I bought 2 Rubberized Retractable Car Chargers for my wife's Motorola MOTO W755 cell phone. The connector to the phone does not fit at all. Too small. However, I was able to use it for my LG enV2 VX9100 cell phone. The smaller flat connector fits well in this phone. That is why I rated this car charger 3 stars, since it was advertised for the wrong phone. The retractable feature works great. I wished that it had worked for my wife's phone. I have bought other car chargers for the MOTO W755 that either came broken in pieces [cheap], or did not fit like this one, or did not charge the Motorola battery.

RUN, RUN, RUN from this seller. Do not walk, but RUN!! I ordered this charger. When it arrived I found the male plug would not fit into the female socket on my Kindle Fire. Further, the car plug would not fit tightly into my car socket. It was so loose it just fell out. I notified the seller and was treated as if I were trying to scam them out of a thousand dollar item. I was told I first had to photograph the tip of the charger, and their invoice and e-mail it to them. I explained that I do not have a camera and could not take the pictures. Afetr several e-mails I caled their customer service and was told it was not their policy to refund shipping even though they sent a defective or wrong item. They then had the nerve to ask me to give them a positive feedback. After they receive this feedback they would consider my request that they reimburse me for the item and shipping. (This sounds an awful lot like blackmail). And, they insist I pay the shipping to return this item to them.

All this aggravation for a $6.99 item!!!

I rated these schlocks with one star, but only because it is not an option to give them a minus five rating.

These are well-made and manufactured in USA!! There is not much to say about jumper cables, but some of the ones you see at automotive parts stores are pretty flimsy and the conductors look like they are significantly smaller than the gauge marked on the packages. These 6-gauge are suitable for cars with medium size batteries such as compacts or older models. For a new sophisticated car with lots of electronics and a big battery (BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, etc.), I suggest 4-gauge cables instead.

These cables are a good value. They work well enough if you're attaching them to automotive battery terminals; however, the jaws don't close together far enough to bite onto motorcycle/powersports type terminals, which limits their versatility.

After accidentally including my last set of jumper cables with the sale of my last car, I was in need of new ones!

These are long and heavy duty probably overkill for my 1.4L engine, but if you needed to jump a truck, they would be great. The whole assembly is well put together, with good, solid connections from the handles to the cables. They have worked great on a hybrid Highlander and Chrysler 300 (co-worker left the dome light on in the company car...).

If you don't have a lot of space though, skip this set since they are not small.

I'm a portable power sponge -I absorb all I can get. I'm often working on the road while my significant other drives. This is a very sturdy, quality charger. I have had others that turned out to be rather flimsy; they would wiggle in the socket, loose connection, fall apart, etc. This one has very stiff spring-loaded contacts which are elongated to make a very secure connection. I used the charger with different combinations of smart phones, GPS units, Kindle Fire tablet, and a blue tooth receiver. The charger performed correctly with all combinations of devices and it seems to put out the rated current because none of the devices reported that they were in slow or "trickle" charge mode. I was also pleased to find out that it is smaller than I expected and it does not project out from the socket very far at all. The USB ports also have an up angle which works well for me since my cigarette lighter socket is fairly low in my car. This makes it a little easier to insert USB cables. Overall the charger does what it is supposed to and seems solid enough to last a long time.

This works great. I got it to charge two iPads (or 1 iPad and a Samsung Note II) at the same time. Works really well. Just fyi, this will not charge an iPad if you're using the retina display for GPS and mapping. Just discharges a much lower rate. All in all, I'm very satisfied. I have been looking for a higher output car charger for some time now after I've acquired a Galaxy Note 2. With my old charger (with a measly output of .7A it could barely keep up with the battery drain if I have cell data on, GPS running, and bluetooth all going at once.

This got to me just in time right before a road trip so I took it for a drive. While I didn't measure total time to charge from empty to full what I can tell you is that it is charging at about the same rate as the factory brick charger (we were charging my Note 2 and a iPhone5 at same time so the manufacturer's claim of high output appears to be true).

I also like the design and build of it feels a bit more solid than your average car charger purchased from Asia (e.g. DX or MP). Overall, I am pleased with this product and would purchase again if/when this breaks down or if I need another one.

Many USB car chargers claim to charge two devices... very few actually can. Most of the chargers that looks like this one have either two 1Amp plugs or one 2.1Amp and one 1Amp or some other variation. You see, the problem is that if you have two devices that need more than 1Amp, then you're not really charging them both. This charger provides two 2.1A slots, so go ahead and charge your ipad and galaxy pad... it will work just fine :D

The product properly maintains my motorcycle battery as described, but it emits a high-pitched humming noise very similar to the every day ringing in my ears (tinnitus). The noise is constant whether maintaining a batter or not.. the unit just has to be plugged into the outlet. Friends who are in the garage for a few minutes always ask me "What's that sound??". The product works fine but I might switch brands if I ever need a new one.

Having once had the good fortune to be in the factory, and to meet the patriarch of this brand, I have always been a fan of their products. I have a car charger from the 1970s and it is still in use regularly without failure and even looks new.

This new mini charger is what I use to keep my ATV ready. The utility connections are excellent and they include all the plug choices to fit your needs. I put the connection on with the two plugs and it is a snap to re-hook the charger for storage when I return the ATV to the garage. Very nice. The status lights are logical, the charger itself is quiet and is quite small to not take up space in the garage. Very small, in fact. These people are good folks and the products they make are high quality: buy this charger and forget about it.

I typically like Schumacher battery products, for the money they are much better than Battery Tender chargers. That said, this is ONLY a 2 amp charger and not capable of 4 amps (which would make it good for cars as well). So don't purchase it for cars, motorhomes and boats unless you want something only to maintain a charge.

I had another electronic style charger, purchased a few years ago from Sam's Club. Not bad, just not durable and it gave up the ghost...

I was referred to Schumacher by some friends in the auto repair business and wanted a unit that was reliable and was versatile, charging different types and sizes of batteries. We have a vehicle and a motorcycle that doesn't get used regularaly and I needed to be able to top off various batteries.

1st impressions, this thing is HEAVY compared to other brands! Not a big surprise since I have to assume they use a more robust transformer than other brands.

On the flip side, the battery leads are lighter and smaller than I would have expected. They work great and since Schumacher has been doing this for quite a few decades, I'm sure they will work well for the long haulI just expected larger gauge wires and larger clips. As a plus, the smaller clips actually are easier to connect to various batteries, especially if they are still installed (motorcycle).

Other surprise is this thing is loud, with a constant hum when plugged in. It is normal based on the transformer, but it is different than the cheaper chargers out there. This is not a bad thing, just a little different.

I have already used this charger on a truck battery and a couple smaller batteries with no problems. It works as advertised and quickly. I like the fact that it will automatically charge then shift to a float charge mode and includes a desulfide mode if needed. Since some of my stuff sits (bike and lawn mower) the desulfide function is great to recover a battery. Haven't tested the start function and likely won't but it's there if needed...

Overall, pleased and would buy again.

Have a diesel truck that is setting most all the time. Over a long period of time the alarm system and other gadgets drained the battery. Was probably this way for many weeks. Not good for a battery at all. This truck has a diesel that requires two batteries to start. After recharging the batteries many times with another non-automatic charger and a smaller version of this charger, they would not take a full charge and trip out the smaller charger/maintainer. This charger, Schumacher SC-10030A SpeedCharge Automatic Charger and Maintainer, has a de-sulfation mode for batteries that suffer this type of trauma. Over night, about 12-14 hours later the battery finally accepted a full charge. I verified this by using the same smaller maintenance/ maintainer battery charger that continually tripped out. Once I had a fully charged battery, I installed the smaller maintainer, and it turned green indicating a full charge and now maintains the batteries..

Two problems. 1) this charger in my opinion is too large to be a maintainer / conditioner. It does the job but has a fan that goes on and off. Probably uses too much electricity. 2) When ever the charger goes into maintain mode, it sets off my remote controlled alarm system on the truck. I had to put the truck alarm on valet to prevent this.

I put the charger into service the day I got it and was pleased with the speed with which it charged the battery of my car. I like the fact that you can see the on-going charging percentage and thus get a good idea of how long it will take to complete the charge. Another good attribute is the fact that this device doesn't have any air vent slits cut into the top of the case which would otherwise make it susceptible to getting shorted out. This is what in fact happened to my Craftsman charger. While using it one day, it began to snow unexpectedly and by the time I remembered that the charger was sitting alongside the car instead of under the hood, some snow had gotten into the air vents on top of the unit, landed on the open circuit board inside and proceeded to short it out. On a less than positive not but not a critical issue, is the fact that the unit came with the front sticker which displays the information for the various functions out of alignment and was actually causing some of the function lights to be partially covered up. All-in-all, though I'm please with the product and feel that I got a good value for the price and it does meet my expectations.

I purchased a DieHard 71227 (80amp start, 30/12/2 amp charge) to charge a 6v deep cycle RV battery (186 amp hr). My intention was not to charge a dead battery, but to charge my > 50% charged RV batteries individually to equalize them. The battery had about 65% in it according to the charger. After a few hours the charger hit 77% and shut off and will not turn back on.

I returned the DieHard 71227 and purchased the Schumacher SC-10030A. It has slighly better specs 100amp start, 1230,2amp charge. I began by topping off the battery that the DieHard died on. I then let the charger cool down for 30 minutes (fan blowing on it). Then I began charging the 2nd RV battery. It started at 60% and ran until it hit 74% (a couple hours). Same thing happened... charger shut off... will not turn back on. I discovered that Schumacher built both of these chargers... they look VERY similiar inside.

What I cannot believe is that Schumacher is not putting a thermal switch in these chargers to prevent a melt down. Also makes me wonder if the Starter Mode on these chargers will cause the same melt down. Starter Mode says it runs for 5 seconds and then cools down for 180 seconds... obviously they are using a timer and not a thermal switch. So I imagine if you use the Starter Mode a couple times you will probably have the same melt down issue.

So I have gone thru 2 chargers in less than 6 hours of charging. I think the 'old' manual Schumacher chargers are ok, but the new microprocessor chargers appear to be junk.

UPDATE: In about two years I have had some of these die on me -the vendor stood behind some of them, but the units seem to be overly sensitive to line fluctuations, and the cooling fans die rather rapidly. I added external fans and extra electrical isolation and the units have lasted much longer since.

I bought this charger to maintain a 20Ah "gel cell" battery that runs one of the 12Vdc pumps that pressurizes our home well-water system. I was concerned when I ordered it that it would be "stupidly smart" like so many "smart chargers" these days, and refuse to function when faced with the widely varying loads (0 to 10A) as the pump cycles on and off.

But to my pleasant surprise, it "Just Works". When the pump cycles on, the charger's red "charging" LED comes on, and some time after the pump cycles off, the charger cycles back to maintenance mode.

My only quibble is that the cooling fan in the unit never turns off -I would rather that it had a thermostatic fan, so that perhaps the fan wouldn't wear out as soon.

But it has nonetheless run flawlessly for two months now, in 24/7 use.

I am buying another one as part of converting the second pump to have power-outage functionality. Wish I could buy it directly from Amazon, but it is only listed here, not sold here.

The 12Vdc "flojet" style pumps and batteries combined with an unpressurized water storage tank combine to replace the more conventional pressure tank and centrifugal pump, and provide for about 100 gallons of water delivery during power outages.

Instead of storing energy as air pressure, I store it as battery power.

Large pressure tanks are getting harder to buy now that Home Depot has abandoned carrying such items, and even a modest one costs more than my whole battery+charger rig -and the 12Vdc pumps consume much less power per gallon than a centrifugal pump, while delivering a city-water-like 70-80 psi water pressure.

And the water pressure doesn't cycle up and down by 20 PSI, making for much nicer showers!

The resulting system is equivalent to what you find in a $300K class RV, but with two pumps instead of one. It happily handles showers, home laundry, dishwasher, and other normal residential water use. A separate, lower pressure system (off of the same well) does outside water chores.

Ordered Stanley Model LI1000 jump starter 3/7/12 and received unit 3/9/12. Spent weekend unsuccessfully attempting to charge it and then found that Amazon doesn't accept returns on this item! I then called the manufacturer, Stanley, and they expected me to pay shipping charges to repair an item that they released as defective. Then I called Amazon and was promised an immediate replacement--the "brightest" spot in the whole transaction. We'll see how well the replacement performs. Incidentally, they directed me to dispose of the original unit as I see fit.

The only one like it that I could find,

So far this booster pack has only been used a handful of times, but it has not failed me yet. I charged it up immediately when I got it and it sat in the box for months before the first use. I used it to jump start a 2002 3/4 ton GM truck with 8.1 liter engine. The truck's battery was totally flat. This booster pack was connected to the truck and I pressed the button to start the boost process (note that this will only boost for a short period of time before you need to push the button again safety feature I guess). I let the booster pack "charge" the truck's battery for a few minutes, and then hit the key. Viola! Truck is running. The built in LED light on this pack is also handy for night time operations. I am very pleased with this so far. Time will tell if the Li-ion battery will last longer than the dry cell packs in all the other booster packs I have owned,

It worked adequately for me for a couple of months, and then my iphone went dead while being charged with this device. Iphone was in warranty and Apple replaced w/o charge; the Apple tech commented that he had never seen an iphone so dead. I wasn't sure the charger caused the burnout, so I kept if for emergency use. Three days ago the second iphone died while being charged with the device. Apple replaced again, but warned that they now regarded this as abuse rather than defect and would not replace again w/o charge.

I first discovered this in an airline catalog and bought it for $25 for my iTouch. It has performed flawlessly and is lightweight, easy to carry in my purse. It charges up quickly. This battery juicer has come in handy many times, especially since my iTouch battery does not seem to last as long as it used to. This is great for travel, especially camping or whenever you are away from your charger for most of the day. I just bought one for my daughter's iPhone 4S since her car lighter does not work as a charger. I don't know why the other reviewer had problems, I highly recommend it. Remember this is not a full recharge unit, but it is enough to get you by for a little while, after your battery dies on you. And at this low price, get two.

I bought this for the main reason that I was looking for an armband. Unfortunately, this is my biggest problem with the accessory pack. Although the wall and car chargers and the silicone case and hard case are good additions, the belt clip and armband are worthless. The belt clip fits too loosely and causes the Zune to bounce around excessively while running. The armband also does nothing to secure the player to your arm while trying to exercise. It alsways felt as though it was about to launch itself off my arm and go for a short flight. Also, the armband material is thin and bunches up. All-in-all, if I were to rate just the armband it would get 1-star, but since this is a complete accessory pack, the price I paid was worth it for everything else, and hence the average review.

I bought this for my son who got a Zune for his birthday. When we plugged the Zune in to this home charger the screen was flashing and the display was rolling around drunkenly. None of the buttons worked. I had used the item previously to giving it to him and it had functioned normally. We immediately unplugged it and turned it off. When we started it back up, thankfully, it was still functioning. We plugged it in using the Zune brand charger I had for my Zune and that works fine with the unit. While the seller did offer to replace this item they also stipulated "If they found it to be defective". Who wants to pay shipping back to them after already paying for the item and shipping only to have the possibility that 'they' may determine 'it is fine' and then you have no product and are out your money. I would not recommend this seller.

I ordered this primarily for the clear case and the USB cables and I was not disappointed. The set included everything that it said that it would. The keychain and the black silicone case are kind of pointless. I used the black silicone case before and it provides little protection for the product. I have not used either the armband or belt clip yet, but the arm band seems kind of flimsy. The clear case fits the product well and provides great protection. The sync cable works just as good as the original.
