I bought this to extend the wires out of my luggage (ammo box) on my DR650 so I could keep the shorai charger safely locked in the luggage container while being able to still keep it hooked up to my battery. It turns out it's just like the one that came with the charger, so you can't hook the 2 together to get twice the length. So it's more or less a spare for me.

I had a shorai in my KTM 530, and bought the special charger that is needed for it if you want to top off the battery over the winter. I used the included cable (that comes with the charger) on that bike to have a quick connect for painless charging. After adding a KTM 990 Adventure to the stable, and buying a Shorai battery for it as well, all I needed was a quickconnect cable for that bike, so I could use my existing charger on each bike. That's what this is. It seems to include an extra 6V connector as well, though I'm only using the 12v.

Only minor complaint the rubber cap for the connector end has a tendency to disappear, so you could get dirt and crud into that connector if you don't tape it off while flying through the forest:)

This phone charger is quite handy and saves me from having to carry two different phone chargers whenever I travel (one for the car and one for indoors). I purchased 10 of them and I noticed that some of them don't put constant output that is causing the phone to report constantly that the charger is unplugged and plugged again that can be bad for the battery. Also It can't handle two phones at the same time that requires 750 mA charging.Having only one connected at the same time it works good. Anyway I decided to buy this because of the price and USB connector. The micro USB cable I got it from monoprice because they offer life time warranty. This small usb connectors constantly get broken.

Having a car charger has always been a necessity for me. I always seem to find myself running low on my cell phone batteries as I drive home. Often times I receive a call or make the occasional call while I drive, and, since the battery is low, I'd prefer not to lose the call. Having an iPhone, this ended up being the car charger I picked out.

There really isn't too much to say. It gets the job done. Has a little LED to indicate power to the charger. I'm sure there are plenty of generic chargers out there that accept a USB connection, I'd prefer not to have to worry about dragging my sync cable around with me. This charger enables me to do that, since it's got the 30 pin connector the iPhone needs.

Since I've never used the charger to fully charge my iPhone, I can't comment on the time it requires to fully charge the device, but it certainly has nearly charged the iPhone when connected for an hour or so. I assume this is due to the "quick charge" that newer devices now have.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with this. Price isn't bad, and, it just works as you'd expect.

Well really, what does one say? I mean, it's a freakin' iPod charger. It either charges your iPod or it doesn't, right? This cord works, I like the coiled design, keeping excess cable from getting underfoot, and, well, it charges the iPod. So nothing fancy or sexy in this review. I wish I knew a joke to tell to spice it up a bit. But alas, nothing. This perfectly-adequate adapter is being replaced by a new InCharge device that's the same size, but has a cooler blue LED and a USB connector, so in addition to charging your iPod/iPhone you'll be able to use other USB-powered devices (like certain non-iPhone phones). I bought this little gem a few weeks ago. I travel extensively with a travel trailer, and when my partner is driving, I like to be on my 17" MacBook Pro. I allowed my battery to drain to 50%, then plugged into the Duracell 175. Initially, the inverter kept cycling on and off. I strung my MackBook cable over the sun visor so the inverter was hanging in front of the air conditioner vent. It stopped cycling on and off, and it completely recharged my battery while using the MacBook. The following day, I put a few strips of Velcro on the back of the inverter, careful to not cover the cooling vent, a few of the opposite velcro strips on the side of an air conditioner vent and wa-la. This little unit has no problem keeping up with using the MacBook Pro, and charging the battery at the same time. I'm totally delighted with this unit, and you can't beat the price.

I just completed a 4500 mile road trip, and we used this invertor many hours each day to power a laptop running DVD movies for the kids (and their parents!). Operation was flawless: The unit doesn't get too hot, it's quiet, and supplied plenty of power.

My only negative comment would be about the power button and power indicator light. The button could be more prominently marked and the light could be brighter; after all, this is made to be used in a car, where lighting is never ideal. Overall, though, the quality is excellent, especially compared to some other units that I looked at which appeared to have been made in someone's garage.

I haven't used this much yet. In fact I just used it once for about an hour, but worked perfectly for my Dell Inspiron E1505 Laptop. It got warm but not burning hot. It didn't make any discernaable noise that I can recall. Feels compact and solid in your hand. Small enough to keep in my laptop bag (although I'm starting to create a small electronics and accessories store in there). Please note that the picture is deceiving. It looks like the power cord is extremely short, which concerned me regarding placement of the item while in use. It is in fact plenty long (over 24" from end to end) and allows plenty of flexibility as to having room to find a good spot to sit it while in use.

We were doing realtime blog and twitter updates () on a 2500 mile road trip.

Initially we used the Kensington Inverter which was disappointing because of constant fan noise.

That was not the case with this Duracell Inverter, which performed well under high use with a MacBook Pro and Iphone.

Though the Kensington is recommended by Mac in stores and online, it is not a superior product compared to the Duracell.

In addition, the Kensington is priced higher.

What was most impressive was the ability to run the laptop and the Iphone, without interruption while they were still being charged.

We highly recommend this unit.

I've learn to only purchase BRAND items for internal usage for any electronic. This is an original LG car charger. It is a small & slender all in one unit, so you don't have to worry about losing or misplacing adapter. Hasn't stop working, gives a fast charge, works with several different cell phones and has a red light indicator. Can't beat the price, compared to the $30 they charge at Brick and Motar stores or provider. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the cord from charger to phone is short and tight, but I'm sure with normal wear & tear it'll eventually stretch out (like the old house phone cords).

As other reviews have stated, the cables are surprisingly thin. That hasn't caused any problems, though, and they charge my HTC EVO 4G as advertised.

The retracting mechanism has worked well so far, and is convenient for storage when not in use.

Item received as provided in item description. AWESOME price for both products. Both chargers have a single push button that retracts the cord within the charger for a clean look & easy storage. Car charger has a "blue" light that lights up to indicate that it is properly inserted in to lighter for proper use which is great. Cords are thin & some complain about being to small but I've had no problems with length as an issue. I use the wall charger as my back up at work. Easy to store in my desk when I leave & keeps my phone charged for daily use while at work. Some have complained about the cords getting tangled or not made of quality construction but I think as with all "retractable" products the best thing is to take care of how you use it. Caution with retracting the cord will help extend it's life. I've been using the product now for over 2 weeks & have no problems with either of the chargers. I highly recommend these for daily use & you can't beat the price for both of them.

The price was great and both chargers arrived pretty fast. The wall charger wouldn't even reach from the power cord on the floor to the top of the desk! The car charger was a bonus to me and still in the package. Overall though for the money still a good deal.

It worked adequately for me for a couple of months, and then my iphone went dead while being charged with this device. Iphone was in warranty and Apple replaced w/o charge; the Apple tech commented that he had never seen an iphone so dead. I wasn't sure the charger caused the burnout, so I kept if for emergency use. Three days ago the second iphone died while being charged with the device. Apple replaced again, but warned that they now regarded this as abuse rather than defect and would not replace again w/o charge.

I first discovered this in an airline catalog and bought it for $25 for my iTouch. It has performed flawlessly and is lightweight, easy to carry in my purse. It charges up quickly. This battery juicer has come in handy many times, especially since my iTouch battery does not seem to last as long as it used to. This is great for travel, especially camping or whenever you are away from your charger for most of the day. I just bought one for my daughter's iPhone 4S since her car lighter does not work as a charger. I don't know why the other reviewer had problems, I highly recommend it. Remember this is not a full recharge unit, but it is enough to get you by for a little while, after your battery dies on you. And at this low price, get two.

Used this to connect the high-pressure receptacle on my pop-up camper to my Coleman LXE Grill. This is the type of grill that normally uses the small 1 lb propane canisters. Essentially it runs from the camper to the regulator on the grill. Good flame adjustment and easy to light once the line pressurizes (might take a few seconds for the gas to actually reach the burners when first hooking it up).

Works as expected. Might get a slightly longer hose if/when I need to replace this one.

This upgrade worked great for about a year and a half, then failed with no output whatsoever. Parallax won't replace it under warranty because I can't locate my receipt, and won't honor the warranty based on the manufacturing date. They have no repair capability. So do yourself a favor and buy another brand.

I bought this unit and installed it in my RV with minimal difficulty. It worked fine for a little less then three months -and then quit. Now I'm not exactly ignorant of electronics -I have a degree in electrical engineering. It appeared that the basic unit itself had a blown fuse or circuit breaker -but there was no fuse or circuit breaker that could be replaced or reset.

Since the unit had a a two year warranty -as noted on Amazon and at the Parrallax website -I contacted them to get a replacement. I told them that I had purchased it through Amazon, and I received a curt reply from their warranty administrator, Susan Dixon, who stated, "I am sorry, we do not sell any converters to Amazon and we are unable to honor a claim on a part that was purchased from Amazon."

Kudos to Amazon, though; I contacted them and they immediately offered to replace the unit or refund the price. From a comment on Parrallax's phone about "recent changes in the warranty policy" I suspect they are having a lot of returns and hence their reluctance to honor their written warranty. Needless to say, I will my unit with a different brand that I'll get through Amazon. Amazon -great service, and they've earned my business.

Parrallax -horrible service. Don't believe them when they claim to have a warranty.

I decided to take my 14' travel trailer and go camping for the Memorial Day weekend. So here I was pulling into the last available spot in one of the rows near the bath-house. It was late Friday afternoon when a thunderstorm started brewing and before you know it, rain starting falling hard then a sudden strike of lightening with a deafing sound of thunder at the same time, when all my electricity (which is powered by my Parallax Converter/Charger) goes out. I later learned that nearly the entire row of RV's where I was parked lost their Converter/Chargers due to lightning striking and knocking out almost all of them leaving us with dead batteries. The good news is the RV repairman that is recommended by the campground was there and advised me what to do.
