Bring your e100 back to life! This battery does a great job if you need replacements. The e100 takes two batteries so be sure to purchase two of them. You will need to solder the existing wiring harness to the batteries. They are also very slightly bigger than the originals so you will need to remove the battery brackets inside the e100 tray.

As always, replacement batteries from the manufacturer are priced crazy, these are a perfect lower cost alternative. Contrary to what other reviewers say, you DO NOT have to do any soldering, just cut the battery wires (there are 4 of them on the E100 and E150 2 red and 2 black) as close to the terminals as possible and strip off a 1/4" of insulation. Make sure you only do one battery at a time and mark the wires so you know which set go on which battery. Then just attach a quick connect terminals to all the stripped wire ends, which are availabe at any Radio Shack, and you can just slide them onto the new battery terminals. The upside is that if you ever have to replace the batteries again (even with religious devotion to turning the scooter off when not in use and regular charging, they only last about 2 seasons) you'll be able to just slide the contacts off the old battery and onto the new one!!

My daughter's Razor electric scooter (E100) stopped charging, so I guessed it was the battery and saw that they were pretty expensive through Razor. I opened up the scooter and saw that the batteries (2 identical 12V's jammed under the deck) appeared pretty generic and I found these here, so I ordered (you need 2 of them).

The replacement process requires some cutting and soldering of wires, so it's not that simple, but for anyone with the least bit of automotive or electrical experience, it should be a cake-walk.

It's a bummer that these batteries are so suceptible to abuse and damage (you should not leave the scooter on when not in use, which is hard for kids to remember), but at least they're fairly inexpensive to replace.

The only way to really get your GPS fully charged is my thinking. I know you can plug it into your computer but I don't leave my computer on for long periods of time.

After several missteps I finally got it right and my Garmin Street Pilot C330 is working perfectly. This is an excellent product, but you need to be aware of a couple of things. First of all, you need a soldering iron, otherwise forget it. The item description doesn't mention it, but you have to use a soldering iron to take out the old battery and connect the new one. Secondly, you need to watch the video (comes with the package) very closely as to the placement of a metal piece that comes dangling after you open up the Garmin. I don't know the function of this metal piece which is connected to the GPS thru several small wires. If this is not correctly placed in the bottom slot of the Garmin, it will not be able to pick up satellite signals. I learned it the hard way. I thought somehow I fried my Garmin!

Had issues with installation & heat setting of new battery. Instructions seemed simple, but when unit reassembled IT DID NOT WORK. The GPS would suddenly shut off with loss of power while charging?? Then when man handling (twisting exterior casing/wires may suddenly come on then off). Took the unit apart again, wires connected, reassembled and same things happened. If it worked briefly on dash of car, if you attempted to adjust the GPS shut off and lost data requiring resetting of trip. I thought the two contacts on casing were not touching but that does not seem to be the problem. In process of purchasing a new replacement GPS that the new battery was to avoid. I bought 2 sets just for the 240V capability. I got 2 sets both 110V only. I just realized that the 6 pictures actually show 2 different chargers, I got the second one. I wrote to Electromaster. They replied that they want their customers satisfied, what is the problem, what should they do? I thought the problem is clear and they must know what to do. So I asked them to replace my chargers with the correct 110-240V versions. They never replied to that.

First off, I didn't purchase this item on Amazon, it was a gift from a Canadian friend, so there may be some differences between my product and the one sold here. Mine is an Optimate 3+, and looks the same as the one pictured, except that its a different color. That out of the way, I can say that I bought it after the battery in my 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera S lost 100% of its charge and was deemed to be dead. My Porsche dealer replaced it, not with a Porsche battery, but with an Interstate MTP-91. So I'm now being quite careful with my battery.

It is early days, but the Optimate 3+ has bee working well. It has many modes, which correspond to the different battery states that it identifies. I'm no battery expert, but it seems to have a mode for nearly every condition. It has a maintenance mode, so I can leave it plugged in permanently, aparently. I will update this review in the future as I get more experience with it. So far, it is doing what I want: charging when necessary, and keeping the battery fully charged without overcharging.

I have used this in several different cars to power everything from a cell phone charger to a laptop to a car vac. It has an internal fuse, but I have never tripped it. I almost forgot, we even used this to power our fridge in a blackout by running a long extension cord from the car to the kitchen we just let it run for a couple of hours to keep things cold/frozen.

This product works, it still takes over 4 hours to charge the Archos 605. It is way over priced, for just a couple more dollars you can buy the Archos Mini Dock() which gives you a charger, USB input for file transfer and a video out port. I bought this Quick Charger before I seen how inexpensive the Mini Dock was, I now bought the Mini Dock and wish I would have saved my money and not bought this Quick Charger. Like I said it does do the job but it is just way too expensive. Take a look at the Mini Dock.

Drained my Archos 605 and use this wall charge to charge my 605. Took more than 4 hours to charge up the 605 not as it said 2 hours.

Connecting this charger to 605 you need to lay the 605 flat.

Do not recommand at all. The Archos Battery Dock does a far more better job.

I purchased this solar charger in spite of the previous review. I've used it to charge a Blackberry, IPOD, and Incredible phone. It comes with almost every phone adapter known to man, which plugs into either the 8.4 volt jack or the 5v USB jack. It has a LED that illuminates when the charger is exposed to sunlight. The internal battery can be charged with the included AC adapter which I haven't used yet. The battery has higher capacity than other devices that I looked at. The intended use of this device is to keep portable devices charged all summer while sailing where there is no power available at all.

The device is very high quality, using good quality solar cells and the feel of the device is very solid, it has a rubberized coating and solid feel to the hinge. Even the box it came in is really nice, which I'll keep as it has magnetic closures. Overall the product is well worth the price.

I only wish that the device was waterproof, so it can be left outside without worrying about it. It does fit very nicely inside a 1 quart zip-lock bag, which will probably reduce the solar efficiency by 10% or so, but that should be fine.

1. Installed on a 2010 Challenger under the front chin spoiler to flipup on demand. Works but you must hold down either __ or [ ] button on the remote to deploy or retract the plate. You cant just hit the button once and have it go till fully up or fully retracted.

2. Because of above, when sitting inside car, you need to know how long it takes to deploy or retract the plate or you endup having it sticking straight out from car lol.

3. As it gets dirty from normal driving, the little cables slip and the guides drag more causing the plate to take longer to deploy or retract. If you live in a mostly sunny place or drive your vehicle on nice days only then this will likely not be an issue. Daily drivers beware.

4. Recommend always have it up to display your front plate and only stow it for special occasions like a show or car meet-n-greet. It just doesn't seem to have durability for daily use.

Bought a 2013 Corvette and, after talking to sales-dude, decided to get the "hidden license" plate bracket instread of having dealer drill holes in the nose for the stock bracket (besides, it looks ugly). Order placed with ProTrim on 9-DEC, received my kit on 11-DEC, so lovin' the fast order and shipment (yea, Protrim!). So, off to the dealer for installation.

Problems encoutered during the installation, the cables which drive the whole works became twisted and came loose. Contacted "Greg" at ALTEC (manufacturer of the kit) for a replacement on 14-DEC. He took my address and said he would "get one out right away". I sent him email with same info. One week later, 18-DEC, no replacement bracket, so, I called "Greg" again. He acted like he never heard of me (not too surprising), but said that "we don't normally do that, we usually wait for the defect part to come back and then we repair it". Was this a "failure to communicate" situation starting? So, after a bit of cajolling, "Greg" said he would get one out straight away. Today is 24-DEC and still no replacement bracket.

Here's my plan of action: I've ordered a similar product from Mid America Motorworks, a firm specializing in Corvette performance and parts. I decided on the "manual" version of the license plate bracket after reading some of the older reviews.

After speaking to my mechanic at my dealer, who's installed many of this type of hidden plate systems (this was his 14th Altec product, 100+ of other makes), in his opinion the Altec "Show-n-go" is a problematic device as he has had issues with their quality along with lack of protection for the cable system and motor. In fact, it was my mechanic who pointed me to Mid America Motorworks and the manual hidden bracket kit.

Conclusion: In my not so humble opinion, "Greg" at ALTEC Products probably should not be in customer service since he doesn't follow through and this "mechanical marvel" should only be used on "trailer queens". Otherwise, if you have $130 to waste, send $70 of it to Wounded Warriors Project and take the other $50-60 and contact Mid American Motorworks for their manual hidden license plate bracket....or not.

I am returning this POS to the supplier.

I bought this to solve the dumbass WA requirement for a front license plate that didnt require me to drill into the bumper and devalue my Camaro. The kit provided is obviously a multi fit type, non specific to my camaro.

For $150 i expected better. The kit was difficult to mount correctly with the stupid rubber grommets that push outwards, holding the bracket on, often pulling out leaving the bracket precariously hanging by a whisker. Everytime i go through the carwash the bracket always comes loose as these grommets pull out even with the plate retracted as the plate never retracts fully under the car.

The bracket itself is poorly protected fron the elements with the pulley assembly exposed to the dirt and grime of the road. The last straw was a kerb that was that little too high and with this thing hanging low under an already low bumper with no assembly protection meant the entire assembly got damaged, and the little motor destroyed.

This proved to be an expensive waste of money; poor quality and fit with something easily damaged in a variety of ways.

I would have been better off getting the manual one as mine broke a week after installing it.

The small wire that attaches to the plate bracket itself needs some sort of a swivel because as the plate comes out and up and then back down again it bends the wire back and forth and eventually breaks.

This car charger is seemingly functional in all the right ways. It is indeed compact. There is a convenient little red led to let you know that the charger has power. I was able to plug in two cell phones and they charged, just as expected.

However.... I have doubts about how long this charger will last. It is rather flimsy. I felt like it might break the first time I pulled it back out of my car's outlet. What really did bother me was that the adjustable swivel is very weak. Don't expect this charger to stay in the position you set it to. Because of this, the charger does not stay out of the way of my cup holder, which is the reason I wanted the adjustable swivel in the first place.

Very good price, but you certainly get what you pay for.

This is exactly what I was looking for! The sleek black design matches my iPhone 4 perfectly. I was concerned about the product being bulky and unable to fit in the small area where my cigarette lighter is, but this is the perfect size. It is not intrusive and it fits perfect into the cigarette lighter. I wanted to be able to charge my iPhone and iPod at the same time while traveling and this is perfect for both purposes.
