This small screwdriver comes with a right angle attachment for hard to reach places. Great for annoying little jobs where you never have a short enough screwdriver or a right angle manual tool takes forever to use. The included case keeps everything together. One complaint: the direction switch always seems to get bumped off the desired position. Also, the magnetic socket is so strong that the bits are sometimes difficult to remove. All in all, a good tool for the money.

This very small driver packs a lot of power. I used it to drive 1-1/2" screws into old, dried, very hard wood. It did the job admirably and the torque didn't seem to diminish at all during the job (12 screws). I didn't need the right angle attachment for this job, but I did attach it and play with it a little and I know it will be very handy when I have to drive screws in a tight place. This is probably not a tool a professional construction person would choose, but it's great for home owners and do-it-yourself types.

I picked up every single cordless screwdriver & electric drill at Loew's, Home Depot, Harbor Freight, Tool King, and all the local hardware stores, looking for something that wouldn't strain my hand. They either fit my hand but were too heavy or vice versa. I didn't want to order a "ladies" drill online since I couldn't handle it ahead of time; bad idea. I found this recently at a Home Depot, and it's both lightweight and small enough for me to grasp without fatigue. My husband gave me a ratchet thingy (technical term) that allows me to use drill bits with this tool, too. Now my main concern is keeping him away from it since he prefers it for small jobs. I probably should have purchased the pink one...

You get what you pay for is the first thing I can say about this.

First and foremost, it works. Batteries charge and I suppose that's the most important thing for a battery charger to do.

Construction feels light. I'm still not 100% sure if I think it feels "cheap" or if it feels "portable"; it IS designed to work as a travel charger too and includes a 12v DC adapter for car charging.

The charging indicators are simple enough, but also confusing. There are 4 red LEDS that blink and vaguely indicate the progress of the charge. They remain constantly blinking though, which is a sign of error on just about every other battery charger I've ever owned. I can't really hold that against this product because it does what it does reliably, but it also seems to ignore convention and I'm not sure I like that.

I've used both Nikon batteries and aftermarket batteries in this and both charge. I will note, however, that the batteries don't fit perfectly. In the worst case, I actually have to put a book on top of them to keep the contacts of the charger and battery together. Nikon OEM batteries have this issue too, so I consider this a problem with the charger and not the batteries. Something claiming suitability for EN-EL14 batteries should be able to allow for variations within that model of battery that the manufacturer themselves allow for.

But then again, you get what you pay for. Aftermarket single chargers cost $10 more than this and single OEM chargers cost more than double. For the convenience of charging two batteries at a time (I have a camera grip that uses two at a time, so it's not just a matter of "rotate them"), I'm actually okay with it's quirks.

I lost my charger for my Nikon d5100 and decided to buy this instead of looking harder for the single battery stock charger. I have two Nikon Brand batteries 7.4v 1030mAh 7.7Wh. when the charger arrived, I opened the package, plugged into the wall. the charger does a self check for the plates that go on top of it. I clicked in both batteries, and they began to charge.. I like the led indicator feature. also wanted to note that one battery had more of a charge than the other, and it recognized this and charged accordingly. Both batteries fit into the base snug and i did not have any connection or fit issues.

I will be getting a couple of off brand batteries soon and will write an update then on fitment and charge. Also looking forward to using the car charger. a must for on the go.

**Note to Manufacturer, How about some charge plates for GoPro Hero 3 Camera batteries? :) searched everywhere, cant find any. Ill take two

bought this cooler as a gift for my husband. he is on the road all day and tired of drive-thru. he was using a regular cooler and the ice packs just wouldn't keep drinks cool all day on the blistering hot days. my husband loves this electric cooler. he does not pre-chill the cooler before packing it, but all food and drinks placed in the cooler are pre-chilled. he does not have to add ice packs, the cooler does the job. my husband's only negative comment is he wishes the power cord was a little longer.

1st cooler was received damaged, but i called customer service and i had the replacement in 3 days. no cost to customer to return the damaged one.

Very disappointed in this product. The first time I used it the plastic hinge on the lid became distorted. The lid is difficult to open.

The instructions was a single page and though written in English, were not clear. It took me a while to figure out how to make it cool or warm. It stopped cooling after one use and I had it plugged in correctly.

The provided strap was unattached. No Instructions were included on how to attach the strap. Also, the strap is a cheaper version of what is displayed on the packaging.

I'll go back to my old ice cooler.

The P9 Koolatron works well and is the size I wanted. But the fan noise is excessive, very irritating. I bought a $5 CPU fan from a computer store

Bought 2 of these instead of the overpriced chargers from Sprint. 1 is still working well but the other will not stay plugged into the phone. Charger appears cheap but works OK. This controller detects a current coming from a solar battery _ "LED" indicator lighting green and also indicates charging level (to be exact level of discharge) of the battery three red lamps show different level of "need for charge" of the battery. More red means more discharged battery. "Load" indicator is useless though. It just indicates that output is available and load can work which is kinda obvious if the battery is not empty. It would be more useful if "load" indicator showed whether the actual load is there. This version does not show anything when you connect the actual load (just one of the red indicators of the battery blinks a little). So if you need to have information about the load itself you have to buy another controller.

Like so many others, our 2004 motorhome came equipped with the "dumb" (set voltage) charging program built into their standard converter, which provides 12-volt DC current to the coach when plugged into shore power as well as charging for the house battery bank.

When I had to replace the house batteries recently I decided to go for Trojan T-105's, and wanted to provide a better charging profile to help them work better and last longer. Our camping experience to-date had not supported a need for an inverter (which typically come with an advanced multi-stage charging program), so I was curious about an alternative to just buying a new "smart" charger.

Progressive Dynamics offers this line of "Wizard" plug-ins as an after-market application to enhance the charging capability of their popular converters (why, for such a relatively small expense they don't just make it part of the OEM package, I have no idea...I guess the RV builders just prefer to trim the few extra bucks from their building costs). Plugging it into a port in the converter changes it from a single stage charger to a three stage, with a "float" mode and a "boost" and "desulfation" mode (the last kicks in for 15 minutes every 21 hours).

The charging profile does not exactly match Trojan's recommendations, but it's a lot closer than the stock converter. Hook-up is plug-and-play, but the plug is fairly large, so, like in my case, because I wanted to mount the Wizard inside the coach, I had to cut the plug off and then splice it back on to prevent having to drill overly large holes in my cabinetry (and the cord is only about 36" long). But with the device inside, I can monitor the tell-tale diode that blinks at different rates to let you know which mode the charger is using, and if I feel I need to manually change to a different charge rate, I can do that with the button on the face of the Wizard.

Again, not perfect, but a pretty convenient (albeit compromise) solution for a little bit of cost.

As a footnote, over the winter I left the motorhome at a campsite in Florida, where it sat plugged in but unattended for a couple of periods of 3 and 4 weeks at a stretch, and when I got back the batteries were fully charged and had not lost a measurable amount of water. That's not too bad, in my opinion.

Haven't really had the occasion to really put this through its paces, but the minimal usage it's seen has been without incident. Performs as expected. Used it to charge up some apple products utilizing a pair of Boulder 30s.

One thing Goal Zero needs to work on inter-product compatibility. The fact that I have to contact the manufacturer to get an adapter cable for this to work with the boulder 30 solar panels is idiotic. Especially for the price of the products. To make the adapter issue more confusing and annoying, they DO include a 4.7mm to 8mm adapter cable. A universal connector is NOT a novel concept. There's the wall plug, USB, 12v car adapter.... There's even a connector called the Anderson connector.

At a minimum provide the damn 8mm to 8mm connector in the box as well if you're not going to standardize your solar connectors.

We got this 400 watt Goal Zero for our many camping trips to power up my husbands CPAP sleeping machine. As we did not have time to build our own power supply, this seemed like a good option for a decent price.

It worked perfect! On a full charge he was able to run his Respronics CPAP machine for 2 full nights.

We purchased the Goal 30M solar panel for it's portability, it does however take in full perfect sun about 24 hours total to completely charge the 400 watt power supply.

My next purchase will be another 30M solar panel, as you can daisy chain them together and get a total of 60M meaning a twice as fast charge.

It does require you keep it charged up when not in use, but I can't think of a time when I would not be using it. At home we use it to charge phones, laptops, and more. Plus it's great for a power outage, you can plug in your freezer and keep it up and running for 7 hours. It will be used daily to save on my electric bills.

All in all we are very pleased with this system and I would highly recommend it for anyone needing backup power.

This is a good to great product for its design capacity. It is a power pack only! Only AC charging in this option (other option sold separately). Solar Generator is a misnomer if you have solar panels for this, it will recharge. A more correct name would be a power pack (option for a solar recharge). It is just a 29lbs box with a 12 volt 33Ah AGM Lead Acid battery (~400 watts) with 1.5 ampere USB outlet, 12 volts outlet and 300 watts pure sine AC inverter.

First (is this product right for you?), you need to know what you want to power and for how long (run-time). This is true for any alternative power product. If you don't know the watts, you can buy a watt meter for less than $20, or if the manufacturer has the information, you can look on the web or call. Note most manufacturer ratings in manuals are for Max power drain

Goal Zero can go a long way by having educational series (YouTube) preparing, how to, and best practices including when to use and not use their products. Note on the cost; it is not as much as a function of Goal Zero over charging but that the more mobile and multifunctional the more costly it becomes.

This product is a low power option ~400 watts and is only good for low power items like cell phone, radios, cordless phone power base, some LED lighting or small LED TVs and some CPAPs. If you can use a portable gas generator, you can get a 2,000 watts units for less than this item. The main use most people that I have talk too about this products is as a backup for a CPAP which is one reason I use it.

If your CPAP with humidifier is 90 Watts with AC (ex. ResMed S9 CPAP), then here how to work out the power. Using the AC uses about 20% to covert DC to AC so the unit (Yeti 400) now is 320 watts. 320/90 = about 3+ hours. But if you use the humidifier on low the CPAP is somewhere between 40 to 70 watts so 320/40 watts is about 8 hours. My CPAP (not a S9) has a Car DC adapter (No loss for going from DC to AC and back to DC again.). that uses only 11 watts without humidifier installed and because I am NOT using the AC; I have ~400 watts. This comes out to be about 36 hours (about 4 and a half nights). This is why some reviews looks contradictory.

I also have a portable gas generator so why did I get the Yeti 400. I live in a rural area with power outages between 7 and 10 times a year. Most outages are only for a few hours and occur in bad weather and at night. Moving the generator outside and running power cords (open windows or doors for the cables) are best done in the daylight and not during bad weather. Also I use it car camping, remote photo shoots, and other mobile activities. Its' mobility and the fact that I only need about 250 watts (min mobile) is why I choose it.

So far this unit has performed well. I used it to jump-start a raggedy old farm tractor, and the little box seems to have an impressive amount of cranking power (for short bursts, anyway).

I've used the inflator twice to inflate a car and a truck tire. Takes awhile to get a tire up to pressure, but's that's normal with these little compressors. For it's size, it's quite adequate as an emergency air source. Took me about 8 minutes to bring the car tire up from 25 PSI to 45 PSI (under the weight of the vehicle). Really not that bad.

The truck tire took a bit longer, as I had to stop the unit to let it cool down. B&D recommends running the inflator for no more than 10 minutes continuously. Total time to bring this nearly-flat tire up to pressure: Just under a half-hour. Again, not too shabby considering how small this thing is.

I like the layout of the controls and indicators. Clear, easy to read, easy to access. Storage for the jumper cables is OK. I'd prefer to see them stowed in a sealed compartment, but they seem pretty secure. Keep the clamps clean, and there shouldn't be any issues storing this in a car.

Storage for the inflator hose is cheesy. It's stuffed into a tiny compartment, and you have to really bend the hose in order to get it inside. The maximum length of the air hose is about 2 feet. You must set the unit very close to the tire for the hose to reach the valve. Not a problem for me so far, but keep this in mind if you need a unit with a long reach. B&D could have done better here.

A major gripe I have is that the inflator has no provision for a backup power source. Depending on how long the internal battery will remain charged in storage, you might find it lacks the juice to power the unit in an emergency. Why couldn't B&D include a 12V cigarette adaptor for this situation? For a unit that's supposed to be a piece of emergency gear, this seems like a glaring oversight. You'd better hope that the internal battery is extremely reliable without it, the unit is useless. Could have been a five-star rating if not for that issue.

Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase. Reliability will be the ultimate test, and it's still too early to pass judgement. If it holds up season after season, and delivers the goods when really needed, I may change my rating to 5 stars. For under 100 bucks, I'd say give it a try.

UPDATE: 12 Jan 2010

The inflator died on me, with less than 4 hours total runtime. The motor was cranking away, but there was no air pressure at all. Brought it to a B&D service center, and paid $15 to have a new one shipped to my home. No hassle at all returning the unit, and the replacement is working as advertised so far. Maybe I just got a lemon, so I'm not going to downgrade the rating at this time. Will check back at a later date.

UPDATE: 23 Aug 2011

Working fine after 15 hours of compressor use. I was advised not to store the unit very long in sub-freezing temperatures. This apparently can damage the compressor, which may be the reason my first unit failed.

This review is for the Black & Decker JUS500IB 500 Amp Jump Starter with Inflator

I received this last week, plugged it in to charge the battery, and planned to leave it in the garage. I wasn't planning on writing a review until I used it, until this morning when I needed jump-start my car because "someone" left the lights on overnight. Sure enough, I put this baby to work immediately and the engine started (no surprise there).

What I was surprised about was that I needed to connect both the positive and negative to their respective terminals. At first, I connected the negative clamp to the chasis (like how I would normally jump a car), but my car would not start. I tried several places along the non-painted metal frame part and even the engine block of the dead car to no avail. As a last resort, I connected it to the bolt of the negative post (while wearing eye protection), and the car started. I know this is a no-no, but nothing else worked, and I needed to go to work. I'll troubleshoot at a later time (or most likely never). UPDATE: I've since used this on various automobiles (including the problematic car described above), and connecting the negative clamp to the chasis works perfectly fine now. I'm not sure what happened since, but now it is working fine following the proper useage.

Now, I keep it in the trunk, just in case. It has a nice compact body, so it does not take up much space. I like the light on the unit, but it is also a bit awkward to use (it points UP, rather than down), so I had to hold the unit upside down to see what I was doing. I have yet to use the inflator, so I have nothing to contribute about it. I did try it, and it seems to work. The compartment for the hose is awkward (behind a small plastic door underneath), but at least the hose is stored and not dangling around.

It does not come with an extension cord, which is required for charging. Luckily, I had one available, but it would have been nice to have come with one (even a six-footer would be nice). (Minus half star)

Overall, a very nice portable jump starter. I have a project car that constantly needs a jump, and I found this jump starter readily handy. For those who do not anticipate to use it a lot, this unit may be a bit overkill, and there are other smaller and cheaper alternatives. Highly recommended. Will update in a few months.

I've owned this for almost a year now, and I can honestly tell you, buy the jump starter without the tire inflator.

The jump starter works great, the internal battery lasts a very long time, and this unit is very well made for the most part.

The weak link is the tire inflator. It overheats very quickly depending on the outside temp. In hot sunny weather it began smoking in a few minutes. Within a few months of regular usage (I have a bad rim on my car), the inflator completely died. It ran, it just has no air pressure.

I guess in an emergency the inflator would do it's job, but for regular usage, buy a better inflator.

The light works well, but points straight up.

The usb charger worked as it should.

I'd give 5 stars except for the inflator.

This product serves its purpose to perfection. I have used this to start my car 3 times. I also used it to start my mothers van which was dead for about 3 months. Each vehicle started up in less than a minute. Usually within 20 seconds. The only criticism is that apparently it seems to have a problem with the inflator because mines went out as well. I purchased this product at my local walmart and they replaced it. My second unit has been trouble free and works perfectly. Highly recommended for emergency situations. I would purchase this product again.

Bought for my husband as a gift and he takes it everywhere. Used it 2X's to rescue boats on the lake. Keeps our car tires inflated. Handy for bikes and rafts. It's a GREAT piece of machinery!! Worth the investment!!
