This is a relatively nice charger. I thought I could just stick my phone in without having to put the charger line in the phone. That is a little disappointing, but I guess I didn't read about the charger close enough. I had to take my case off of my phone, but that is ok too, because my phone is basically the pits and only keeps a charge for a day. I don't use it for anything but a phone and have a few photos in it, so I don't know what the problem with my phone is, but the charger is pretty nice.

The AC adapter worked one time. Luckily, I had another AC adapter from some other device that I no longer use, and it powered up the charger. Took me a while to figure out what was wrong. The AC adapter's plug detaches from the adapter, for what reason I do not know, as is no European-style plug included. Maybe that was the part that was defective. Definitely a buyer-beware product.

This is a great charger. I use the USB to iPhone adapter and it works wonderfully. The charge is quick, so even a five minute drive can add a few percent to the battery. I have used this product for a few years, and it generally performs well and offers some really fine features. But...Beware of the manufacturer's "official knockoff" sold at a lower price in many "big boxes"...and even here at Amazon. A copy of another review I filed here follows...

As an outdoor enthusiast, I placed the "regarded" Motorola T5950R FRS/GMRS 2-way radio pair on my Christmas list. While attempting to acquire this set in a chain sporting goods store, my father was "steered" to the alleged Motorola model T6500 by a store associate who said that model was a new replacement for the T5950. After being informed of this, I decided to do some web research, and interestingly found that the model T6500 was NOT to be found ANYWHERE on the Motorola web site.

Seems the T6500 is a "licensed knockoff" of the T5950 by Motorola's mainland-Chinese electronics manufacturer. The units look the same except for the face plate color (Yellow=T5950 / Khaki=T6500). The features are identical--as is the packaging. Only a small indication on the rear of the T6500 package discloses that the product is "Manufactured and sold by Giant International, Ltd., official licensee for this product." Furthermore, it is warranted and supported EXCLUSIVELY by the MANUFACTURER-NOT MOTOROLA!

Now...To the "differences"...and there ARE some-ALL performance related. While Motorola may license their name, logo, and design to an offshore OEM producer, you can be sure that they reserve their customer support AND several technical enhancements for models THEY specifically brand and market.

A side by side comparison between the genuine Motorola T5950 and its T6500 "imposter" reveals several performance issues. The T5950 has relatively good coverage (considering the communications class); audio loudness and clarity that are sufficient for reliable reception on a congested and "spotty" broadcast service; and NOAA Weather Station reception that is fairly good...even 30-50 miles from the desired station. I did not compare the T6500s transmit-receive coverage, but its audio quality and "punch" are WELL BELOW that of the "genuine" T5950. Furthermore, Weather Band reception on my T6500 sample (both units in the set) was very nearly NONFUNCTIONAL.

In conclusion: It is well worth spending a few bucks more for the "Real McCoy" genuine Motorola T5950 (I actually spent $4 LESS with a rebate here on Amazon). You'll appreciate the "domestic support", improved transmit audio quality, and a weather receiver that actually may save your life when you're out on the water!

These are terrific little units with awesome range.

I keep a pair in every car I have for trips to Costco, the Mall, Seaworld or wherever.

My only complaint if the NiCAD batteries. They do get a memory if you don't use them a lot. NiMHD would have been a better choice considering the way you'll likely use them. The batteries will lose their charge whe sitting unused so they are less available for last minute emergency use.

Everyone please understands that getting the FCC license for any GMRS radio does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to increase the range of the radio. The license is a piece of paper so the FCC may track who is using GMRS frequencies, nothing more. They used to do the same for CB users in the 70's. They do not track FRS freqs because of the low output power of FRS radios. Range is affected by output power of the radio but mostly by obstacles between you and the other radio. Trees, walls, buildings, hills, etc. reduce the range considerably. A true test of range is on open water or unobstructed Line-Of-Sight from one hilltop to another. (Not everyone has a boat) Buy three different sets from different brands and try them near a lake to test, return the ones that are not to your liking.

I took a pair of T5950 on a 2 week trip. Using 2300mah nimh batteries, they last more than a day. The sound quality was very good. Remember, don't crank the speaker volume to max, this actually distorts the sound. When in the city, I was able to use the T5950s about 10 street blocks apart. The sounds was very clear.

By the way, I saw a comment on Motorola "imposter" and "licensed knockoff" by HippoRadio here. HippoRadio clams T5950 is a true Moto product, while other models like T6500 are "a licensed knockoff of the T5950 by Motorola's mainland-Chinese electronics manufacturer". He came to this conclusion because "a small indication on the rear of the T6500 package discloses that the product is Manufactured and sold by Giant International, Ltd., official licensee for this product."

Since I was looking to buy more Moto's radios, just to verify, I emailed Motorola asking which models are made by Moto themselves.

Here is the official reply from Motorola's customer service Marisol R on Jun 03, 2005. It seems, in fact, ALL talkabout radios are made by Giant International based in China. Any quality difference between models are just due to different designs, quality control, etc., and not due to different manufacturers.

Very nice looking pair of radios, but distance was not impressive. Walking in a residential area which was relatively flat, the radios maybe had distance of about 3/4 mile before transmission began breaking up. That was disappointing considering the advertising suggested "upto 5 miles." Maybe they tested them in the middle of the Arizona desert or something. I'm probably going to return these and try to get something with greater range.

The battery arrived very well protected in 3 business days from Chrome battery. The wiring and connector on the battery appear to be of a quality equal to the wiring and connector on the UPS side. The 2 batteries (RBC7 is 24 volts requiring 2, 12 volt batteries in series) seem to be held together very securely with foam tape. I can't compare the Chrome battery to the original because I bought the UPS used without a battery.

I have not yet tested the capacity and don't know if I will. It arrived at a 40% (2 out of 5 lights) charge and took a few hours to reach 100% (5 out of 5 lights). I expect the battery would've charged pretty quickly if it didn't have a decent capacity.

Hopefully I'll remember to post an update after a year or 2 regarding longevity.

Bought 2 of these PS-1230 (12V/3AH) and one PS-1270 (12v/7AH) from same seller. Good replacement batteries for all my UPS's. Did test them in UPS giving them enough time to charge up (overnight) & by unplugging the UPS to simulate power loss & with stop watch tested duration of power to computer & LCD monitor. UPS's performed like spec sheet said as when they were new. Price not the cheapest nor the most expensive. Good balance of quality & value as new! A little surprising was that the PS1230 (smaller battery) was little more expensive than PS1270 (a bigger battery) from this seller!! Long term don't know! Very satisfied now!

UPDATED after 1 year...

Bought this to replace the OEM battery in my APC Back-UPS ES 350. Of course it's cheaper, so I was concerned about quality. After a year, however, it is still doing its job just fine. That's great, because the OEM batteries invariably seem to die after a year or so. (I work in an office building with horrible power: lights flicker when somebody in the next office fires up his laser printer, constant brownouts and even total outages every few months in spite of fancy backup generators, you get the idea.) I would definitely buy again.

bought this cooler as a gift for my husband. he is on the road all day and tired of drive-thru. he was using a regular cooler and the ice packs just wouldn't keep drinks cool all day on the blistering hot days. my husband loves this electric cooler. he does not pre-chill the cooler before packing it, but all food and drinks placed in the cooler are pre-chilled. he does not have to add ice packs, the cooler does the job. my husband's only negative comment is he wishes the power cord was a little longer.

1st cooler was received damaged, but i called customer service and i had the replacement in 3 days. no cost to customer to return the damaged one.

Very disappointed in this product. The first time I used it the plastic hinge on the lid became distorted. The lid is difficult to open.

The instructions was a single page and though written in English, were not clear. It took me a while to figure out how to make it cool or warm. It stopped cooling after one use and I had it plugged in correctly.

The provided strap was unattached. No Instructions were included on how to attach the strap. Also, the strap is a cheaper version of what is displayed on the packaging.

I'll go back to my old ice cooler.

The P9 Koolatron works well and is the size I wanted. But the fan noise is excessive, very irritating. I bought a $5 CPU fan from a computer store

and modified it and replaced the fan that came with the cooler. It is now much quieter and it works well. The manufacturer should put in a better fan.

Great product. I bought it for use with a Hisense sero 7 pro tablet. When using the key pad on the Hisense tablet, with the charger sent with the tablet plugged in, random characters would be entered. With the GTMax charger, this no longer happens.

I did have one problem when I first got the charger. It would charge at an extremely slow rate. I found that the mini USB cable that came with the charger had much more resistance than the USB cable that came with the tablet did. The Android app called "Battery" showed about 3.8 volts when the GTMax USB charger cable was used with the GTMax charger. However, the app showed 4.0 volts when the Hisense cable and the GTMax charger were used. The Battety app showed very low current with the GTMax cable and about 700 mA with the Hisense cable. The GTMax cable is longer and thinner than the Hisense cable and this probably accounts for the extra resistance. Conclusion: use the GTMAX chargers and the Hisense USB cable.

I bought two based on the good reviews. However, with the GTMax car charger / car audio jack plugged in my phone the same time, it often generates quite loud, wired noise from the car audio speakers. This happened before the audio kicked in (when audio is on, it has no noise).

I'm NOT sure if this chargers is compatible with Samsung Galaxy S3. I have it charged my phone for a few times. It seems it charged the phone ok and fast. But I'm still concerned if it could damage my phone in the near future.

I don't have the same noise problem with my previous smartphone with a no-name car charger.

Also note this charger has no label whatsoever for voltage/output/input information.

I'll return these chargers, just for a peace of mind.

Update 1/14/2012

My friend has a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and the charger charged his phone ok. No loud humming noise as when I charged my S3. I noticed this charger is rated 2.0 A while S3 original charger is 1.0 A. Galaxy Note2 original charger is 2.0 A. I guess this charger is too strong for S3, and it may just good for Note 2 or similar device that requires 2.0 A charger.

I recommend you use this charger for a suitable phone. I'm just not comfortable to use it with my S3. I gave the chargers to my friend as a result.

I bump the rating up from 1 star to 3 stars.

I visited this page by chance and noticed the seller has dropped Galaxy S3 as a compatible charger in the product title. Well, they should do this when I first bought this charger :(

If you are looking for a cradle for your Sprint HTC Pro look no further this is the perfect charger and cradle. I selected this because of the 2nd battery charger. The Pro does not have the best battery life so I love that I can have a battery on back up and ready to go at all times. I am upgrading from the Mogul and I also purchased a cradle for that phone. The cradle for me is like having your phone on display and it is a very simplistic way of being able to charge the phone without having to connect the usb cables or a charger you just dock it and it is ready to go. The phone fits nice and snug in the dock. I keep a dock at home with my desktop and a dock at work. I have the Think Outside Stowaway keyboard which allows me to text and IM easily without having to remove the phone from the cradle. The only drawback that I find for this cradle is the fact that if there is not a battery in the 2nd battery charger the light flashes red and green when it is connected to the AC adapter. Which brings me to another point the cradle I previously owned the USB cord was connected permanently onto the cradle this has a usb cord and ac adapter that it comes with if you are going to be using the dock cradle only for syncing with your computer you can just connect the USB cable. If you turn off your system you would want to keep both connected because it does not charge the phone when the computer is off if you use only a usb cable because there is no power. But I digress. The flashing light does not bother me since the phone is docked at night in my living room with my desktop. But that does seem odd that it would flash when there is nothing in the battery slot. Previous docks I have owned eons ago when they came with your phone only lit up if there was an extra battery in the 2nd battery slot. I know this is a lot to say over a very inexpensive charger but I am happy with my purchase and with the camera being in the very center of my phone I hate to have to lie it on a surface so this keeps my phone and camera as scratch free as possible.
