I was hesitant to order this charger at such a cheap price, but I have had it for almost a year, and it works great when I am in the car. The retractable cord hasn't gotten tangled once, and it seems to charge my phone really quickly. I have since upgraded from the Aria to another phone with a Micro USB slot, and the charger works on that too. Pleasantly surprised!

Preliminary review: I ordered two of these chargers (they're so inexpensive and I knew they wouldn't last forever). I've used the first charger for two months. Yesterday my phone died and I noticed the charger wasn't working. OK, I can understand that. But I left the charger plugged in and periodically kept trying to see if it would work, hoping it was just a loose connection. Later in the day a smell of burning plastic was noticed coming from the charger. I unplugged the charger at that time. There's no obvious damage on the outside of the charger but I worry about a potential fire hazard. I'll use the second charger starting today and I hope the same problem doesn't happen again. It's one thing to stop working; another to start to burn...

This is the highest quality solar charging product on the market. It's more expensive than other models, but let me tell you: you get a product that is worth every penny. The design of the case is perfect. Seams match up perfectly, it's very sturdy feeling. The solar panel is hinged and it has a smooth resistance when you open it (it doesn't just flop open).

The whole device has one simple button on the battery. You hold it down and the little LCD screen flashes the battery life. You hold it down again, and it turns off and goes into powersave mode. It will not charge anything unless it is ON (lcd screen displays battery life) and it is NOT plugged into the solar panel.

The solar panel alone will plug into a USB female adapter (provided with this purchase) and charge my Zen MP3 Player! I don't even need to use the battery! (the solar panel output is 5v regulated and 200MA)

This device surprisingly works with the 'USB lithium charger' on DealExtreme. I can charge any lithium battery with solar. I use it to charge my cell phone battery and cannon camera battery.

Bottom line: Don't mess around with those $25 'premium solar chargers'. They are poorly designed and will lead to disappointment.

I purchased the "Satmap" bundle to power my iPhone 3G when hiking, and was already set on the Powermonkey unit, but the Satmap bundle was cheaper and identical, with all the needed adapters.

Charging the battery is straight forward and worked to charge my iPhone in the comfort of my home twice, but once I was on the trek, the battery failed to charge my iPhone at all. In fact the iphone wouldn't even recognize the unit as being attached. The battery unit showed a green LED which meant it was fully charged but it would no longer charge my iphone.

I returned it and purchased a second, identical Satmap bundle hoping the first one was faulty, however it exhibited almost identical behavior. The solar panel charges the battery fine, the battery will charge my phone once or twice fine, but once its actually put to real use, it fails to charge the phone or be recognized by the phone at all. In fact, once charged, when disconnected from the solar panel, fails to power up at all.

I wouldn't recommend this unit to anyone as a unit to charge their iPhone. It may work for other devices, but I can't speak to those. It also fails to charge a 3rd generation iPod as well. The second unit is a total failure, and won't charge anything as it won't even power up once charged.

Despite being a better price for the identical Powermonkey Xplorer, the Powermonkey unit is not an acceptable solution for me.

I got this set because it was almost 40 bucks cheaper than the powermonkey packaged one. however this is designed for the GPS unit from the same brand. With that said, it will still work for all your devices, just have to be creative with the tips and cables you use. The product seems very durable, I've yet to test it, but will be taking it on vacation with me. It comes with everything you need and a nice case to put it all in. Perfect for travelers and hikers both.

I bought the Satmap bundle over the 'regular' Powermonkey explorer because I get the same functionality as the original, but for $30 less. The only difference is that the Satmap bundle comes with a nice carry case and that it's battery pack has a different outlet cord end (a micro USB for a Satmap GPS, I assume). All you have to do is plug one of the included adapters on to the end of the cord & you're ready to charge. I use it for my iPhone 4 & have been pleasantly surprised at how well it functions. The battery charges up in about 8 hours & a full battery pack can charge my iPhone about 2.5 times on a single charge.

It's light & compact enough to take anywhere even for ounce-counting backpackers. If you're planning to use your iPhone/droid as a GPS in the backcountry, this great little charger is the hot ticket to keep your electronics charged.

First discovered this device at a big box retailer, and got a much better price on Amazon. Provides a full re-charge for my old-school iPods. I travel a lot and enjoy listening to audiobooks. When Motorola invented the Xoom, they did so with a power plug in mind that was totally non-standard. Even though countless Amazon sellers offer MicroUSB charger and car chargers, this product is the only one that actually works. The cable is long, the plugs on both ends are good quality, and it charges the Xoom at full capacity. The price goes up and down a lot, so if you find it for around $15, you get a good deal. Anything over $25 is just overpriced. But sadly, you don't have many other options.

So like with all of the xoom non-docking chargers, this one is a small pin that gets inserted on the "bottom" of the Xoom. Since it's a car charger, I bought it for a 20 hour car ride I was going to be taking. It works great if you don't touch it at all, and the Xoom doesn't move at all. This is also true about the wall mount. However, bump it, touch it, and the wire falls right out. This is either design genius or major design flaw. Because it would suck to have that pin break off inside the Xoom.

So I'm giving 4/5.

The Motorola Xoom uses a uses a proprietary charging port rather than MicroUSB. At first this may seem annoying....until you see how fast that proprietary tech charges. The charging port is on the bottom of the Xoom. To some this little pin charger seem frail or weak at best. This is completely done by design, so if the cord gets snagged it can break off and you wont lose the most important part your Xoom to a drop. If it should ever break off inside while charging. The remainder of the pin can be removed in less than 2 minutes by any tech who is smart enough to know how to use a screwdriver. NOT that we have ever seen one break off inside, 93% of all Xoom mishaps that come into our retail store. Are directly from it being dropped or sat on or some other abuse. Retail this charger sells for $29 to $36 at Verizon or a Battery+ store. Online here on Amazon it can be purchased from a trusted approved agent for around $17+ a small shipping charge or with free shipping if your a Amazon Prime account holder. Once i figured out that you had to turn the battery on, it worked perfectly. It can charge both my iphone4 and my son's touch4 at the same time. It will also work as a wall charger and charges the Xtrememac battery at the same time.

It is lightweight. The big con for me is the plug. It can be removed to store better but i am sure it will end up lost that way. It does come with the plugs for other countries if you travel alot.

Saw this at Fry's for $50 and picked it up. I was excited about a USB charger and battery combo.

It came 90% charged, but my iPhone doesn't see any power from it. Gonna try a full charge and try again before returning it.

Couple of things to know:

AC plug slides in, but doesn't fold down for traveling! Big CON. Probably done for localization, but design should have been fold down or at least offered a recess for storing it or even a carry pouch for it.

output is 5volts, 2 amps (better than low end USB chargers)

only one USB to apple connect cable included

After charging the unit, I tried to charge my iPhone but it won't charge when the unit. The battery indicator is full. The only time it is charging the iPhone is if it is plugged into an outlet. It works as a wall adapter but not as what it should, portable/extra battery pack. Waste of money.

On time delivery and nothing was broke, my only beef is the switch to turn it on an off is touchy would of like a regular toggle switch instead.

I really like the product and mounted it on My Triumph Rocket cruiser, but the head only rotates and since you cannot mount this accept to the side it faces away from the rider making it either impossible or difficult to see. At least I can charge my phone while I ride; the navigation or other features are useless if you can't see it.

Purchased this set for my HTC Evo 4G as a back up charger to keep one at work, home and in the car. Received the product shipment within the promised time, quicker than I expected. However; when I went to use the car charger, it didn't work. THe LED light was lit up, but the battery did not show an active charge. When I went to try the USB data sync/charge cable, my computed didn't even recognize the connection. Nor did the phone sync or charge. I did not attempt to use the wall charger and instead contacted the seller. They replied immediately, thanked me for my purchase and apologized for my inconvenience. I was offered a full refund which was applied back to the card used as the form of payment. Product wise, I wouldn't recommend this purchase due to my poor experience, however; the immediate response, recognition of purchase and refund was handled so smoothly I would consider purchasing from this seller again.

Like other reviewers, I was impressed with the sound out of such seemingly small speakers. However, my Sansa is much newer (e280, and apparently not backward compatible with all the accesories...) and it did not fit on the dock or in the clips nor did any of the additional connection configurations work to power/charge the player while playing it through the speakers. The headphone jack connector worked to play the music from my player through the speakers, but that was it. So, my recommendation is that this system is great if you have the correct version of the Sansa player. If not, the jumble of cords and lack of charging capability make this system less desirable. I am returning mine and plan to buy something that my Sansa will dock into directly.

UPDATE: I purchased the Altec Lansing im510 Dock for my e280 Sansa at Best Buy and it sounds (and charges) great. It's about $80 now.

This is proof that good things come in small packages. This small size speaker system pumps out great sounds with most MP3 players, including Sansas and Ipods. I set it up in my living room and the sound was superb. It played my Sandisk e260 beautifully, and then we jacked in my son's IPOD 30 Gig and it played it perfectly as well. This is a superb system and highly recommended. It is smaller than I expected when I ordered it, but as it turns out, so much the better. A great system at an incredible price. I'm not easily impressed by electronics, tending to be a little conservative, but this product really deserves five stars. Operates off household current as well as batteries. If you don't have the smaller size Sandisk MP3 (mine is bigger than the series the dock is designed for), the player does not fit in the dock, but it jacked into the audio input with a cord that is included. A small cosmetic issue, but good to know. However, because this dock plays about any MP3 player and is of good quality and low price, it should sell very well.

When I ordered this speaker dock, I wasn't expecting the quality and sound that this unit puts out. When I first hooked up my Sansa player to it, I could not believe the sound that came out of this unit. Needless to say it was much better than I was expecting. The dock is very easy to set up and use with any Sansa player. The unit comes with all the inserts to fit any of the players. The unit can be powered by the included AC adapter cord, or it can be powered by 4 AA batteries (not included). I really like being able to power it with the batteries as you can take it with you anywhere you go. The unit itself has independent on-off and volume controls, and is a great accessory for your Sansa player. The speaker dock it well worth the price, and I would highly recommend to anyone thinking about buying one.

I bought the SanDisk Sansa Speaker Dock almost a year ago and I rarely use it because I'm not too happy with the sound quality. Since I absolutely love my Sansa e130, I assumed the dock would be great, it's not. The music plays slow, reminds me of batteries wearing out BUT it's plugged in, so it's a mystery to me. Also, the volume is a problem too. It doesn't play loud and when I do have to change the volume, it's not an exact science (for lack of a better description).

I would not recommend this to anyone but since I didn't pay too much, I'm not too annoyed (just disappointed).

Okay, first let me say this is a review of the SansDisk customer support and the bundling by Amazon of these two products. Now, both products work just fine. (Will review the clip+ later). However, if like myself, you need explicit instructions and exact and precise product information DO NOT contact SanDisk. As you will see if you are looking for an MP3 player, the Sansa Clip+ is bundled with the above docking station. The only problem is, nowhere on either website does it say these are compatible! SanDisk "customer service" has no idea which product works (except those models listed on the outside of the box, but the joke is on you, as neither Amazon nor SanDisk will tell you if a Clip+ is either of those model types) with the docking station. So, after 20 minutes of useless back and forth with a rep from SanDisk I decided to see if I could get it to work. (The MP3 holder with the docking station is too big to fit the Clip+) There are extra cables which DO attach to the player, and yes finally it does work, but it is NOT intuitive, and SanDisk will give you CYA answer that "we have not tested the latest MP3 player with that docking station." So,I gave this product 2 stars, NOT because it doesn't work, but because SanDisk has NO idea how to write correct specs for ALL their products, nor can their customer service give any help at all. The docking station and the Clip+ are compatible, and can be made to work together, but nowhere on either site will you find that information.

This is a pretty large "button" or coin style battery for certain electronic gadgets. I trust the name Sony and so I won't worry about this battery leaking. Also, lithium is among the best batteries for long shelf life and for packing a lot of energy. Even with shipping it's cheaper than at the local store and I didn't have to go looking all over the place to find it.

Car charger serves it purpose, it charges the cell phone in a car or any cigarette lighter. The design is basic with no hidden features. You just need to make sure you plug the connector in the right way.

I would have liked some type of label that would have identifed it as a motorola compatible device. Otherwise a perfect gift!!
