumacher products I have had an old battery charger made from Schumacher and never had a problem with it and it was given to me by my grand-father. I think the quality is the same if not better.
