Do not buy this product for the Streetpilot C550---it is not the charger for that model (as advertised) rather it is a mini-USB connection---works great for cell phones but not as a charger for the Streetpilot.

this is not made for 2610/2620/2720/2730/28207200 and 7500 they have no battery to charge and the port this would plug into is for USB cable to PC not a power port.

RUN, RUN, RUN from this seller. Do not walk, but RUN!! I ordered this charger. When it arrived I found the male plug would not fit into the female socket on my Kindle Fire. Further, the car plug would not fit tightly into my car socket. It was so loose it just fell out. I notified the seller and was treated as if I were trying to scam them out of a thousand dollar item. I was told I first had to photograph the tip of the charger, and their invoice and e-mail it to them. I explained that I do not have a camera and could not take the pictures. Afetr several e-mails I caled their customer service and was told it was not their policy to refund shipping even though they sent a defective or wrong item. They then had the nerve to ask me to give them a positive feedback. After they receive this feedback they would consider my request that they reimburse me for the item and shipping. (This sounds an awful lot like blackmail). And, they insist I pay the shipping to return this item to them.

All this aggravation for a $6.99 item!!!

I rated these schlocks with one star, but only because it is not an option to give them a minus five rating.

I am looking for an inverter to run small loads in our solar powered home called an earthship. Our main inverter, Outback FX2024, has about 60 watts of "no-load" power consumption.

I just quickly hooked up the Duracell inverter to my 12VDC source (a 24V to 12V DC-DC converter capable of over 240 watts, Solar Converters Inc EQ 12/24-20) via a light socket. The only things I could run were the antenna for Internet and and the Netgear Wireless Router MR814v2. The power adapter for the ASUS K52F-A1 15.6-Inch Versatile Entertainment Laptop (Dark Brown) required too much surge current and the inverter immediately shuts down with "E0.0" error code which is undocumented. We also have a Fantech SHR 1505R Heat Recovery Ventilator, HRV, that draws about 120 Watts that immediately causes a LO Voltage Error "E01".

I'm going to tap in directly to the 12DC source to see if voltage drop accross the lines is the culprit... OK much better! A direct tap into the 12VDC fusebox allows the inverter to run all of the above devices. It also runs my REMstar Plus M Series with C-Flex. The only problem is the Fantech HRV makes an increasingly loud humming sound so I'm not going to run it off this inverter (it may need a true sinewave inverter). So I am giving 4 out of 5 stars, but it is not necessarily Duracell's fault.

I really like the screw terminals. I can easily hook up some Romex wire to the thing. Now we'll see how it holds up over time. It's currently running Internet antenna, router w/WAP, laptop computer AND my CPAP! Not bad!

I got this because it didn't make sense to run a 2,000 watt true sinewave inverter to power a 60 watt load (all the above sans HRV). The no-load power consumption alone is 60 watts! The Duracell inverter has 2.4 watts of no-load power consumption.

UPDATE Dec 20 2012: DO not use the New Trent ultrasonic cleaner with this unit!

It will blow it our because it is a modified sine-wave, not a true sine wave inverter.

I've had 3 power converters in the past. Two died because the internal fuses did not blow but the units did and one black and decker wouldn't put out enough power to keep my laptop running. This unit has been flawless and with the terminals instead of the cigarette lighter adapter I hard wired it to bypass the car key. It is small enough to sit at the ready tucked into my glove compartment. This is the best one for the job.

I bought this so I could plug in my laptop cord while travelling. It does the job. I can recharge most any small appliance I have while on the road. I love having A/C current available whereever I need it. I use this to recharge my camera battery and it never fails me. Of course, they say you can power a small TV with this, but I'm not much for watching TV while I drive so I never tried it.

I have either a solargizer or pulser on every truck and tractor. Can't say how long it makes the batteries last because the only battery I lost since 2003 was due to total loss in an accident. That battery was 8 years old (double the 48 month warranty) and still tested good. Proper battery maintenance plus the pulse technology should get you double the expected battery life based on my personal experience. Tractors that sit for days or weeks still crank up with solargizers installed.

I have used this charger for about a year and it might have quit working. It would no longer charge the battery on my mower, so I replaced the battery. The little LED charge indicator no longer comes on, so I'm not sure it is working. I need to check for voltage output with a meter.

Yes, it is a large charger. Why? All the better to find it. It is has a large LCD display? Why? All the better to see it working. No charging...it's a soothing blue. Charging....it's a warm orange. At night when driving, or even in the day during heavy traffic one can see at a glance what is the status of the cell phone charging. I'm using it it with a Nokia N900 and it works perfectly. The miniUSB connector fits snugly and without hassle, possibly even more smoothly then the wall chager that came with N900. This charger has ample cord length. The cord is spiraled like most chargers, but not too tightly that it whips around like some charger cords. The tilting feature of the body makes it flexible to fit into different console areas of different cars despite the size, or to lever the angle of the display for easy viewing. The plug itself fits firmly and readily into the power port of my vehicle. I bought my charger from Hedocell and they shipped fast exactly what they advertised. Excellent value for price.

A note on Nokia N900 accessories. There's some very nice Nokia accessories from the official Nokia store online but you'll have to pay regular shipping. Buying through Amazon you can take advantage of Prime or SuperSaver shipping discounts. However, for the same price you get a very basic car charger. The one fancy charger Nokia has online has a retractable cord -very cool and unique -but only available in stores. I've yet to find a selection of genuine Nokia accessories in a store, and I couldn't locate a physical store using Nokia online to go to buy the cool charger. So I bought this one on Amazon and am very pleased with it.

Cheap Bearcat BC60XLT-1 Handheld Scanner with 30 Channels and 10 Bands

This is a basic, entry-level scanner. It has a lot of nice features and the price is low. This is by far the most popular scanner used at NASCAR race tracks. Fans can listen in to the conversations between the pit crews and drivers. If that's all you want, then this radio fits the bill perfectly. It's VERY light weight, and runs a long time on a few AA batteries. If you buy recharable Ni-Cads, the radio can charge them without having to take them out and place them in a seperate changer. I've owned many Uniden products over the years. Never had any problems. That said......

If you want a scanner to listen to your local police, fire, ambulance, etc... This scanner >MIGHT< not be the one for you. This scanner only goes up to 512 Mhz. Many, many emergency services have gone up to 800 Mhz, with sophisticated "trunking" services. Bottom line, this radio can't receive them. To be sure, you should do a search through Google. Try "police frequencies" + (your town or county.) Google should return numerous sites that will show you if your local frequencies are in range of this radio.

Besides the above, you can listen in to aircraft, some Coast Guard operations, trains, taxis, who knows what else.

This is a very nice scanner for the price.

I've owned this scanner for a couple years now and it's been reliable and trouble-free. In the San Francisco Bay Area I get a variety of signals: several police dispatch, security companies, ambulance, taxi, ham, even a neighbor's baby monitor. It has proven to be very sturdy (it's been dropped on a few occasions), and the ability to recharge batteries inside the unit (using the AC adaptor) is a nice feature.

This is the only d/f battery charger for blackberry with asy-34812-001/hdw34812-001 while there is a similar charger with asy-18976-002 that only works with D batteries for blackberry. A lot of people were complaining that asy-18976-002 was not charging torch 9800/9810 which it wont according TO rim specifications.just go out and buy the correct product which is asy-34812-001 and it will work with breeze. Before you buy this product, please check your battery. If it is an FS-1 type DO NOT buy this charger. The description stating that this charger will charge an FS-1 battery is wrong. After receiving it in the mail, the package plainly says this charger is for D series batteries. Their is a DX-1 battery used to charge blackberry phones. If you have a DX-1 battery, this charger may work. I don't have this type of battery so I can't say for sure, except the package says this charger is for D series batteries. As said in other reviews, when attempting to charge an FS-1 type battery, the LED light initially illuminates orange, then in about a minute or so, it will turn red indicating it is not charging. I left a battery in the charger overnight and it did not charge it even a little bit. There is another charger on Amazon that looks exactly like this one with a slightly different description that also does not work for the FS-1 battery. I know my batteries are good since I had them verified good at an AT&T service center. BEWARE!!!! Amazon has been notified of this problem as well as the seller of this product.
