I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these cables especially for the price. I'm not sure if the other reviewer that complained about the clamps got different ones than me or what. I would say the clamps are great with very strong spring action. The case is pretty poor quality but no big deal. I bought two sets and would highly recommend them.

After receiving the cables, I was anxious to know how they were for quality. The real test was about to happen.

My dad owns a Freightliner Century, and had to jump start it. He was considering constructing his own booster cables with durable clamps with parts from the local parts store. After convincing him to give these a try, we placed the order and waited.

It came in a great carrying case (which was of course in a box from Amazon). My dad used them to jump start his truck, using his friend's truck for power. It took no time to do so. My dad, being a very picky individual, was very pleased with the cables, and even his friend asked where he purchased them from.

They truly are heavy duty. I believe they are made in USA as well. Well, at least this is what I found after doing a search online for the model #.

This product is definitely a good buy!

These are good, heavy duty cables. The wire is some kind of copper coated aluminum, but they are good enough for heavy use as thick as they are.

Very heavy duty cables but I am going to replace the clamps,they (the clamps)are to flmsy and they just wont hold on to a side post battery,and most new or nearly new cars have side posts.That being said they should use another type of clamp.Like I have said the cables are really heavy duty.

These are some heavy duty cables,seriously thick cables just like my 1ga welding leads , not 100% sure about the gauge wire in there ( and not cutting it open to find out ) but they work great even with a completely dead diesel. The cable is on the stiff side which I was expecting and GLAD to have trouble with when winding back up to put away in the case ( good cables DON'T wind up like a wet noodle )

I have a lot of experience with jumper cables LOL I have had cheap ones that wouldn't jump start a lawn mower and really good ones that I use for my trucks and these are definitely goods ones, good enough to replace the set I have been using for years that would jump anything off. The only problem I had with my old set of cables is they were only 16' which was a problem last time I had to use them which caused me to look at and buy these and I have no regrets.

The clamps are a LOT better than I expected them to be, they hold really well and are built SUPER DUTY STRENGTH, these even worked out great jumping off my powerstroke after it sat for to long and they take a LOT of juice to get cranking.

The included case is just a cheap plastic box that I don't see lasting very long but it is functional for now to keep them organized in my trucks toolbox which is great if you have ever had a set of LONG cables get tangled up in a trucks tool box with all the other stuff in there you know what I mean.

They are a great value for the less than eighty dollars they cost now, 800ammps? not sure, but they do work good and are long enough to reach from one end of a vehicle to another.

BUY them while you can get them they work great

I figured I would ad I am using these in Florida so can't really comment as to how good they are in the freezing cold and hope I never can but here in sunny Florida they flex as expected and work great

Seems well made and for the price you can't beat it. Mine came with 1/2 charge but charged up quickly after plugging it in for 30 minutes. Read the manual. You have to recharge every 30 days to maintain a full charge. That is normal for these portable chargers.

You can't tell from the pictures just how small this unit is. Mine also had a 50% charge upon receipt and did not take long to fully charge. I was looking for a jump starter that I could keep in my car for emergency situations. My previous jump starter was too large and I wasn't able to keep it in my car without it getting in the way. This one is small enough that I will be able to keep it in the trunk at all times. I am also looking foreword to using the 12V charger on our next camping trip. For the price I think this is a great buy.

I bought this charger to charge my iPhone from my car's cigarette lighter.

I'm not satisified with this product.

1. The charger produces static on my FM radio when the phone is plugged it.

2. The charger charges my iPhone very slowly. (Its hardly rapid.)

3. The charger's iPhone plug adapter is a separate part from the charger. (The charger is 'universal'.) The adapter needs to be fiddled with to make a good connection between the charger's phone-side cable and the iPhone. (I suspect this adapter connection is the source of the static.)

In summary, the charger is of lower quality and construction then the iPhone. It is however usable.

Wow! Two drills, standard and impact. Small yet powerful for a 14.4 volt drill. Well balanced and ergonomically shaped for those big jobs. Drills have a belt hook if you are in need of an extra hand or, if not, you can remove the hook altogether. The drills have a built in light that is readily available at the push of a button, located on the base. It is unfortunate that the LED light does not come on automatically like the Makita BTD142HW. The impact drill was impressive when I used it to replace the garage door rails. Battery life is much better than expected, the drill has a low battery alert so that you can swap out batteries without the surprise of a dead battery in the middle of drilling something. Battery charger is over engineered, however, is pretty straight forward once you read the instructions a second time. The batteries are quick to charge too. I bought this based on a recommendation from a co-worker who purchased this at a truck stop. I am so glad that I did. Its like a power strip...for your car! The 3 Edison plugs are spaced just right so that you can fit 3 wall warts, the USB power is a major plus, and the car power port on the other end is of course a necessity. I love the rubber cover for the USB jack for when it is not in use (It is made of thick, durable rubber, and mine doesn't even show signs of wear).

As part of my job, I often have to drive a truck. That being said the cord is long enough to either set the strip on the dash, or the floor. I have never had a problem with heat, fan noise, or power draw. It is also pretty heavy duty, especially considering it doesn't weigh very much at all. The strip has 4 screw slides on the back for more permanent mounting.

My only complaint (Other than not having more outlets, which just isn't practical running off of a car power port), is that the L.E.D. indicating that it is turned on could be brighter.

This item is awesome for long trips, or for when you have to wait in the truck for a long period. I would say this item is a must for truck drivers, long trips with kids, or those people with tons of gadgets. 5 out of 5, I would not hesitate to buy another one.

I've recently broke one of these by accidentally smashing the plug. Entirely my fault (not the product's). But it works so good, I bought another. Its so nice to charge and use a laptop (and other gadgets) while traveling. I've tried a few 100watt inverters to power my 85 watt computer, they have all failed me. This 150watt inverter does what I want.

The bad...

The fan is noisy, but so are most all inverters of this sort. Plugging it in is a little finicky to get a connection it could be my car's receptacle. The power light is dim; tough to see on sunny days.

The good...

I use this to power either of my two power-hungry laptops. It has never flinched nor got very warm. This item seems more durable than average. It has a heavy gauge power cord that is about 2.5 to 3 feet in length. The power light is dim; doesn't light up the car at night. The 12volt receptacle is nice.

Other...

The long shape may not work for everybody. I leave it in my car's jockybox, and it barely fits. I bought mine from Town Pump (gas station) for a higher price than Amazon's.

We were concerned that it would be powerful enough to run the PC but it worked perfectly. With 3 teenagers on a long road trip it was critical we had enough juice to power all the toys and cell phones. It powered my 17" Sony Vaio PC. We had a Samsung Tab plugged into the PC. Also kept a windows phone charged using the USB. The price on Amazon was incredible compared to the price in a the stores. I also like the "Power strip" layout and the Long cord. It could reach from the front cigarette lighter to the back seat. I also really like all the outlet options, I can charge anything anywhere. I'm going to start taking this on business trips as well. We are always having issues with enough power outlets for our PC and Iphones.

If you have a larger laptop make sure you only charge it while it's off, otherwise the inverter gets a little rough on your car battery. Solidly built, well designed and I tested it with a volt meter and found it to produce 117 VAC (AC volts) on all three outlets. I did not test the 12VDC port or the USB port. The manual is well written and informative. The power cable is 4 feet long.

This unit produces a modified square wave to approximate a sine wave and product literature claims this is sufficient to power "most" laptops and electronic devices safely (some electronics are very sensitive to wave form). I will be using the PowerDrive to power a recently purchased Dell Vostro laptop. My expectation is that this advertised to run electronic devices safely so I'd be surprised if it didn't.

Out of the box, I was very pleased with the performance of this radio. It made a couple of trips with me to the coast, never getting wet, just exposed to the salty air. After each trip, I completely wiped the unit down. After about 7 months of fairly light use, the spring-loaded battery terminals corroded and stuck inside the unit. I contacted Cobra customer service and received very poor customer service. They wanted $48 to repair the radio that was supposed to have a 3-year warranty on it (with me paying shipping both ways). Buyer beware, you are taking a chance by buying a product with poor warranty and customer service backing it.

The spring loaded post/terminal in the battery compartment rusted and stayed compressed. This rendered the radio dead even though the battery is fully charged. The only way to fix this was to put some aluminum foil to fill the gap. Customer service gave me the same runaround another person experienced in another review. Warranty not honored at all. Rude customer service. That is just unacceptable for an emergency device. If I had an emergency and was unable to call for help, even though the battery is fully charged, you know there would be a nice lawsuit launched after the rescue. Yes... I rinse the unit with fresh water each time I made a trip at sea... Followed by drying completely.

Works well. The radio is compact and with the microphone it allows you to multi task and keep communications optimum. The clip has the tendency to fall off and disappear, the only downside to the radio. I assume that you could glue it in position if you wanted to.

I bought this inverter because of its compact size. Since my car only has one power point (cig lighter), it's like a 3-way adapter.

I've used it for awhile now and works well for me. I mainly use the household outlet for keeping my laptop topped off on the road and sometimes the USB port to recharge my iPod after a long day. If I had to, I can also plug in my cell phone charger into the second household outlet.

Most other inverters were much larger and would have been messier.

mmm. I definitely was expecting something a little different. It works okay. They haven't perfected a way for what you plug in to actually stay in. It's not the greatest compatibility. You have to maybe turn it side ways so it doesn't fall out. I get a little annoyed with things like that. You pay good money for something to deliver convenience or some sort of gratification and you still wind up settling a little. I had to turn it a few times. Push it back in a few times. If you hit a bump it might move. It is quiet though. My friend has one from another company that is noisy as hell. That would definitely annoy me more so I guess it's the lesser of evils. I'm sure with a little research there is a better version that we can totally feel confident in. So in closing if you don't mind a few things a little off and you can work around them then try it. I'm sure I'll get another type to compare because I put them in different vehicles and I'm always on the road.

Bought this items primarily because of price and dual outlets, but wish now I had bought another. It works, but is frustrating. My primary complaint is getting this thing to stay in and connected. The metal contacts on the side are too thick and without sufficient "spring" to make good contact and hold it in place. The end contact has no spring at all, so if the unit wiggles out a fraction of an inch it loses contact and goes off. The plastic locking switch is so inaccessible and hard to move that it is effectively useless. The AC outlet contacts are so cheap that they don't hold plugs at all...they just slide in and out. Finally, when it rolled off the seat and out the door one day (maybe a one-foot drop), the cheap plastic clip that holds the unit together broke (easily remedied with some glue). If you're only concerned about price...well, I would still look at other options.

It's a very good item and seves its purpose. This is another item I got on the daily deal and got an excellent price. I recommend that you check out the daily deals, some of them are excellent. Some of them you just don't want to pass up for the price. Like I say, if you want to charge your computer in the car it is a lot cheaper than most 12 volt charging set-ups for most computers and has multiple uses. It also has a USB outlet for charging such things as iPods.

They probably didn't mention it because they don't know and refuse to admit that there ARE a second-generation of Zunes that, like the Zune 8 and 80's, don't work with the old Zune 30 accessories.

This is one of those accessories. So, if you've bought your Zune 30 since fall of 2007, don't bother. You'll complain that it doesn't work, they'll ask you over and over if you're sure you have a Zune 30, you'll tell them "yes", they'll send you another one and the process will repeat.
