This charger works OK for the Viewpad 7, but not nearly as fast as the original. The original charger has a 10 pin mini USB connector. It looks like a standard five pin mini USB, but has five additional pins and two of these are used for the fast charging. The pinout can be seen on the label on the original charger. I have not been able to find a proper replacement for the original charger.

This was exactly the product I was looking for at a reasonable price! I do a few really long bike rides each that go into the night and my Garmin Edge 500, while it has worked flawlessly for 4 years now, the estimated 18 hour battery life needs a charge while on 24 hour rides. Other lithium chargers I've used while out on the road will reset the Garmin and put it in recharge mode. Workes great for home and overseas trips. No outlet adapter is needed when in Europe. Just change the prongs, which are provided, depending on what country you're in. I was also able to get a tip ($5.00) for my other mp3 player (Sansa Fuze) and the same charger works with both, I just pull out the one tip and put in the other. Cheap Go Power! GP-SF-5 SUNfilm 5 Watt Solar Panel

I've already been using the Sunforce 5-watt panel so I thought I'd give this one a try for 20 bucks less : )

Out of the box the packaging is fine. Mine was a bit messy and looked like it might have been used/returned but it works so I don't care.

In most respects it is identical to the Sunforce but there are differences.

1) the Sunforce is quite a bit heavier. The casing is thicker and it weighs about twice as much. Does this mean one is tougher than the other? Not sure but it's worth noting that there is a noticeable difference. Both are behind windshields so I'm not worried about it.

2) the Go-Power has the same alligator clips and male cig lighter plug as the Sunforce BUT they toss in a little LED to prove the panel is still producing power. I use a volt meter so I don't need the LED but hey...it's there if you need it. BTW, the LED will also work for the Sunforce and any others that use the standard quick disconnects.

3) the Go-Power also includes a quick disconnect that ends in bare wires (they are cut off but not exposed). I don't need that for something that only produces 5 watts but I'll take it as I use those for all kinds of crazy projects with my large panels and trickle chargers.

Probably the most noticeable difference is the output. I laid the Go-Power and Sunforce side by side in the driveway, flat on the ground. Sun was heading down but still bright out so not the BEST situation for power but my goal was to compare the panels against each other.

Using my volt meter, the Sunforce put out 19.4 volts and the Go-Power 20.5. In case it had something to do with which one was on the left or right...I switched places and the same result. The Go-Power put out slightly more juice.

I'm not saying that if I tried another Sunforce it wouldn't be 21 volts...just saying of the two I have, those are the readings I got.

I've been using my Sunforce for a few months in my rarely-driven passenger van and it's done a great job. The Go-Power is going into my s-10 blazer that also rarely gets out of the driveway. I'm expecting the same positive results.

We received this solar panel today. It was $14 less than the Sunforce 5-watt panel we ordered, but it had extra accessories, including something you can plug in to see if it is charging properly. It arrived well packed and in perfect condition. It is such a good deal, I am ordering another one.

I have a short in my car somewhere causing a slow drain on the battery.

I decided to give this a try as a temporary fix as I don't have time to take my car in due to the work schedule.

I was hoping for something that would keep a charged battery topped off, but I plugged it into the cigarette lighter and stuck the panel on the dashboard and found the same cloudy day my battery actually got a bit of charged back from completely dead. Two days later the engine tried to turn, and it's now charged to the point of being able to start in the winter on day three. Remarkable.

I was hoping for something to prolong the charge a bit until I could take the car in, and I have a relatively small panel that is charging a battery from dead.

Great price as well. Definitely recommended.

I bought this to keep the deep cycle battery charged up for my trailer. The battery had run down from disuse and looked at all sorts of chargers that ranged from $30-120 most were chargers that you need to plug into power. A solar panel was suggested and after checking reviews I bought the SUNfilm 5 watt. It really was a "plug and play". It charged the battery up to full charge in less than a day. Couldn't be happier.

I bought this solar panel to keep the 2 12V fans on my boat spinning when the boat was shut down. You may know that mold and mildew get a foothold when the air gets stale, so I keep fans running to keep them at bay. This past winter, in RI, I tried an experiment, and taped the solar panel to the shrinkwrap cover of the boat. As you may know, the winter of 2012-2013 in RI was one of the worst in recent memory. This solar panel was exposed to feet of snow, freezing rain, sleet, high winds, birds and bird droppings (everything but frogs and locusts!). I was glad that I was able to spend time this year in Florida. When I went to check the boat for the first time since December today, the fans were happily spinning, and the boat showed no signs of mold or mildew!

This solar panel is better, and cheaper, than the Harbor Freight el-cheapo model that was not designed to be exposed to the elements.

The handle on this is great. The sponge end is great. The weight is great. The squeegee is terrible. It is about 8" wide, but only about 4" get squeegeed in each pass. The problem is that it is simply too thick. I have used this to clean the windows on my car, and the first floor windows on my house. It is probably still the best one out there, but I am not very impressed with the squeegee part.

The version we received had a ridge in the squeegee side that left a streak on everything we tried to wash. The expander pole worked well as did the sopper side, but we had to return the product because it caused more work than it saved.

Like another reviewer, I too thought this may only be a stabilizer when I opened the package. (I bought the similar but lower-rated Simran AR-350.) The package only refers to the stabilizing functions, saying something like "converts 75-140 V to 110 or 175-250 V to 220". However, my voltmeter shows that it does, indeed step-up 110 to 220 and I'm happily using mine on 110 V to power a 220V device.

I purchased the converter stabilizer to step a 220 line down to 110. I have a long run of Romex from my barn to a shed. I needed more power at the shed and by putting 220V on the line and then converting it back down I can cut my voltage loss by half. I was a bit worried since one review said that it did not convert but only stabilized while others said it converts 110V to 220V and 220V to 110V. It does the conversion just fine. A voltage check shows it to be spot on. The 110V outlets stay at 110V as the load changes so the stabilizer is working great also. This is while the input line drops from 220V to 205V. Great product!!

This is a little behomoth of tried and true technology. I expect to have it for decades to come. Truely it is Heavy Duty as it weight a ton, but is does the job it is meant to without issue. I use it at least a couple time a week for hours at a time, I use it with my 230v Vorwerk Bimby which also cooks at 100 degrees c, so I can definitely tell you this little transformer can handle the load. I do wish that it were a little more compact and lighter but other than that it is a jewel.

I am a neat freak, so when I found this retractable charger and knew I wouldn't have to deal with tangled cords, I was very excited. The cord extends out to a perfect length, reaching my phone that I set in my cup holder in the center console, and then easily retracts into the base again. I love it!

I used it for the first time today and found that the plug that goes into the cigarette adapter had come loose just enough that it was no longer charging the phone. On the return trip, we made sure it was pushed in more and it seemed ok, but still a little loose. I will keep an eye on the plug to make sure it is always pushed in as much as I can get it, and I hope it'll work out. Otherwise I love this charger!

I have used this product many times over the years and have never been disappointed. I always keep an unopened pack with me whether on the road or parked. If you've never used the product, the short 8 9 minute mix & setup time might surprise you even though the instructions are quite clear about this ... mix for no more than 2 minutes and apply immediately. Expert tip ... mix small quantities not the entire packet and do the repair in stages as needed. The packets/pouches are designed to be mixed before opening, but you can cut a corner off each pouch and dispense as little as is needed. A couple of clothes pins can be used to reseal the pouches temporarily. The pack comes with an applicator brush but it can only be used once ... a used-but-clean toothbrush will work just as well. An RV vacation/trip can be spoiled by a punctured holding tank this product can save the day. Great product.

its messy, and you should wear gloves. I patched a rather wide crack in my windshield washer fluid tank on my car. I wanted to try this fiberglass patch before i went looking for a junkyard or aftermarket tank, and started removing components under the hood. I watched a few youtube videos on how to patch fiberglass, and i was able to do a rather nice job on the tank i needed to patch.

I recommend this for anyone who knows what they're doing. Its a good solution to an annoying problem

Over the last 10 months I had used this as a backup during power outages on maybe 6 occasions, running a lamp and a box fan and had no problems up till now. I plugged in the same lamp and fan and got an "Overload Code" and the unit shut down. I tried this several times, even with nothing plugged in and the same thing happened. The next day I contacted AMAZON and they offered a replacement or refund. The backup had been useful so I opted for the replacement. When I went to move the unit out to the garage, I tried it one more time and the unit popped, and STARTED SMOKING and smelling like it was burning! No thank you! AMAZON is now providing me with a refund.

I just purchased this 1800 W solar generator and backup power supply and it appears to work well. I primarily purchased it for the latter purpose, in the wake of our nasty multi-day power outage late last year. A friend of mine just installed a 7.5 Kw solar system at his home, and is now able to sell electricity back to the utility company. His system, however, has an important limitation. If there is a blackout, his SOLAR SYSTEM HAS TO SHUT DOWN ALSO AND HE CANNOT USE THE POWER because it could do damage to the unpowered grid. This is a serious drawback not shared by this fully independent UPG unit. I plan to update this review after cycling the batteries a few times to see how it performs. I have only one complaint so far. The unit did not come with the set screw/knob that holds the two panels rigidly together. I was able to fashion one by hacksawing a machine bolt and combining it with a wing nut, but I wish that I had not had to do this. Otherwise this would have been a five star review.

I like the fact that this has 5 separate outlets for fans , lamps, microwave, etc and an outlet for charger adapters. It takes 5 full days to fully charge from an AC outlet. Have not tried solar charger yet. Be sure and turn off when storing. I did not do this the first time and it actually ran down about halfway while just sitting in the closet. It has all kinds of little indicator lights that drain the charge. Had to re charge fully then turn off unit to store. The generator box while small (about the size of three shoe boxes) is heavy but seems very substantial and heavy duty. Solar panel is too heavy to do by yourself if a women so get help to set up. Also have a large beach towel to cover unit with when taking out of sun to keep it from continuing the charge.

Once you get it all folded down for storage the wheels do roll okay but they should be larger because it is hard to roll by yourself. I am saying all this because from the advertisement it seemed like it would be a quick roll and set up and roll and store, but it does take time and is heavy. Also the shipping box is huge so you will need delivery instructions in a small house or apt. I would recommend this to anyone who may face a power outage. The price was the best for what you are getting.
